From the moment I enquired, I genuinely didn’t have to give the move a second thought. Anthony and his team handled absolutely everything from start to finish.

From packing to moving day itself, they took all the stress out of the process - we didn’t need to lift a finger.

It’s always nerve-wracking trusting people with your personal (and often precious!) belongings, especially with so many fragile items, but everything was packed, transported, and unloaded with such care and professionalism.

Every positive review is completely deserved. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone moving house!

We recently moved house and needed help as I am physically disabled and can't move the large pieces of furniture etc. So I took a look online for a removals company and sought recommendations on social media. On a local Facebook group, Cotswold Services Removals was recommended many times so found their website and noticed that a quote could be obtained by walking around your house recording a video for them to base their quote on. What a brilliant idea. A much better solution than having to have someone come out to do a survey which many others wanted to do. Within a few hours I had a quote sent through by email.

The owner, Anthony was readily available with any questions or requests that I had and would reply very quickly on WhatsApp. I'll be totally honest, they weren't the cheapest quote that I received but they were the best at communicating and that filled me with confidence. We were happy to pay a little more to ensure we had a better experience. Moving house is an expensive time but going cheap on the removals company wasn't the place to make savings.

We're glad we chose Cotswold Services Removals and would highly recommend them to anyone moving house. Their staff are brilliant, friendly and remarkably hard working. The speed in which they can empty your home and safely pack everything into their lorry was astounding. They were equally efficient at getting all of our belongings into our new home. Taking time to ensure all furniture was put back together in the right places and were happy to make adjustments to furniture placement to ensure we were happy with everything. Honestly, their attention to detail was incredible and just what we needed during a very stressful time.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They were really helpful when booking, and were in contact regularly ahead of the moving date. On the day, when I had a last minute change of plan, they moved my stuff to the new location with no issues. I was very pleased with Cotswold Services Removals. Their communication prior to and during the move was excellent, They stuck to the pre-agreed timings, arriving on time and clearing our property with time to spare. They were respectful of our belongings packing and transporting all our possessions without incident. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Was quick to provide a clear and competitive quote at short notice and were able to come up with a flexible solution to move me out, temporarily store my furniture and move me into my new property. Really impressed with the speed and ease of the quotation process, as well as Anthony's friendly demeanour in all conversations with him. Although we decided to go down the van hire route this time, I would have had full confidence in using this company

A massive thank you to Anthony and the team for our recent move. They turned up on time, got to work protecting floors and furniture and loading up the vans efficiently without delay. We were at the new house and unpacking by midday. They were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly so couldn't ask for more.

Highly recommend paying extra for them to disassemble and assemble items such as bed frames and reconnect appliances - this meant all we had to do was unpack, safe in the knowledge that everything else was good to go.

In summary, if you want a stress free move for a fair price - do not hesitate.

Communication from Anthony was excellent. All of the team were friendly and great care was taken on all of the items being moved including using a mattress protector and furnishing coverings. Highly recommend

Brilliant company, look no further.

Cotswold Services moved us last week and their service was second to none. Everything from the very first contact we had with them was nothing short of excellent.

I've broken the review down into components as some people prefer this.

Communications - Communications were superb with Anthony being available at all times to answer any question no matter how trivial. Emails were promptly answered and Anthony was happy to take calls at all times to help us understand exactly what was going on.

Scheduling - We had to reschedule several times which was a worry as we heard horror stories about other companies who would drop clients because of this. This was absolutely NOT the case with Cotswold Services who responded in a jovial and understanding way. Anthony explained this was par for the course and he spends as much time as is necessary to meet the needs of his customers, no matter how often those needs change!

Timing - The team arrived bang on time each day (we had packing and removal) and worked through the day with very few breaks. I was worried we would not make the deadline but the chaps were reassuring and confident they would meet the timings...they did and with some time to spare.

Packing - Crikey, if you sat still for more than a second you ran the risk of being packed yourself. To answer any questions around what is involved, well....everything. We packed some of our valuables ourselves but left clothing in drawers and wardrobes, we left our food in the cupboards and the fridge was still in use. Our loft was full, our sheds were full, as was our garden....everything got packed and NOTHING was too much trouble. The care taken was excellent and respectful. I had several expensive musical instruments and they took every care to look after them. All materials were provided as part of the packing service and special care was taken with all of our furniture. They dismantled beds and furniture where necessary (worth paying the extra for!) and re-assembled this at the other end. Of note, they left our sitting room until late in the packing process to allow us to remain in the house throughout if we wanted to. This was an unexpected but welcome aspect of the move as it meant we didn't need to make ourselves scare and could help, answer questions (or ask them as we did!) throughout.

Moving - Again, they arrived bang on time and set about in a fuss-free way. The guys worked like absolute trojans and stopped rarely for a few minutes breather. It was an incredibly hot day but despite the sheer volume and complexity of the move, it was all met with a cheery attitude and (I was pleased to hear) a bit of banter too. They loaded the van with absolute care, ensuring everything was taken and nothing was missed. When we arrived at our new home, Anthony walked around with us to get an idea of where we wanted things to be placed and the team got straight on with it.

Unloading - Again, the utmost care and consideration. They placed the items where we wanted them and unpacked the boxes and loose items in a way that meant they were accessible. Boxes were stacked neatly and carefully and care was taken for delicate items. They re-assembled our furniture for us, put the white goods where they needed to be and finished with a walk around with us to ensure we were happy with where everything was placed....if we were not, they moved it - no fuss, no drama.

Tidiness - The house we left and the house we went to were treated with respect. They left no rubbish or packing waste anywhere. Cleaning was down to us as one would expect but it was so easy to do.

The team - Brilliant, nothing short of brilliant. It was so nice to meet such a friendly bunch of guys for them, nothing was too much trouble. They worked really really REALLY! hard throughout the two days in very hot conditions and were bright and cheerful throughout. Also...respectful and considerate in a way that showed and absolute professional and can-do attitude. By the end of the two days we had gotten to know all of them, they had a genuine interest in us and we in them. It felt more like friends were helping us rather than just a company (really really hard working friends!).

Summary - This may be unexpected but our move with Cotswold Services was the LEAST stressful part of our move.....we actually enjoyed it and that was down to Anthony and his team. They knew our move had been stressful up until the day and took all of our stress and fears away for the main event.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Awesome job.

Book them, you won't regret it and stop wasting your time looking around...you have enough to get on with already!
