Movers were great, but company over booked
If I were rating on the movers alone it would 5 stars, but the movers were 5 hours late because of an over schedule. This meant that they were there at packing/moving us until 1:30 AM. Again, the movers did everything great, but it was just so delayed that it was so late in the morning and we have a young baby at the house that we had to navigate with.
Did not compensate for my lost bike !
Horrible experience ! DONOT USE THIS MOVERS !! If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I would have done that.
Warning : If during the move, any of your items is lost, you WILL NOT get compensation for that !
I had booked a move with Dedicated Van Lines for the end of July 2023.
On the day of move, they sent a third party movers called "R&M transportation for the move". In the transit, they lost my 300$+ bike. When R&M transportation delivered by stuff, they mentioned that it would have been misplaced the bike during the transit and they would try to relocate it as soon as they can and if they are not able to do that in a week, contact the movers and if needed please file a claim for it ! So I did exactly what was asked for ! However after submitting the claim, R&M claimed that there was no missing bike and asked me to contact Dedicated Van lines for the missing item which I did.
It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation , but they hardly reply !
The last response from Ryan Gold from Dedicated Van lines on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them.
I have attached the screenshot of the email communications
Before the move, dedicated van lines will be constantly in touch with regarding the move, their customer service agents would be excellent. But once the move has been completed, they will not respond to any of your queries !
Also "R&M transportation" are not professional movers. On the day of the move, just 2 people initially showed up for the move and then they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professional at all ! During the move, one of those helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing the TV ! I was in total shock how can someone do that. Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged !
I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move ! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!!
DONOT BOOK THIS MOVERS !
Moving Brokerage Firm NOT a Moving Company
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This coming fraudulently represents itself as a long-distance moving company when they are a moving brokerage firm. They own/operate 0 moving trucks. They brokered my move out to a company called Witty Mover and Delivery and it was the move from hell.
The review I posted for Witty Mover and Delivery is pasted below. This was truly a horrific experience. This company should be shut down.
My move was brokered out to this company from Dedicated Van Lines, a company that misrepresents itself as long-distance movers. Relocating from Pennsylvania to New Mexico with this company was hands down the most egregious moving experience of my life. I do not know how to capture the level of dysfunction and fraudulent business practices fully but I shall try. They are the worst: 1. they doubled the cost of my move, 2. they destroyed and/or didn't bring ~$6k worth of my belongings, 3. my boxes were riddled with rodent feces, 4. they were ~2 weeks late, 5. when I called to get an updated delivery estimate their phone numbers were coming back disconnected and I thought all of my property was stolen for 24-48 hours, 6. it took 6 months for them to finally respond to my property damage claims which only happened after I began consulting plaintiff attorneys and threatened them with litigation, 7. the settlement they offered covered ~0.05% of the value of the property they damaged, destroyed, and didn't deliver. Basically, you are better off using anyone but this company. Additionally, under no circumstances book a move through Dedicated Van Lines, they are equally as fraudulent as Witty Movers and Delivery.
Extra hidden cost and ruined furniture
Wow where do I begin? If I could give 0 stars I would. Initially I was assured by Mike that since I recently had knee surgery the full pack of the house would take care of packing up the house as well as moving. Well thank God we did some packing of our own. Not only did they not pack half of our stuff but couldn’t fit it all on the truck so my husband and I were forced to rent a U-Haul in the middle of the night and packed our entire basement that was left behind by the moving company. They were an hour late for pickup and an hour and a half late for drop off. They ended up charging us 5k when the original estimate was 3200. They ruined our dining room table when they were reassembling it because the guy was listening to music and couldn’t hear the screws going through our table. They left the parts of both the washer and dryer at the old house so my dad had to go out and buy new parts and hook up my washer and dryer at my new house. What a disappointing company.

This company went above and beyond to help me and everyone was helpful and kind.
Moving to storage
I'm waiting for my refund as you did absolutely nothing.
You were to move and pack my furniture and take too storage.
A guy came and checked my house to see what needed to be moved. Levy, He told me that I needed to pay an additional $400. Then called me back and added an additional $2000 . At that point they did nothing. I'm on SOCIAL SECURITY
Please send me my deposits.
Thank you,
Karen Sawczuk

I attempted to cancel my appointment…
I attempted to cancel my appointment since I will no longer be moving and they never got back to me. I was messaging with one of their agents and was told they would call me and it’s been 4 days now and haven’t received a call.
These people are scammers
These people are scammers! Don't give them a single penny!
Here's what happened:
1) I was sent a "contract" for 4 people for 15 hours of labor each across two days - 60 man hours total - with the understanding that it could be more. This was a big job, and I have done such moves before with other companies and the paperwork appeared legitimate. Oddly, I was never asked to actually sign this document beyond providing mom email ass, nor was I ever provided a final copy after I paid my 10%"deposit." This should have been my first warning.
2) I had to give 3 different forms of payment, not because my cards were being declined, but because I was called by 3 different people ("Mike," "Erik," and "Carl") who all said that "the boss didn't like that other card and would I mind giving up another number?" This should have been my second clue. If I wasn't currently undergoing chemotherapy, I would have called everything off at this point.
3) I was assured that your workers were all licensed, bonded, W2 employees of Dedicated Van Lines who would be arriving with a moving truck, dollies, straps, furniture pads, and tools for assembling furniture. Imagine my surprise when the boyfriend of my kindergarten teacher's youngest daughter pulled up in his beater Camry and told me that he'd been contacted _that morning_ via his CRAIGSLIST AD and told that he could have $300 if he pretended to be the "crew boss" for the day! While he was telling me this, "Carl" was blowing up his phone, so I answered it and demanded to know what the hell was going on. "Carl" stumbled a bit, but promised me that three more "big guys" were on their way. NOPE. Instead, two skinny college kids rocked up in a busted Jeep and said that they also were contacted by "Carl" via THEIR Craigslist Ad and were promised TWO jobs that day: mine for 3 hours for $100, and another across town for $150.
4) I initiated a chargeback -BECAUSE I HAD TO RENT MOVING EQUIPMENT FROM UHAUL AND BEG MY SICK MOM AND DAD TO HELP INSTEAD OF GETTING THE PROFESSIONAL MOVERS I WAS PROMISED.
5) Instead of just accepting that they had lost this round, Mike/Eric/Carl (I'm pretty sure at this point that it's just one dude down in Burbank spoofing local-to-you phone numbers) had his girlfriend call and pretend to be their office manager. She "just wanted to know why I found my moving experience so unsatisfactory!" Perhaps unsurprisingly, when I related the above to her, she blocked my number.
6) Hilariously, they sent me this request for feedback, which is *also* going to the BBB, and my state AG, who's office runs my state's Fraud Commission. And since one of my brothers is married to the AG's daughter, I think I have a good chance of getting my money back.
The moral of this story? Keep your big city hustles out of hill country, kids. It's better for you if you keep on thinking of us as "the flyovers."
Will sell you to another company who breaks and steals your stuff and doubles the quote
Can I just say what didn't go wrong? Being lied to that Dedicated would be delivering our stuff on their truck and just our stuff. Then the night before all of the sudden the truck is stuck in NY so he had to hire his best buddy who has great ratings. Ummmm no because you can't even find a website on them. Lost so many items including a $500 painting because we made the mistake the of saying it was expensive and one of a kind - guess stole it to sell it. Missing huge top of desk, leather coat, 2 fabric bed rails, coats, backpacks and ALMOST all of our furniture and goods were damaged!!!! Mike Levy said let us wrap everything so ok, guys who showed up charged $300 extra to do so (Quality Moving Services Inc.) and charged another $2600 or so on top of that. Let's just say they wrapped our furniture in plastic trash bags which broke through and scratched and damaged almost everything! Boxes were crushed - dropped and tried to tape back together. BEWARE and please use someone else to save yourself from this awful headache and stress. Oh and when I found out Mike sold us to Quality, I immediately wanted full insurance but oh wait, no he couldn't do that because too late or some BS. The truck that picked up took our stuff to NJ to be loaded on a Mayflower truck with who knows how many other household goods. A person's WORST NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!
My brother had the worst experience…
My brother had the worst experience ever with them. I couldn't believe the damage when I arrived at his apartment! Mike Levy told him that he was not a broker and that his stuff would be on a 26' truck. Last minute, he said the truck was "stuck" in NY and couldn't get to PA so he was having Quality Movers pick up the stuff. Still said that his stuff would be the only stuff on the truck which was a complete lie. It came in a Mayflower huge tractor trailer with bungees holding everything up. Oh and to promise the stuff would be there in 5 days - didn't happen! He is missing many items including pieces to his bed so couldn't put that together and so much was broken. Boxes completely smashed and furniture not wrapped whatsoever but he had to pay an additional $300 for this!!! Price went from $3600 to about $6200 because he sold the service to Quality Movers. BEWARE!!!!!!! He is a broker and will not have your stuff on his own truck with just your stuff but will tell you that to get your business. During move out day, nobody could reach him to let him know what was happening - hide because he knew what he did to him! How does anyone live like this knowing you caused so much harm to someone's mental state and belongings?! Please do yourself a favor and go with another company!!!
The worst company ever! Deserve a zero rating!
The worst company ever!! Broken and missing furniture!!!Mike Levy will lie and say he’s not a broker but he is. Will tell you they will only be using their truck and only your stuff on it. Lie! Sold us to Quality Movers last minute. Will give you a day to be delivered and lie bc he has no control over it bc he sells you to another company who then sells you again. Incurred about another $3000 more than his quote!! Will tell you not to pack your stuff bc they will…lie bc so many things didn’t get wrapped but got a huge up charge for their so called “packing”…basically everything I own has been broken in some way! Missing items such as pieces of my bed. Just reordered a new bed for $600! Folded my mattress in half and now crushed in the middle. Boxes turned upside down and stuff in them crushed. Had he been honest, I would have never gone with Dedicated! Promises after promises! Doesn’t respond to texts or calls the day of pick up to discuss the extra $3000 when he said “I’m your personal go to so call me with any issues” and then hides from texts/calls all day when you need him. Degrading too to some of my texts! Beware!!! I don’t write reviews but this was necessary so someone else doesn’t go through this! I’d be happy to share my texts from him and pictures of my broken stuff.Do not go with Dedicated or Quality Movers unless you want your stuff broken or missing!!!
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Mike Levy lied about everything. Said he wasn’t a broker, said he had his own truck when it was a uhaul rental, said my stuff would be there Wednesday didn’t arrive until the Monday after and I was charged $2000 extra. Worst moving company ever.
Absolutely worthless Company does companies a joke?
Absolutely worthless Company, Mike, Levi and Sharon people that work for this company who you’re supposed to be able to contact and communicate with do not return phone calls do not return messages. If I was you, I would never do business with this company they give you a quote that is accurate and then when they show up to pick up everything, then you gotta pay extra when they show up then there’s if you have to go upstairs is a huge amount for every step that they have to take to go upstairs. they don’t tell you about what happens if you have shuttle huge extra cost . if they can’t pull right up next to your apartment or house This company is a joke stay away from them they give you a big sales pitch on how much they want to make you happy and they are there seven days a week 24 hours a day lies lies lies
Would recommend.
Michael and his mover/driver are great. Miguel was awesome. Everything arrived in great shape. The all team was very responsive, and quoted a fair price. Unlike many other companies in North Idaho. I would highly recommend them.
All Items Damaged WORST Moving Company
Initial quote and promise to get the deposit. Day before move, they doubled my quote bait and switch. Missed move day, causing more time off of work, and day of move wanted to charge me another couple of thousand. Careless on wrapping, and disgruntled mover. Packed a coiled mattress rolled up, damaged. 75 inch tv, broken. Very bad job on wrapping furniture, all came damaged. Didn't wrap coffee table, damaged. I paid extra for packing, they didn't do the full job and for clothes threw it all in a box. Stopped communication and won't respond in transits or trying to file claim on damaged items. Hard to deal with customer service, they are very untrustworthy and doing dirty business. This company is NOT reputable and did a terrible job from start to delivery. Moves are stressful enough, this one will make your move experience the worst and I highly recommend to use another company.
Our service rep was extremely…
Our service rep was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was also very friendly. The prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this company for anyone who is moving
Worst Experience
When the mover arrived, he took pictures of my items and proceeded to tell me there would be an additional $600 charge for my items because I had more than what was mentioned with the initial phone call/estimate. Then, the mover stated that if I didn't want to pay the extra charge, he suggested I leave behind a glass cabinet and locker. These two items were already on my inventory list and took up a very small portion of space.
Horrible experience
On 4/20/23 we hired and gave a deposit of $800 to Dedicated Van Lines for an estimated $3,000 move from Vandalia, Il. To Hermann, Mo. Our interactions were done with Ryan Gold. At the time of determination to hire, my husband informed Mr. Gold of all the items were needed moved. He is a military collector and had a WWII motorcycle and a 550 lb torpedo that needed to be moved (main reason for hiring a moving company). Mr. Gold gave us an estimate of $3,000. He said he would send a box truck, my husband informed him at that time he did not believe that would be large enough. We hired the company with the deposit and scheduled move for 5/1/23.
On 5/1/23, at approximately 12 noon, 3 men (Chriss, Don, and Abraham) arrived with a box truck. They immediately assessed the situation and called the company to say this could not all be done in one day with a box truck. We were then told we would owe $3, 000 more. At that point we paid because we were packed and needed to relocate. The men immediately began inferring if they were tipped nicely “they would take care of us’. We told the them and labeld items that were not to be moved. This included a deep freezer in the garage and a big box TV. They brought the old TV to the residence and refused to follow simple instructions. We asked if they could please move the beds first, Chriss (foreman?) ignored this request. The first day they loaded from 12 noon to approximately 8:30 pm, in our view. They wrapped items, carefully loaded etc. We left the old residence at approximately 8 pm for the 2 ½ hour drive to our new residence, they were to lock up and follow. They left the residence unlocked, garage door open, and lights on. They stayed overnight somewhere with our belongings.
They arrived on 5/2/13 at our new residence at 8am. They immediately complained because we lived on a hill. At one point my husband caught them throwing a radiator heater out of the truck, down the hill. He politely asked them to be more careful. The truck was unloaded in 48 hours and things taken to the rooms they were labeled for except the dryer which was left in the middle of the dining room. They returned to the old residence to get “remaining” ITEMS. They arrived there at approximately 2pm. My son was available to let them in. Soon after they arrived they had my son call and say they could not move the torpedo. My husband asked to speak to Chriss. He claimed they could not move it “without breaking their backs”. A slight dispute ensued. My son said then Chriss began to cuss, was throwing things, they were not wrapping items, etc. They also took my husband’s gas cans and dumped out approximately $100 worth of gasoline into our yard, a residential area which is an EPA violation. From that point Chriss refused to answer our phone calls. At one point my son observed Abraham sleeping in the truck on our box spring and mattress (wasn’t able to get a picture).
They arrived at the new residence at 2am in the morning with the 2nd load. They had no lights on the truck so my husband had to run his truck lights. They refused to take the remaining items to the designated areas labeled and unloaded them all into a stone barn on the property. For days my clothes were stored with my shovels. They did assemble one bed but not the rest of the furniture. They left at 3:30 am. They did not bring the torpedo along with numerous other items.
Two days later my son went to the house to mow yard. He found the deep freeze that were not supposed to move unplugged. Over $500 of meat and frozen food was destroyed. On top of the freezer was a bottle of rum (that was in our refrigerator) that was empty. He also took pictures of the damages to the house and the area where the gas was poured out.
We paid $6000 for a move. Our old residence had a chandelier destroyed, hard wood floors damaged, scrapes and scuffs on the walls and stairs, numerous items throughout that were left, and a large destroyed patch of grass where the gas was poured. They damaged an antique lamp and military collectible. They destroyed some plastic shelving and scratched my $10000 bedroom suit all to pieces, not to mention a $500 loss of meat and food. We have had to make at least 2 trips back to get items and still to date to not have everything moved. I feel we are entitled to reimbursement of at least ½ because of damages and the job not being completed.
I have spoken to Ryan Gold several times concerning the matter. He stated that “apparently he under estimated the job and should have sent a big truck and 4 men. He also said they are told never to deliver after 4pm. The last call to Mr. Gold was on June 1st. He said he had sent the complaint higher and copied me on the email. I never received the email and he has not returned calls. These 3 men should never be allowed to move anyone again.
