Czarina Avis 

I own many pieces from Czarina - both off-the-rack as well as custom (pre-orders.)
The quality is exceptional. Many of my pieces are viscose, which I love for it’s colour-fast properties, as well as sturdiness (as compared to silk.) I also have a couple linen and denim pieces. My husband has several custom shirts (he’s an extra-large guy and it’s nice to find good-looking shirts that fit.)
When I pre-order (either new release or custom) I know it will take 4-8 weeks in production, as it’s a small company with limited runs.
I also own a fair amount of Camilla, and I do find I reach for my Czarina on a nearly daily basis-I don’t need to save it for “good” because the fabric is much sturdier than silk. Also - the price point is less than half of similar Camilla pieces.
Czarina will also book VIP shopping experiences at the Paddington shop, for no charge and usually with a significant discount on the day.

I would actually give them a zero star rating if that was an option. I was strung along with a collection of unfulfilled promises and ignored emails until I referred the matter to Fair Trading and my bank. After 5 months of emails I have received a refund as a result of my bank lodging a dispute with Czarina on my behalf.

WOW THESE REVIEWS ARE SHOCKING!! I AM WAITING ON A REPLY FOR A BAG ENQUIRY. NOTHING SO FAR. I WAS ALSO GOING TO BUY A FEW DRESSES BUT WON'T KNOW.

ZERO Stars - DO NOT ORDER from this Company. They are absolutely appalling and give zero care about their customers.
Customer service is non existent. Your enquires about the delay with your order will be ignored and it will take a very long time to get your money refunded. They are a disgrace.
Never ever will I order from them again.
It’s only a matter of time until they are shutdown, and I can’t wait.
Spread the word and save yourself (and everyone else’s) a whole lot of hassle and frustration.

I recently ordered two new collection sets and the website stated that they will be shipped between 10-15 days to Greece. I have to admit customer service is not the easiest to access but they were very polite, they took under consideration the fact that I wanted my order to arrive fast and they provided with the information asked. I was skeptical because of the bad reviews here that made me believe that the website was a scam, but this is not the case at all. I even sent an email implying that I don’t trust them (because of the reviews again and the fact that they didn’t respond always and quickly to emails and chat) but they responded very politely and they immediately provided the tracking number that I asked (package was already shipped) and everything arrived within a few days (less than 15). The products were beautiful and well made with attention to details. Elegant and unique designs with decent prices. I contacted them because I felt terrible for the way I acted in order to apologize and again they responded politely and we discussed the issue of customer support and they even shared the story of the company which I appreciated. I will buy again for sure and i think that if the company improves some minor issues they will be perfect.

It’s a pity there aren’t 0 stars.
This company should be investigated by the ACCC. They charge exorbitant prices and the quality of their clothes is TERRIBLE!
Customer service is non-existent. They are a bunch of scammers. Buy from Temu. Their products are a better quality and less than half the price.
Czarina is trying to compete with Camilla and there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER! Don’t buy from this company.

EDIT: Friday September 12 - after tagging the company in my social media, someone from an unknown number contacted me via WhatsApp, told me their fashion is “wearable art” that isn’t made in China in two days, told me I am “not right in the head”, dismissed my complaints, then blocked my phone number. I persisted with standard SMS outside WhatsApp, which garnered several more gaslighting responses. Then I finally got an email from Shopify to confirm my order was cancelled and refunded.

It should never, ever have taken so much time or caused so much stress to get it sorted out, but it is now, finally, and I’m very grateful to have my money back. If you are having issues getting your money refunded or with zero contact, I suggest tagging them in your Stories.

OP: I placed an online order for two $199 kaftans from Czarina. The following day I emailed a request to cancel the order and receive a refund. I followed up the next day. I have reached out via Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp and have not received any acknowledgement whatsoever. I have since read over 60 1 star reviews from others who have had a similar experience and never received their money back. I have lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trade and lodged a scam report with my bank.

The absolute worst company on the planet to deal with. I have ordered the dress over six weeks ago. The wedding I went to past and still no dress I have sent multiple emails Facebook messages and Instagram messages with a very little response.
DO NOT Buy from this company!!!!

Extremely poor customer service. I ordered an item more than 2 months ago, they do not provide updates for several days to queries and then only say we are working on it. Then when I ask for a refund completely ignore it. I still do not have either an update on delivery nor a refund. Very poor experience, will not be purchasing again .

I attended a charity luncheon event/ fashion and sales show hosted by the Czarina company in aid of Motor Neurone disease at the Intercontinental Hotel at Sanctuary cove. The tickets were $99 pp.
Our party of 4 were greeted at the door and then shown to our table. Two of our party were wearing Czarina dresses and two were not (although we were appropriately dressed for the occasion in very nice dresses.)

After approximately 20 mins or so seated at our table we were approached by one of the organisers who was very rude and told the two of us not wearing Czarina outfits that we were required to wear Czarina clothing. She then added that we could either buy a Czarina outfit and change in to it or we were to leave! She also informed us she was acting on direct instructions from the Owner of Czarina Nikki Bagadia. We left and were also told that they would not be refunding our ticket money!

Although I appreciate that using a charity event is good PR for a company and an ideal avenue to flog their clothing I have never attended a charity event that makes it a requirement to have to buy and wear their clothing in order to attend the event.

After reading customer reviews here of the horror experiences suffered in purchasing online with this company I thought other potential customers may be interested in my experience of how this company operates.

Ordered two items from Czarina after I saw my best friend in a Czarina kaftan.
Fast delivery and my kaftan and jumpsuit was exquisite. Vibrant colours, with stunning embellishments. The silk fabric felt so nice on my skin.
Unique pieces and perfect for Queensland weather.

This company is a scam.
They promote themselves as ethical fashion while they don’t pay suppliers and they ghost them.
Still waiting for over $10k invoice to be paid from few years ago - they did the same to other agencies they’ve worked with.
Think twice before buying from this un-ethical criminal company.

I purchased an item in December and have contacted them online to request an update on delivery. Every week I get a reply saying they oversold my item and are sourcing from a third party and promise I will receive the item by end of next week.
The next week I receive the same excuse and response that I will get my item by the end of next week.
They will not provide me with an Australian phone number to call. I only get these replies from them overnight so their customer service is obviously off shore.
Tonight they are promoting an online sale which still includes my “oversold item”.
This company is dishonest and we all should be reporting them to get this unacceptable business behavior shut down.

The most horrible experience ever….

No phone numbers work and if they do they don’t call you back… all Aust stores are closed down.. they lie all the time about everything…,they string you along… no one replies to emails and when they finally do they don’t address the questions you have, or resolve the problem!
They make false promises and don’t deliver… it took 5 months to get a refund and only because I was persistent!!! They try to wear you down so you just walk away!!
The worst service ever!!! Not an enjoyable experience… all they did was cause me stress…

At one stage I tried to get another order with my outstanding money owing, so I wouldn’t loose my money, but they wouldn’t send me a credit to use, so I couldn’t place an order, so I threatened to go to consumer affairs and I received a call and was told to deal with her.. So I tried to order through her and it was such a run around… she would say yes we can order it for you, but never put the order through and I had to keep contacting her week after week about putting my order through!?
Then after all that time they sent me a gift voucher to use, but I couldn’t use it at that stage, as I wanted to purchase the tulip kaftan in the longer style, so it was a special order that they agreed to do for me and they knew very well they had to put that order through for me, as I couldn’t do it online.
Have you ever heard anything more absurd??? I’ve never experienced such unprofessional and unethical service in my life.
So, I finally got a refund because I threatened to go to consumer affairs and go on tv to expose them, if the money was not in my account by the end of the week! So They gave me the refund!!
I can’t believe it had to go that far for them to do the right thing, which should have been done automatically and without asking in the first place.
I told them I would never shop there again!!
The lady I spoke to on the phone told me she kept getting the run around from the factory in India about my order and that she couldn’t authorise any refunds or credits and had to deal with the finance team to get it done… such an unorganised company… who is the customer supposed to talk to then, to get the correct customer service at czarina… I don’t know if she was passing the buck, or if she has been put in the deep end to just deal with the customers who dare to push back… but either way, it’s disgusting and unacceptable!
I went on their website to leave a review and they deleted the existing reviews, which weren’t good and removed that option!!! Gee I wonder why???
All the reviews I see now are the same as mine or worse, as many have not received their products or refunds. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!
I wish I looked at the reviews first, but I thought it was trust worthy being an Aust company that’s been around for a while!! I won’t make that mistake again!!

I have not yet heard from a manager or the owner to apologise, or to try to rectify (not give excuses) but to rectify this unacceptable experience I had with them!! They have no idea how to run a business or how to treat customers!!!
So now I will let everyone know about my horrific experience with them and try to deter anyone else from ever having to go through the same experience, by not shopping with CZARINA!!!

This is the worst experience I’ve had with online buying
They are very difficult to communicate with
There does not appear to be a contact number in Australia
I wanted a refund but was denied this as they had applied a discount to my purchase so I used part of the credit note and have now lost $84 because I didn’t use that from a$260 initial purchase-they have stolen this from me
A complete rip off company

Others have reported the owner to the a ACCC I suggest others put in complaints
The owner of Czarina is the most dishonest person I have had dealings with she has been ripping people off for years.
I placed a pre order a very expensive kaftan and long kimono well nearly $2000 when they arrived they where miles to big so I returned via Australia post due to price I paid insurance.
After weeks at first she replied with pitiful excuse we I had not received around.
Very long story short she eventually cut me off and no refund I could not even get store credit. It was life fraud and theft.
There were so many complaints on her Facebook page she had to remove them.
She appears to have taken down her social media pages.

I feel sorry for anyone who has has dealings this criminal.

Buyer beware you cannot contact company if you want a return or if faulty. Do not buy from this company

Have taken my order. No delivery! No email response! Yet this company is still offering products! Still selling! How can they get away with this?!
