DO NOT PURCHASE CHOCOLATE CAKE FROM DAIRY QUEEN. I am very much disappointed from their chocolate cake .We purchased chocolate cake on March 22,2026 , firstly it was very hard ,my daughter was not able to cut it then I placed it in fridge on the very next day the the whole cake was melted in the fridge .
Be Aware
Melty Blizzard and slow service
I ordered a classic Blizzard, but it was practically liquid by the time I got it, which was a huge disappointment. The line moved very slowly and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed, making for a frustrated visit.
Disturbing diary queen case.
I never thought a simple trip to Dairy Queen would turn into something I still can’t fully explain. It started normal—the bright menu boards, the hum of the soft-serve machine, the cold sweetness of a towering vanilla Blizzard in my hands. The first bite was perfect, almost too perfect, creamy and freezing against my teeth. But halfway through, I noticed the ice cream tasted sharper, colder than usual, like biting into winter itself. My fingers tingled, then numbed, even though I was inside. When I glanced at my reflection in the window, my lips had turned a faint shade of blue. I laughed it off at first, blaming the cold, but the color deepened, spreading across my cheeks like frost creeping over glass. The air around me felt heavy and chilled, and every breath came out in a visible mist. My hair stiffened as if brushed with snow, and my footsteps left faint icy patterns on the tile floor. It wasn’t painful—just unsettling, like my body was quietly rewriting itself into something colder, distant, crystalline. By the time I stumbled outside, the summer heat didn’t touch me. I stood there, skin shimmering pale blue, feeling strangely powerful and completely alone, as if I had traded warmth for something sharp and eternal. I went in craving dessert, but I walked out feeling like I belonged to a frozen kingdom no one else could see.
Worst experience ever buying a gift…
Worst experience ever buying a gift card as a Christmas present. Bought a $50CDN giftcard for my niece and nephew and it never arrived. The website didn't have any tracking info. I've spent hours calling and emailing but they just keep transferring me to different help desks and now I just received the original generic response email they sent me 5 weeks ago. Going mad as noone will help me and just go oing round in loops despite sending my full receipt code etc. So frustrated!

Mind blown…
I try to be positive leaving reviews about different businesses. But this time... it blew my mind how stupid a person can be. We drive up to the Dairy Queen on Regent Avenue in Winnipeg MB. There was no one ahead of us. We order 1 banana split. Drive up to the window and pay $9.50. The girl takes our money than hands me a blizzard. I tell her I ordered a banana split. She than said she thought I ordered a blizzard. She is the same person who took the order.
I spent $30, 2 of 4 items Items wrong!
I spent $30 and 2 of the 4 items I ordered were not right. I ordered 2 blizzards, both were supposed to be made with chocolate soft serve and have chocolate syrup mixed in as well as the candy I wanted. There was only the candy in both, no syrup and they used vanilla soft serve in them.

there was no ice for the pop machine so the pop was warm there was no coupons for the free sundae she wrote it on the receipt and my friend ordered her original chicken sandwich with regular bacon they brought her a cheeseburger instead and when they replaced it they brought her a chicken sandwich with spicy bacon on a bun that fell apart will not recommend not this restaurant
Dairy Queen on Prospect
Dairy Queen on Prospect, Helena montana. A 10inch ice cream cake is marked at 41$ in store. I placed my order thru DoorDash, however I picked it up myself. Thru DoorDash I was charged 55.35!!! Almost 15$ increase in cost. I asked the manager and staff why I was charged so much when the cake is clearly only supposed to be 41$. They claimed DoorDash is the one who marked it up. When I called that bullshit, they then said they are charged 30% (?) and have to make their money (according to the girl who works there.. who also claims she makes all the ice cream cakes herself 🙄, while also admitting some cakes are bulk ordered premade lol) back so of course they charge more on the DoorDash app. They fail to inform customers of this price gouging difference prior to purchase and do not inform anyone of this massive difference in prices. They went from blaming DoorDash and calling them liars to admitting they are marking up the cost of things on the DD ap to make money back. In my state there are no major extra taxes added. At most the cake would have come to 43ish dollars. They’re extorting money out of customers and not allowing customers the option of getting a refund when they get caught trying to rob people. Be up front about the cost differences and notify customers BEFORE they pay one cost over the other. Cause door dash doesn’t charge ya’ll THAT much more for my order being passed along thru them when I drove to pick it up myself.
Shitty DQ. Shitty grasp of ethical code. Shitty staff on every level who refuse to acknowledge the inappropriate price gouging.

I tried to order at the drive thru an DC the girl told me to wait and let her get my coupon order at the windows. So I ordered the restof my order. When I got t o the window they had the part of my order that she let me order ready. So the rest wasn't even started.I asked her why and she said she couldnt do do the coupons at the drive thru because she couldn't remember the numbers. I was very aggravated and just drove off. She didn't even try to say I'm sorry.Or fix anything. Half my food would have been cold. DAWANDA SEALS
Dairy Queen in Thompson Manitoba
Dairy Queen in Thompson Manitoba. The burgers are frozen family foods burgers. They are not the same when they first opened. They had good burgers in the beginning but now you can tell that they’re the premade cheap frozen burgers that you can get at any store.
Small? More like baby food size
I ordered a small sundae and was surprised to receive a portion about the size of a baby food jar. A flat beverage lid could have been used instead of the dome lid. There was only a small hint of sauce and a few chopped nuts, which made it feel like very little effort went into making it a sundae. Not worth almost $5 at all. Additionally, learning that the military discount is no longer offered was very disappointing. Cliffdale Rd Dairy Queen, Fayetteville, NC
where ever I travel my car stops at DQ…
where ever I travel my car stops at DQ as if on auto pilot. Stopped to purchase birthday cake and decided we needed to eat lunch first, so why not eat there!
After enjoying lunch ($18.68) we selected our cake (44.99). At home tried to scan reward receipts (we had lunch and THEN purchased cake) and were told we reached our daily limit. Guess next time we purchase a cake (about 4 per year) we will stop first at Arby's to eat. So careful about making mor than one purchase at DQ. (They also now penalize customers since billions of pennies still are in osculation). Love DQ, just be careful!
Not the Same Anymore
My husband and I ordered chicken burgers to go. When we got home and started to eat them the chicken was so thin and tough my husband almost
chocked. I tried to cut my chicken with a knife and it was so tough i wouldn't even try to eat it it. Since new owners have taken over Digby Dairy Queen, NS, has gone to hell in a hand basket.
Millard NE Dairy Queen
Fast service minus in Millard store there malts were runny and not thick like it should be
4 year grill chef
I used to work there myself, stuff laying on the floor in the freezer's boxes on the floor boxes left open in the freezer, not closed properly. I don't I items put in the wrong place and strode all over the shelves. Inside the freezer. The cooler, some things were left open and not labeled or dated no dates or labels on any of the items inside the refrigerato raiders., infestation of cockroaches, mice flies around the food during service sitting in over all the food where it's served from on the line to\n Ps up there, air conditioner returns. Had unreasonable amount of dust on them.I would not eat there myself.I worked there for a long time. They help me out a lot, no.
T the best place to go I would go elsewhere.
The only thing I will come there for is the ice cream. I thought this company was better than that.

Otawa, IA
Otawa, Iowa just off hwy 29. October 12th., 2:30pm. Sent my wive into place an order at the counter, while I walked my dogs. She came out frustrated as she tried to order at the counter but 3 young individuals with DQ shirts on were too busy fooling around than they were worried about taking her order. I calmed her down enough to talk her into trying the drive through. After waiting 2 minutes at the drive-up speaker before anyone even acknowledged us, we placed our order. About $21. We then proceeded to the window but the car ahead of us, that was sitting for quite some time, took so long we decided that the food wasn't worth waiting for. We proceeded to drive another hour and 20 minutes to eat at home.

U want food fast tast good ? Well than step up to the big DQ. It’s the best
I feel like not going to DQ anymore
I’m honestly really disappointed and pretty pissed.
I went with my mom recently, and as soon as we walked in, the place reeked of sweat. It was gross. We tried to push past it and still ordered food, but that was a mistake too—the food was absolutely terrible. I usually come here for a quick bite or a Blizzard as a treat, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering ever coming back to DQ. It’s not worth it anymore.

I've been going here since I was a kid and now I take my own kids her! Gotta love this place.
