I have nothing but positive words to say about Debt Stoppers. They honestly have step by step provided knowledgeable and thorough legal advise, quick responses, without hesitation to answer any questions I have had since I started my bankruptcy. The best part was that they did all this and filed before collecting even a dime. Sylvia is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend using Debt Stoppers to everyone that feels like there is no hope.

I am a actual client, bankruptcy filed 01/28/2019 and case completed 05/11/2021. I never got responses from office for questions or concerns. I learned about second bankruptcy course and other issues I learned it on bankruptcy forums. My case was discharged on 08/03/2021, still haven’t received overpayments, and no response from attorney after several emails and calls. Save your money greedy no morals bankruptcy mill.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ! ! ! In the beginning they provide “professional and friendly” services but once they have your signature and a few payments...it’s all downhill from there. They don’t care if you had a stroke and have medical bills mountain high. All they care about is getting their money. Once I tried getting in contact with them before my payment was due to inform them I would only be able to make a partial payment (I went from making $15.50/ hr 40+ hours/week to making $12.00 less than 20 hours/week). No one answered the phone nor got back to me in time. Joe Majeski was very rude and spoke to me as if I meant not even a grain of salt. They’ll tell you that you’re not trying when you’ve explained your situation. I informed them I was in between jobs and my pay had decreased. They did not care. Oh by the way, I am STILL responsible for tickets they LIED and said would go into my case. Do not waste your time or hard earned money with them. It’s not worth it. They don’t understand that life happens, people lose jobs, pay decreases and it’s a pandemic!

This is the worst experience I've had. You can't get anyone on the phone. I received a phone call yesterday stating that my 341 meeting was canceled because they're still reviewing my files then I get a text message that my meeting was at 10am in Schaumburg but I was told the meeting would be via zoom.

Lack of communication...ive been calling and texting everyone I've spoken to since my consultation. I understand they are busy but the point is to relieve some stress by getting help. Very stressful that I can't ask questions or anything as this is my first time doing this or even reaching out to a debt agency. I guess we just play the waiting game....

I filled a chapter13 back in 2017 I was told i was gonna to be in the chapter13 for three years however i make it into my 3rd year i find out an extra year has been added on meaning i will not be done until 2021 of October however i sent in a money order to my trustee and they're telling me they have not received it i been calling my. Attorney to report this issue no call back yet they blaming everything on Covid:19 i feel i if ive been ripped off ive invested to much money into this chapter 13 for us to be in the middle of a pandemic and someone telling you they haven't received a money order you mailed off to them 3 weeks ago there is a lot of things i could've have done with my 540 dollars.

Debtstoppers started out as a great resource for us. However on our first hearing we received a continuance due to some errors on their part. I understand that with everything they do that it is easy to overlook or make mistakes. What I don't understand is why Daniel Huang, or Eugene Feldman wont return my calls for an explanation or an update of where we stand and how we are progressing. I still believe that this is the best company to go thru, but then again I am an optimist by heart. Still waiting on a call back and my first hearing was December 2. Be polite, be professional and call me back.

Was contacted by Daniel and all issues have been satisfactorily resolved. Case is proceeding nicely. I greatly appreciate the sincerity of the response from Debtstoppers.

Go with a different law firm! I was told on multiple occasions that "an attorney" would call me back! The girl that answer's the phone didn't even give the name of the damn attorney handling my case! I received a notice from the court indicating they are going to dismiss my case because of the incompetence of this office! Was told in May that I would have my court date via Zoom and it still hasn't happened and we're going into July! I really wish I would have went with Peter Francis Geraci like my family told me to!

Would strongly recommend them. Charges are on the higher side but they get the assignment done to your satisfaction.
