Flexible and Well qualified teachers

My daughter is in 4th grade gifted program with advanced concepts in her subjects. She was struggling to cope up with Math and English. ClassUp really helped her as she gradually picked up to pace. So fortunate that we got good teachers for both subjects from ClasssUp who listen to my daughter patiently about her doubts in the subject and clarify them in a simple way that my daughter remembers easily. I really Thank ClassUp and specially Mark for helping us to find nice teachers who fit as per our requirements. We are so impressed with ClassUp that has easy scheduling and video classes, now we have opted for my daughter's next academic classes as well!

I lost 3 classes and it never got…

I lost 3 classes and it never got rescheduled. Teacher canceled the classes and it was at the end of session. Since it was canceled by class up, i thought it will be rescheduled by them. But relationship manager calls and say I have to book next session (12 classes) to get that 3 classes otherwise I’ll lose. I raised complaint, but they didn’t address my issue. They don’t care as you pay all up front. I don’t recommend class up.

ClassUp is really helpful for my…

ClassUp is really helpful for my daughter who is 8 yr old in 3rd grade . Her writing skills has improved a it I can see her grades are improving, I can see she is more confident in writing a paragraph herself. Teachers are really helpful and they know proper techniques how to make them feel confident and also help them understand their challenges and work accordingly. I am so glad I enrolled my daughter here. Thanks Mark for all the help and support.

Very Unprofessional; They Don't Care That You Have Unused Credits

When they're trying to get you to enroll, they're good.... Once you gave notice, good luck getting anyone to help you with an issue - even if they caused the issue. My son's teacher cancelled on us (but ClassUp kept billing us); trying to re-schedule and get a new teacher is such a hassle. We still have class credits left but I can no longer schedule a make-up class to recover my payment (acct. has been de-activated). CS is not able to do anything. I called numerous time & was told each time that a Mgr or Learning Partner will call but still nothing. Very unprofessional, not to mention they don't care that they owe you refunds. I would stay away from ClassUp.

Learning made very easy.

Scheduling classes are very easy, teachers are great and very knowledgeable, also the learning partner Jeanling is really good and supportive throughout the tenure. My kid is really improved a lot in Math and reading. I would like to thank the teachers Jaedon and Barihan for helping out my kid.

Not Reliable-Not Trustworthy

They charge for the classes in advance. They promptly follow up with you until you sign up, pay for the classes and trap you.

The classes are canceled without heads up, they never get rescheduled and they ask you to pay for the rescheduled classes saying the subscription was only these many weeks. They are not flexible and do not have a single teacher assigned for all sessions. They schedule and cancel classes as they wish. They do not follow up to reschedule cancelled sessions and stop answering calls, they don’t reply to emails or messages. The customer support is horrible. The company seems to be fraud who are just after money.

UPDATE TO THE REPLY FROM CLASSUP: Every few sessions, a new teacher is assigned, time is wasted with introductions and there is no continuity from previous classes/sessions. Random teacher joins, random topics are discussed. No value add.

Hi there! We are so sorry about your experience. You enrolled in a subscription, for which payment is charged every 4 or 12 weeks. You can schedule classes in the app with your remaining credits. For teachers relevant, we provide a thorough teacher support selected by our teacher operation team. Each teacher we recommended are as professional as the same. In order to ensure the study process is continuous and regular, we have back up teachers to help if your assigned teacher have to cancel a class in an unavoidable situation such as sickness. We'd love to help clear up any misunderstandings!

Great tutor and customer service

My son looks forward to his class every week. His tutor is so patient, kind and knowledgeable! We signed up for a second package and he's excited to learn more! Mr. Brian is a great English teacher! Customer service is always checking on us making sure if we need any help!

worst tutoring service ever. They just take the money in advance and won't respond to your requests. the service is awful

Don't get lured by misleading ads

Don't get lured by those false advertisements. The teaching quality nor the customer care is satisfactory. Your money is gone and there won't be any refunds. We enrolled in a 12-week elementary school writing program. However, the teacher canceled four weeks of classes in a row. Upon contacting customer service, they proposed assigning a new teacher due to the unavailability of the previous one. When we inquired about a refund for the missed classes, we were informed that transactions are deemed final, and no refunds are provided. Consequently, there seems to be no recourse for the missed sessions. For 50$ per hour, you better pay a little more and find a tutor in your neighborhood. Overall, I would never go back to this

The teacher “ Melissa” it’s AMAZING… she basically helps my son with his school homework ( ELA).. for that I can find a local help for cheaper .

Thanks to ClassUp and the tutors

ClassUp tutors make sure to teach in a way that makes sense to each kid, which has made a big difference in how my son and daughter understand their schoolwork. They have improved significantly in math and English over the past year, but what's even better is how much more they enjoy learning now. It's like they've found a new confidence in themselves. Thanks to ClassUp and the tutors! As a parent, seeing my children excel academically and grow in confidence is an unparalleled joy.

I had a horrible experience


I had a horrible experience with Classup. I enrolled my daughter, who is in high school, in AP classes for 12 weeks. However, the teacher rescheduled just one day before the class, and suddenly that schedule was not discussed with me, and the rescheduled class was not available for my daughter. It happened several times. My daughter was available to take a tutor on Saturday only because of her extracurricular activities from school. From the beginning of this tutoring, I asked to find a class on Saturday, and I registered for it. However, the teacher rescheduled it immediately for Sunday morning, which is not available. So, I wanted to reschedule for another Saturday. But Classup didn't allow me to take the classes that my daughter missed because of the teacher's changes. They said it's not allowed because of the strict policy, which states that I only have access to classes within my term. However, there is no way to take it. There are no available schedules in a week, and they don't allow me to take classes on another Saturday. I feel like it's fraud. I'm very disappointed with Classup. I recommend that people never take classes from Classup, ever.
