Delivery cancelled, no warning of this. No delivery date rescheduled, just money taken and no communication.

Made my order online as no delivery charge. Sure enough, no charge and lots of updates when to expect the coal. Very happy with delivery and driver.

They say price includes delivery, that's a lie, min order for free delivery is £80.00 their website is a false

Awful stuff. Not sure what’s happened but their products have seriously gone down hill. Soaking wet coal and bags full of smashed to pieces bits of coal. Useless waste of money. Never again.

After reading poor reviews I panicked a little bit. Messaged Coals2U asking for a delivery date. My Message was answered the same day with a date and time. The young lad delivered my order on time and brought to my door.
Can not fault the service and will order again 100%

Tried to order online. Would not let me login. Requested a link which logged me in, but after ordering, could not progress from my cart, as delivery could not be calculated. Tried several times, changed password, but it says my account is suspended - gave up!

Ordered on 28th Sept, with delivery lead time of 10 days. Received email 2 weeks later to say delays due to volume of orders previous weekend (when delivery was already overdue). Called today - almost 4 weeks later - and customer service said no delivery date scheduled yet. They are contacting the depot. Very disappointed at delta and lack of communication. Will order from a different supplier next time….

10 days for delivery advertised on the website. Spoke to customer service on day 14 to be told they will let me know by day 16 when the delivery is due to be scheduled. Don’t order if you need supplies within a reasonable timeframe.

I ordered from coals2u and then read the reviews and they frightened me but honestly it was excellent.
They state clearly in the website delivery can take up to 2 weeks.
They get in contact once you have a delivery slot and tell you what it is and on the day you have driver tracking to watch when your delivery will arrive.

If there was 1 negative, i would have like an orde confirmation email after the purchase but before the delivery confirmation just for peace of mind that my order was recieved and went through ok.

Soaking wet coal. Emailed customer services who copied and pasted a message, well hidden on their website. This states to open the bag and let it dry in the sun. No sun in Jan when it's freezing and raining!
Seen lots of similar reviews and wish I would have looked here before. If it stated I wouldn't be able to use for over a week and had to dry inside my house, while I burnt logs I wouldn't have bothered,
We don't go and buy electricity, gas or petrol to use in a week, so how come these clowns get away with it??????

Thoroughly wet coal. Told I would get a date for delivery but didn’t, consequently my shovel in the bunker was buried by the delivery guy under 7 x 25k bags of wet coal. Used this firm for ages but now the service has deteriorated

Coal was delivered with three bag ripped damaged and partially empty but driver took a picture of the 50 bags delivered BUT did not take a picture of the damaged bags...When the vehicle moved away I collected coal from of the road....They did compensate me for the loss of coal after several emails and photo's the driver did tell me about the bags that were torn and missing coal but did not report it! My main reason for writing this review is for the quality of the coal...IT HAS LOADS OF GRAVEL IN THE COAL WHICH SHOULD NOT BE THERE! Coal is expensive enough without them scamming us with marble size gravel in the coal!!!

Ordered over days ago now. Delivery has now been cancelled again! Not sure when coming. No imfo.In summer maybe.Will not use again. Do not recommend.

Ive had it with these rip off merchants.
Been a long time customer, used to know all the drivers etc.
Last year my biggest complaint was their kindling. I had to chop it up as most of it was too large to start a fire. Complaint got no reply.
This year all the logs are missing the bark, y'know the stuff that actually helps them ignite.

Have used the company a few times with no problems. Waited a week for a delivery and was informed on the day of delivery that the vehicle had broken down and would be delivered the next week. I contacted them and they said that they would try and get it out to me as soon as they could. The next email from them informed me that it would be another week until I would get the coal!!!

They then contacted me the next day, and said that they could get it out the next day, so all being well it should be delivered in the morning.

Not the best service, I would have hoped that they would have priority for the non delivery customers, as they have been waiting, without prompting them.

Drivers are great really helpful.
Unfortunately they store the bags of coal outside and they are always wet - I ask you what good is 2 dozen wet mushy bags of smokeless coal!
Put a tarp over them for gods sake, I’d rather pay more and have coal I can use- now I have to empty a bag next to the stove and dry it before I can use it-god only knows what this does to my air quality indoors.

I have used coals2u for over a year now so glad i found this company.They have always delivered within 5 days inform you via e mail about delivery but most of all the drivers are superb i am disabled and keep my sacks in a keter shed,if i still have sacks in there they will put new stock in and put old stock on top they are very helpful and jolly i would not go anywhere else.

Ordered Tuesday delivered Thursday , also used 5% discount voucher.
Will use again and recommend 100%

Delivery 5days after ordering. Kept informed of delivery Driver so helpful put wood and coal into containers in my garden even brought two sacks of wood to fire side for me. (I have mobility issues so really appreciate this) Will definitely order from them again. Thank you.
