The installation couldn’t have been smoother… the fitter was excellent… it was going to be an “Adam”, but he had to be swapped for someone else, and I don’t remember his name… so whoever he was, he deserves a pay rise….

My experience with Crystal was perfectly fine. The project was managed by Qmerit who subcontracted the electrical installation to Crystal.

Communication before installation was good, the installer arrived on time, the work was carried out efficiently & professionally. Charger was placed exactly where I wanted it.

My particular installation was fairly simple in that I already had a charger so this was a replacement.

Follow up after a few days was good as well.

Complete satisfaction from customer service and the engineer who installed my EV charger. Courtesy and tidyness throughout. Very friendly and considerate towards my pets,property and children. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing an EV charger.

I had a really good experience with Crystal, they got the appointment booked the guy arrived on time did the job showed me how to work it and its been perfect ever since, reading the other reviews makes me nervous for if i do get problems with the charger but so far so good no complaints

Kyro came out to repair our faulty charger and has managed to sort a problem that’s been ongoing for a few months and did a great job. Solved the problems and went above and beyond by health checking the General Electric supply into the property.

He took the time to explain what he was doing and how it all worked too, really pleased with the service.

James came out to repair my EV charger and was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He arrived on time, was really friendly and approachable, and instantly put me at ease. He explained everything clearly without all the jargon, which I really appreciated.

You could tell he genuinely cared about doing a good job — he took his time, checked everything thoroughly, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. What stood out most was how patient and kind he was, answering all my questions and making sure I felt confident using the charger again.

It’s so rare to come across someone who takes that much pride in their work. Honestly, if every tradesperson was like James, life would be a lot easier! Thank you so much — I’d happily recommend him to anyone and give him more than 5 stars if i could.

UNPROFFESIONAL!!!!! I have been waiting for 2 months for a saturday installation, and a day before they canceled the appoitment, no proper reason at all. I wouldnt recomend this company.

Not very good appointment not kept

Extremely poor in arranging appointments, rescheduling appointments multiple times due to engineer unavailability though the actual reason is unknown and it seems to be a usual practice according to other customer reviews.

They were highly unprofessional in dealing with customer and I would never recommend them for EV charger installation. I had to request Ohme to alter the vendor for installation than going through the same pain of appointment changes at last minute.

a worker came out to my property day his name was Dorjel, he was happy, friendly and i felt safe with him. he done the job quickly and cleanly. this is the second time i have been visited by this company and have absolutely no faults to find.

These guys are great, the customer service were great and only too happy to help and advise, they had an engineer at my house the same week that I did my facetime site survey, the engineer was brilliant, he was really friendly and explained everything, had to seriously think outside the box to get my charge point installed exactly where I wanted it and he worked pretty much all day in the blazing sun and he did a really good job I had a great experience with them and again the engineer was a top bloke.

4 missed appointments this company never apologizes or compensates not even a call to say sorry we cant make it. Disgusting customer service they will not be wasting my time again........

A team were sent from the Midlands (2-3 hours away) the day after this review was posted and, to give them credit, were excellent. They were professional, left my home and garden immaculate and explained the setup clearly.

Booked an installation with Crystal? Don't bank on it!

I am awaiting the highly anticipated arrival of an engineer tomorrow, after three already failed attempts to fulfil our agreed appointments.

Interesting to read reviews from other 'customers' with the same experiences as me - professional standards evidently don't matter here.

I have been expecting the elusive engineer on 25th July, 6th August, 7th August and Crystal are now 'hopeful' they will materialise on 8th August - I'm not getting my hopes up.

My choice is limited with purchasing through Ohme, but if you have the option to AVOID this farcical carry on, I strongly recommend you do.

Absolutley shocking experience from Crystal Electronics who act on behalf of Ohme / Motability.

The highlight of their visit to my house was the installer arguing with HIS wife to get out of OUR bathroom so he could reset the electrics. Him trying to get in while she's in the toilet was just something else.

The install itself was rushed, installer more interested in arguing with me about my electric tarriff. In the end told them to leave. I would rather figure it out than have someone aggressive and rushed blunder through it. I cleared up the small amount of rubbish left behind (which they always leave apparently)

The best part of the after sales care was the installer ringing me up pretending to be from Motabilty to check the truthfulness of my complaint! Once he was rumbled he went on to blame me for ruining his Christmas as he'll now lose money. So GDPR violated, harassing phonecalls, where will it end?

Oh and don't expect a professional outfit to turn up.

This company literally couldn't have got things more wrong.
