Dave & Adam's Card World Avis 

hello, first of all i would give a 3.5 but overall a descent shop... with a lot of cards,memorabillia, ect. and above all they are trust worthy. but here are some things they just have to improve on. first of all there patronage is
just above what is acceptable, and the knowledge is just nonexistent! there is 1 guy who knows hes stuff, but on days he is not there, they just have no one too replace him. and for me someone who just started collecting, i think it would be nice if the actual store who sells me these cards could price them at the spot..

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE... NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. PACKAGE CAME DESTROYED

So far have placed 2 orders. One said it would ship the next day and now has been 7 days going on day 8 with no order in sight. Contacted their "customer service" and have yet to hear back even an acknowledgement that they even received it. The second order was supposed to go same day and has sat as well. Avoid buying if you want service or quickness.

Dave & Adams has always treated me with quality, honesty and authenticity! Honestly one of the few places that I feel comfortable purchasing from. I'll keep buying from them and spreading the good news because I know what I've personally experienced as a buyer! Leaving bad reviews about a company because of a CARRIER mistake is pretty ridiculous, and sounds like some of these people are just upset they didn't get big hits, but that's life. I've never had a bad experience with this company and I'm a lifetime, happy buyer!

Just all rather odd they’re supposed to sell sports cards and I wanted to buy some, I purchased over a $1000 worth of different products, some soccer boxes a couple of basketball etc and I was really pleased with my order, I got a confirmation they had received my order but then nothing! Days went past and still nothing so I emailed customer service who never replied, pleading with them to find out what was going on.

The next day no direct communication but the order on my account said cancelled by a customer service representative and to contact them to find out why. Which I tried to contact but heard absolutely nothing! I had to get on to my bank and they managed to get the funds returned. But unfortunately I had my funds tied up for a while, which meant I couldn’t purchase elsewhere and lost the opportunity to buy a couple of things I wanted.

To irritate me even more they constantly email me to buy products to which I unsubscribed but yes they keep coming. I can only imagine Dave and Adam are a couple of Mickey Mouse operators with a website that haven’t a clue what they’re doing hence this review and others.

Very reliable and good selection of products. Member program available gives decent discounts. Selling to DA is very easy as well and there buying prices are competitive. Price guarantee is really nice, it's rare to have a store automatically refund you when they lower the price on something you preordered already.

Fast shipping and products came in Topps orginal factory seal.

The parcel was packaged good and reached me without any damage what so ever.

First order with this company and it will not be my last.

I've been buying from Dave & Adams for 10 years. I can't believe these 1 star reviews. Blaming D&A for UPS errors, import taxes, being asked to use Pay Pal and not pulling the monster hit they where hoping for. The life of dealing in the card business is full of novice whiners. However, if rated on how they run their own business, try to take care of customers and most of all comparative prices, Dave & Adams is 5 Stars Plus! Just finished another big order and was reading these reviews. I had to speak up and I will be back for more. Whodat7030!

Asshats and scalpers, I wouldn't waste your time or money. Crazy they have a new tcg and these crackhead are charging almost triple msrp!

These re-packaged Hit Parade products are a scam. The best hits are sold on eBay and what's left is sold as Hit Parade. At best you get some player from the 4th line.

I ordered a box from them on a Sunday and paid for overnight shipping. I estimated my box would be here on Tuesday. I see on Monday night that nothing was done with my order. I call on Tuesday morning and they tell me that because I used a credit card, they would not place my order. The charge sat on my account for two days before I had to call to see what is going on. They said the only way I can purchase is through wire or paypal? What large company has these kind of barriers set up to prevent people from purchasing their products? When speaking with customer service they were not helpful at all to try to come up with a resolution. Instead they rudely kept saying the same line over and over again... "We can only except wire or paypal for this order". I would highly recommend if you spend any kind of real money on cards to not purchase here. They make it very difficult. They sell high end products but good luck with being able to buy them.

I ordered two boxes on the 22nd of December the money was taken from my account its the 26th now and on thier site after I paid for three day shipping it still says payment processing doesn't show its been pulled nothing just reviewed I wrote several emails as I paid an Xtra 2.50cents to have packages shipped on first morning but no response they say that if you spend 100 or more you get a free gift I wasn't given the option I understand Christmas and all but a quick shout out like hey we are running behind something would have been nice from reading all of the horror stories on here I'm just hoping I get an untouched factorysealed box or my packages perio. It has been a huge disappointment getting back into the hobby to be put off a d not k ow when your going to get your packages I excitedly looked over thier website for months and finally was able to pull some money together and nothing and from what everyone on here says they won't make up for thier mistakes so I'm kind if lost at this moment really want those boxes but what if they are taking so long because they are opening and revealing them something to think about before you buy from these guys I'll update my review after I have recieved boxes and opened then to let hy

Bad customer service. Purchased a box of cards and was charged the wrong amount, and they tell me everything looks good on their end.

Ordered some nba and pokemon tcg boxes. First, I had to pay more than 20% import tax to ups, so price wise was not really cheap. Then the ups driver delivered my order to a neighbour by mistake I guess, and I fortunately managed to find out where and get it by that same day. After that, 3 items were missing and the charizard upc that I paid a premium to get was ripped on one side, so not the ideal state I was imagining it would arrive.
And now starts the most frustrating part, as dacaworld don't reply your email. I am in the UK and yes, it's been more than a week with no reply whatsoever from them. So I guess I am out of pocket for the items I didn't receive, just roughly 25% of my order, and not even an explanation from them. Just rather buy on Ebay next time.

Searched boxes. I ordered 1986, 1988, and 1989 donruss full boxes. Between all 3 boxes I didn’t get one single key rookie and hardly any secondary rookies, and puzzle pieces were missing from packs. Their response was just “it’s not guaranteed to get the rookies we know these boxes haven’t been tampered”. Avoid at all costs

After reading several bad reviews, I was worried about my order. Bought some Hobby Boxes and they shipped to Switzerland within 9 days. (Most of the time it was held back by the customs so it would have arrived way earlier). Everything arrived in great condition and no boxes were opened/resealed and all cards were in good condition. Prices are also great if you compare them with Europe.

Customer service was terrible. If douche-nozzles was a company, it would be this one. Never shop here. Other sites have better prices and don't reseal their product.

Ordered for 4500$ on Pokemon TCG items, more than 50% of the items were damaged. After an insane amount of back and forth communication and me having to send them 60 pictures they decided that because the items are old it's normal for them to have 'wear'. They had dents, cuts and other terrible damages that significantly lower the value of the products.

They packed it very poorly as well but I am sure they were already damaged when they shipped them. Do NOT order from them unless you do not care about the condition of your items. They will not offer any compensation.

Dont Buy Here. I purchased a couple hundred dollars worth of cards from this company and the majority of them arrived bent. So I jumped through there hoops. Sent photos and the like. Only to have them tell me that its normal for cards to come bent and messed up. And they won't do anything about it. I've bought cards before. They don't all arrive in bent shape. They don't care about the customer! Plain and simple! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. BUY ESLEWHERE
