Absolutely amazing service and our delivery driver was brilliant and so helpful. Reading other reviews perhaps we are just lucky here in Kent with our local depot. Delivery usually quicker than expected and right where we want it. Definitely 5 stars

CPL Solid Fuel Clearance Line (20 Bags)
I order in good faith 4 days later they phone me to say they had no clearance stock to send to be.
then they had the cheek to ask if I would like to order different smokeless fuel. I said yes if could I have 20 bags of the next cheaper smokeless fuel at the same price, they said no. As a goodwill gesture I think they should had let me.

I ordered 6 bags of the no5 smokeless. It Took 7 days to arrive, I did not experience any issues with this company but I only live 30mins away. The budget coal is ok for the price.

Poor company to deal with. Took my money, promised delivery dates that were way off being anywhere near accurate when I chased them. In fact their latest date offered would be more than twice as long as first promised. I requested a refund which apparently takes the bank 3 working days??? Not any longer it doesn't, however I am just happy they answered the phone eventually and agreed to refund me, so I will wait the 3 days. Would definitely not recommend this company (although the guy who eventually answered the phone was polite and helpful).

The company will obviously improve/justify themselves by delivering goods already paid for and expected before Christmas. Having failed, they are then unreachable. Sadly I'm very much not the only one badly let-down. How farcical - a fuel company unable to delivery in mid-winter? What else are they doing - selling parasols?

Really wish I had read these reviews before ordering... ordered a load of coal etc on the 13th December with their website stating "up to 7 working days delivery" was under the impression they would deliver before Xmas..... Still not arrived with no contact, rang the office 3 days in a row with no answer and now the phone lines saying they are closed, office hours open mon-fri 8-6.. its 4pm and I'm getting the out of office message... use these cowboys at your own risk guys, il be claiming my money back as luckily paid through PayPal on my credit card.

Similar story to the majority of the recent reviews. Website promises delivery within 7 working days. Placed an order 2 weeks ago, heard nothing. Rang customer services and after a long time on hold managed to get through, was promised delivery before Xmas. Received a call today to say delivery will be after Xmas. Clearly won’t be using again.

Absolute rubbish.

Ordered 20 bags of ecoal and 16 bags of shimada logs about 3 weeks ago so would have fuel in time for Xmas. Had an email to say would be delivering on AM 19/12.

Did not arrive on AM so phoned to find what was going on. Was told that "delivery would definitely be with you by 1700". It was not. Phoned next day and was told it was due to a "delivery vehicle breakdown" but order would be with me tomorrow. Would "anyone be in" to receive the delivery? Yes they would...but it didn't arrive.

Then checked emails, and original order had been cancelled and new order number issued with delivery assured "within 10 days".

Phoned up AGAIN to ask what on Earth was going on and was told "because I had ordered in plenty of time, their 'delivery before Xmas "guarantee"'would stand.

No coal today...so phoned up yet AGAIN only to be told "we're very sorry but the fuel will be with you next week: AFTER XMAS.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE SHYSTERS.

Ordered 4x25kg on the Sunday the Coal came the following Tuesday. Initially having read some of the negative reviews about missing orders etc I was a tad concerned. However my order did indeed arrive within the 5-7 working days time frame , which given all the snow and ice throughout the country i wasnt expecting to get my coal before xmas . Delivery driver was courteous and helpful and am well pleased with the quality of the Natural coal as it burns well and provides ample flame . All in all a positive experience with coals2u

I placed and paid for an order with Coals2U, no delivery after 2 weeks and they will not answer the phone or emails, NOT GOOD . l now I have a delivery date but not before Christmas hope it arrives when promised

Wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering!
Nearly took a month for delivery no proof of purchase sent till day before delivery had to contact them several times was told delivery 10 days then 14 days then next week the week after. Customer service not good at all. Delivered where I had asked but I expected to be put not in plain site which it was. One of bags had holes in so black mess in my floor. Verry much doubt I will purchase from here again

Ordered coal which did not arrive. Have been trying to get through to customer services for 3 days now and am just stuck in the endless automated "please hold" loop.

In the current cost of living crisis I cannot afford to fork out this kind of money to keep my home warm to not receive the product.

There has been no communication, no email to explain the delay. Will not use them again.

help - no delivery made - delivery this week?, last week, the week before ad infinitum - have had to buy in emergency supplies to help us over Christmas
What is happening with this firm? - they have been very good before

Delivery arrived very quick. Delivery guy was really pleasent and helpful. Really recommend this company.

Very poor communication, very poor delivery, unhelpful on the phone, stating they supply large contracts as though that is our fault, some serious thinking needs to be done in this company, very poor experience

Joke shop. Passed the specified delivery date. Emailed to say another date. Wasnt delivered wasnt informed. Customer service is a joke. DO not use these cowboys.

Really nice people to deal with, yes delivery ran a couple of days late, but they kept in touch via email - nice delivery driver ( Chris ) put it in my garage - could not ask for more - highly recommend.

Ordered on Monday, phone call on Tuesday, delivered by 9.30am on Wednesday. Can't beat that. Excellent service.

Coal not delivered within specified timeframe. Had to get in touch myself for an update. They said they were running a few days behind, but almost a week later there's still no update.

Let the customer know realistic expected delivery dates and you might not have such poor feedback.

Delivery takes an age, good luck in Winter when you're freezing your balls off.
