David from Dashcam initially installed my unit a couple of years ago however as I’m now about to sell my car I needed the cam removing. I have a car that came with a front dashcam installed and the wiring for the rear already there but no rear camera. Once I got the rear camera from Nextbase, I couldn't work out how to fit it. From an e-mail enquiry to dashcams.co.uk to having it installed in 3 days. I e-mailled about what bracket would fit my car and received a prompt reply, so I ordered the bracket which appeared 2 days later. A quick 5 minute install process and hey presto I had a rear view dashcam again.

Brilliant piece of engineering—better than a rear window camera and avoids the hassle of running cables through the boot.

I lost the bracket for my dashcam, needed a replacement, searched nextbase, always out of stock, then eBay but a 2nd hand one between £30/£50, rip off. I came across this one from dashcams.co.uk , I ordered it, delivered in 3 days, easy to fit, very snug. It works well with the camera, it doesn’t move about like the original, the nextbase mount ,every time I opened tailgate, the cable would move the camera about knocking the view around , it was irritating, but the one I’ve just bought is not connected to tailgate but onto edge of head lining/ceiling of car, you can tuck cable behind window rubber. I am impressed about this bracket, it’s a good purchase.

Having looked at various companies / reading numerous dash cam reviews I had a conversation with David from Autocams Ltd as to the huge range / different makes and types on offer.
