Well what can I say sue was very informative though out the process kept me informed at all times and the company is customer orientated I had a house fire and due to delays with the tradesmen the company was very understanding about it. they kept my carpets in storage until works was completed which alot of companys wouldnt do and the fitters were very quick and very knowledgeable and a credit to the company if I could give them more stars I would.i will be recommending them too family and friends as this is a great company fast and efficient and thank you for your patience great experience overall if you want carpets fitted this is the place to go.

Poor customer service, changed price of the job after a 25% deposit had been paid. Original quote was £1250, they then changed price to £1750. Refused to answer phone and did not return calls when they said they would also manager called John was rude and aggressive. Avoid purchasing anything from these cowboys.

Wouldn’t even rate 1 star!!! After moving into a new house with less than a month before I was due to give birth we arranged this company to come measure and quote. A man came out and measured and told us a quote of 1250 and we then later agreed to this and arranged for the fitting take place the following week. We were told we needed to pay a deposit of 25%. We paid a deposit of £310. We then contacted crazy price carpets to confirm the fitting date etc but being told on the phone when we did so that we had be quoted the wrong price. The new price was 1750 when we disagreed with this and explained to the lady on the phone she said she would speak with her management and call us back . She never called us back so after multiple times of trying to get through we couldn’t . The following morning we got a call from the lady who then told us that the person who did our quote has calculated wrong and she was going to speak to her management about the quote we were given and we were told we needed to wait for a call back from John the manager. We later got a call back from John who told us 1250 was wrong and so was the new quote of 1750. According to John the actual amount should be 1477. We were going round in circles and so my mother in law called John to speak to him and he was disgustingly rude to her saying “ I can’t believe your son is getting you to ring us”. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. We asked for our £310 deposit back and have been told we will get it back by Monday because we supposedly missed the 3pm deadline.
Administrative issues and poor communication!
Started off well, with responsive office staff and a prompt quote and measuring service, but things went downhill after that. My fitting date was cancelled multiple times for various reasons: warehouse issues, availability problems, and even being told the carpet hadn’t been ordered. This made the whole process frustrating and unreliable.
When the fitting finally went ahead, the fitters did a good job despite apparently not being given important information about the property, including stairs and trims. Their work is the main reason I’m giving 3 stars.
I had planned to use this company for additional carpets and recommend them to other residents in my building, but after this experience I won’t be doing either. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t use them again.

Absolutley shocking service the website misells as thry say they have dedicated fitting team whjch is a lie as except no responsability for the fitters. When you to complain as their stole out of my house as well not actually fitting the carpet they just glued it. The fitter where and slagging me off as i dared to to complain about their work and the conplaints manager response was prove it as they believe everyone cameras in bedrooms now as a single living on my own not acceptable. I got an independent fitter who informed he can do so much to strech as they glued to the underlay and their managers response was well we sent perfectly good condition not our problem so i have to start from stratch if laid properly wrecked to the bedroom carpets
Worst customer service I've ever experienced
This company sells carpets at a good price but their fitting is poor, and the customer service is some of the worst I've ever experienced.
The first sign that something was seriously wrong was when they arranged a fitting and then cancelled it the day before it was due, as the carpets we ordered had been sold to another customer.
Two weeks went by while we waited for the fitting to take place and unfortunately it was not worth the wait.
The fitters were only interested in fitting as fast as possible so they could get to another job. They claimed they couldn't fit the door bars for our carpets as "they had no screws on the van" but this didn't stop them racing off to another job that must have needed them.
We asked another fitter to complete what they had left undone, he told us that the door bars they had left (and cut very roughly to size with zero care for finding a straight angle) were the wrong kind. This is when Crazy Price Carpets showed their appalling levels of customer service.
We called to ask when the fitting would be completed, they fixed a date which went by with no visit. Then the fitters did arrive, but with no new door bars and they claimed they knew nothing about the problem. The fitters then told us that they had cut our £32 a square metre carpet in such a rough and careless fashion that no decent door bars would ever fit, and we would need to source some bespoke larger door bars ourselves as "they don't keep these at the warehouse".
We then entered a period of calling Crazy Price Carpets, being ignored, being told that we would receive calls back that never came, that no one could help us, that management were too busy to resolve this. Essentially they do not care at all what the customer experience is once they have your money, you will get nothing from them.
As it stands they are still ignoring messages, failing to call back at the times they arranged to and it seems like they're just hoping we go away as it's all too troublesome for them to provide anything like customer service. The people who do occasionally answer the phone are just outright lying about what action is being taken. In the meantime I'm arranging to have the fitting completed myself, but nothing will change the damage that has been done to more than two and a half thousand pounds worth of carpet by the carelessness of their fitters.
Awful experience, awful company, don't be fooled by the potential savings as the time we've lost and the stress is worth much more, just go to Franks - I wish we had.

I explained about the bed he said that would not be a problem. Carpet fitter again was excellent, polite & even helped me move a dressing table back into the room.
Improvements needed
I recently had my stairs, landing and bedroom carpets fitted and I can’t complain with the finished result considering the cost. I paid £624 for all three areas and the carpet I chose is so soft and brightens the place up so much! The carpet fitter was lovely on the phone, unfortunately I didn’t meet him as I had a family member wait in but he had no complaints and I am very happy with the finished result.
A few things I do think that needs improvement is the communication because I was not happy with the way things were handled. I booked my fitting on a day I knew I would be home following a hospital procedure the day before and luckily I contacted the company to check when I would hear from the fitters for a time of arrival. I was then told they were not scheduled until the following day which was from a ‘technical issue’ with the booking system yet I confirmed the date twice with the lady on the phone. I accepted the offer for the fitters to come the following day and arranged for my grandparents to come over when we had confirmation of a time from the fitters an hour prior to arrival. In the morning I had a phone call from one of the girls in the office stating it would not be completed that day due to the suppliers not delivering my carpet however, I was told the day before it couldn’t be completed regardless because the carpet wasn’t cut?
The lady on the phone then rebooked me for the following Tuesday which caused even more stress as again we had to find someone to be home while we were at work and we would have been sleeping on the floor for nearly a week at this point. The girls on the phone were lovely considering I was very stressed at this point.
The man who came to measure was so lovely and transparent with us about the different carpets and their pricing. I would love to say that I would use this company again when we buy our new home but I would be very hesitant considering the issues I had once I paid a deposit.

Very bad customer service and a sly sales team — not to be trusted.
I spent £1,400 on flooring and everything seemed fine during the sale process, but after payment the problems started.
1. My fitting was booked in, then rearranged for the following week. I waited in until 1pm and after multiple calls was constantly told someone would contact me. By 5pm, after chasing for the fourth time, I was told the delivery lorry had broken down and my flooring hadn’t arrived. Later, someone else gave a completely different story saying the flooring had been discontinued and I needed to choose another one. Why was I not informed first thing in the morning?
2. Multiple calls and messages were ignored, leaving me with no flooring in my kitchen or passage and an unplugged washing machine.
3. I eventually had to go into the shop in person because I was being ignored. John had the gift of the gab and promised everything would be sorted and fitted the next day.
4. Then I received another phone call from a woman saying it wouldn’t be fitted until the following week.
5. I later checked the square metre pricing and questioned the quote because the price worked out at £42 per square metre, which didn’t seem correct. I was then told I would receive a refund of £170.
6. A week later I was told the refund would only be £120 and that it had already been issued.
It has now been 6 weeks and I still haven’t received the refund, and nobody answers my calls or messages anymore.
Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish. Avoid.
Fitting.
Had to wait a cpl of wks for carpets and kitchen vinyl to be fitted,but I have to say it was worth waiting for. The fitter Christopher was fantastic, polite,courteous, and very dedicated to his work,a real gent.would recommended crazy price carpets 💯 percent. Thank you,my home looks the nuts.

Following my original review, I was finally contacted by John, the owner, after weeks of ignored emails, missed call backs and repeated excuses from staff.
During the call, there were multiple explanations given, including claims that emails had bounced back and that calls could not get through to my phone, despite nobody else seemingly having any issues contacting us throughout the sales process. We were also told there had been a bereavement in the family, which John stated was the reason for the delay, however this had never once been communicated to us despite the amount of chasing we had to do.
We were specifically asked to keep all communication in writing going forward and to stop calling the store, which we respected. Following this, we sent a final email over two weeks ago in an attempt to resolve the matter amicably, including agreeing to reduce our expectations for compensation simply to put this situation to bed.
We have still not even received the courtesy of an acknowledgement.
At this stage, the issue is no longer just the incorrect advice, poor finish and additional costs we incurred, but the complete lack of professionalism, accountability and basic customer service afterwards.
The sales process is great when they are securing the job, but if anything goes wrong afterwards, our experience has been that they are extremely difficult to deal with and seemingly unwilling to properly resolve complaints.
Still unresolved.

Avoid at all costs biggest scam Company out there they incorporate the cost of fitting into the price they give you and the advert saying I got every room in my house carpeted for £399 is a lie to get customers I was told that by unemployed at the Company I spent over £1400 and they still managed to scammed me out more cash to lay 2 meters of extra flooring saying it was a different job but it wasn’t it was just an extension of flooring into the kitchen area … the staff i.e. the girls that answer the phones are amazing and very helpful. It’s the management team I.e Jason has no customer service skills at all and is extremely unprofessional i would never recommend this company to anyone ….

the most frustrating customer experiences I’ve dealt with
This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I’ve dealt with.
We spent a significant amount of money on this job and were given clear advice at the point of sale that skirting boards would not need to be removed. That turned out to be incorrect and left us with a finish we specifically said we did not want.
From there, things only got worse. Measurements did not appear to be accurate, resulting in offcuts being used, and on the day of installation we were given incorrect information about the fitter, which appeared to be due to double booking.
The most concerning part has been what followed. We have been told multiple times that calls have been made to us which simply haven’t happened, that emails have been sent which have not been received, and that a signed sales order exists which has still not been produced.
At this point, the lack of accountability is staggering. The communication has been inconsistent, unreliable, and frankly not what you would expect from a company taking this level of money from customers.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this company, particularly for larger jobs.
