Love the custom builder
Love the custom builder! Plenty of material, color and pattern choices.
Wish I’d have done a little better measuring. Size is ok but one of my wind flap snaps pops open when sitting. Should have sized up for a bit more room in the middle and then adjusted length & sleeves.
Should have got detachable sleeves.
Gator print body and shoulders are very stiff and will take a lot of time before breaking in. The smoother leathers may be more supple.
My additional vents and pockets add more layers of leather too making it stiffer.

Love that you went deep into the Custom Builder—that’s exactly what it’s meant for.
Thanks for the detailed feedback as well. A couple of things you pointed out are actually very common with custom leather builds:
Snap popping when seated usually comes from a slightly tight mid-section fit; sizing up the torso while adjusting sleeve/length separately is exactly the right approach in hindsight.
Detachable sleeves are a smart call for flexibility—especially for riding comfort in changing weather.
Gator print leather stiffness is expected; embossed and textured hides (like gator-style finishes) naturally take longer to break in compared to smoother cowhide.
Extra vents and pockets do add additional layering, which can increase initial stiffness until the leather fully softens with use.
Overall, sounds like you got a solid custom piece—just needs some wear-in time and a slightly different sizing strategy next round.

I paid for 2nd day air and got 2nd day air. I used to ride but it’s been down too many times. Now it’s fashion and 1-size up is the rule. It was turning heads and did as intended at two airports. I’ll buy again. Quality is phenomenal.

I like the jacket fits great in the shoulders and arms the waist is too small. If I were to go larger on the jacket it would then be too big in chest arms and shoulders.
