Door excellent and looks lovely in a slate wall. My one complaint is that I was led to believe delivery would be in 2 working days when it actually took nearly a week. No voice contact, explanation or delivery date given when I queried it. Difficult then to employ a carpenter.

Glad to hear you are happy with your new door Margaret. As stated in our delivery section of the website we work to a 14 working day lead time (obviously this could be as little as 2 - 3 working days however the majority of orders are on site within 7)
You will have received your delivery time slot in your Live Van Tracker that is sent by email and text message to the details you provide on your order, and if you have any future enquiries our Live Chat is ran by humans and available evenings and weekends also. All the best!

Got there in the end
I would like to give 5stars, but original order was damaged and incomplete. Probably the couriers fault. To their credit new door and frame was delivered in 48hrs and the quality of the door looks excellent. Yet to be installed. You can only email and message Davedoors and phone number given goes to voicemail. Courier co are contactable by phone who I spoke to to sort out re delivery. For expensive orders a working phone number for me would merit 5 Stars, as product looks great. However resolving the damaged first delivery was a bit frustrating so a final 4stars seems fair.

Great to hear that we are getting your issue resolved quckly, however dissappointing to see that this translates as a one star review due to the damaging nature as these remaining online permanently.
We dont have any record of you contacting us directly regarding this, however you have done the right thing this morning by arranging this with our distributors who will be responsible for correcting your order.
We can only apologies that your door was damaged and your frame not received, they should never have attempted to deliver an incomplete order and certainly no damaged items. We will inform them of your complaint and are happy to hear that you received an apology for this, and glad to hear that they are working hard to correct this mistake.
A revisal of your review would be much appreciated and should you have any further issues moving forward always be sure to contact us via Live chat or Email so that we can over see your exchange and redelivery, and make note of these issues against your order. Thanks
Awful
I cancelled an order placed in error. The cancellation email was sent the day after the order was placed. As there was no reply, I wrote on two further occasions. Still no reply and the door was delivered today and signed for by a builder who did not have the authority to do so.
Good doors but let down 100% by absent customer service.
Perhaps the warning sign with the company name is a giveaway ("don't be an a...hole ").

Our Chat facilty is Live 24/7 and human ran, we also have a 24 hour response via email, message log on your account Login and the contact form to get in touch.
All delivery information, processing and tracking links are sent to the 'Delivery Details' entered at time of order eg Delivery address and contact number etc It seems that this has all been arranged with your site Builder, if you would like to get in touch with us directly (this page and site is owned by Trustpilot and therefore limit access)
we can look into any orders that you have on our own system. Thanks
Not interested in selling doors
Tried to get in touch with this company to ask a question and order doors but it seems impossible. Discouraged from phoning them unless I already have an order, we emailed from two different email addresses but no reply. Tried chat online but it wasn't working. Sent message through the website and got a reply but no interest in answering the question. Just said my email went to junk. That was it. No further contact or reply to my question.
It's a puzzle why and how they're online with a doors website. Some lucky people must manage to order a door but I'm blowed if I can work it out.

Less than 2 weeks from time of order to delivery, door is fantastic and solid, brilliant workmanship. Delivery driver was brilliant called just before arrival and really helpful. Highly recommend Dave's Doors.

The oak stable door I bought has just been installed after a lengthy renovation, it is absolutely gorgeous very solid and makes a wonderful addition to the renovation of my 1850’s cottage. Could not be happier. Totally recommend

Poor quality, i would not use again…
Late being delivered but was in time for fitting after chasing. Door furniture supplied is very poor quality with the coating coming away after only a few months use. The doors were given two coats of undercoat and three coats of exterior paint but it has done nothing but split and warp. I can't in all conscience recommend this company. It wasn't cheap and the quality is very poor.
