Really great course! Explained difficult concepts brilliantly using metaphors to make them easier to remember for the exam.

Novel way of teaching going back to basics so you understand the concepts and therefore can piece together information.
Kept interesting by real life scenarios and funny analogies.

“Concise” in this case is synonim of clear and accurate review of the most insidious topics in MRCP AND daily clinical practice.
It was not the usual how-to-accumulate-notions-quickly, but a real integration between books and job experiences.
Easy and interesting sessions with the added value of the great capacity of Dr Cockrell to entertain while going through difficult topics.
Also, great and accurate meal choices!

I attended the course in August 2018. Although I didn’t pass the part 1 in that diet, the knowledge gained from the course was very helpful even in everyday practice. Dr Cockrell breaks down the difficult principles tested in the MRCP exam into really easy to remember concepts. I eventually passed part 1 this January diet and would definitely recommend the course.

It would be very useful if a few more topics can be covered, may be extending the course over 3 days. I understand it might be very difficult to organise but I would definitely attend myself and recommend this course to my colleagues!

Great course packed with loads of really useful information! It was well organised and delivery primarily lecture based with questions throughout. It really tackled the tricky areas and I learnt a good few wars of remembering those hard to recall areas of medicine for MRCP.

Covered the areas I've found most difficult to understand in my revision. Lots of clever tricks to remember some of the finer detail.

I had a wonderful time at the Concise course, most confusing concepts explained wonderfully by Dr Cockrell, touched on all the difficult questions in the exams, very pleased with the consolidation sections throughout as I had remembered everything that was taught by the end of the course. Fantastic course. Covered many of the more difficult topics that one would usually neglect or struggle to compress into a manageable and clinically relevant chunk. It also tied underlying physiology with a number of conditions across different topics. The days were well constructed and run.

Dr Cockrell is a fantastic presenter, keeping the group engaged and focused and creating a safe environment to ask and be asked questions.

I would recommend this to everyone. This is not just about passing your MRCP, but developing an understanding of medicine that will improve your clinical practice and make you a better doctor.
