Devon Heaven Avis 

Ordered and took a date that was offered. It was not fulfilled and received no communication. Could not speak to anyone. No customer service at weekends even though I was able to book a delivery over the weekend. Sent several emails and no one ever answered phone. Finally got offered another delivery date and told they couldn’t fulfil my previous order. Did not appear sorry and did not offer any reason why I was able to book a date they couldn’t do! Second delivery date not fulfilled. Again no email or apology. I had to chase them! Finally got a refund. Glad it was a thank you gift and not someone’s special day. Now have used Cornish Hamper Store and no problems at all and very communicative customer service. If this is an important gift on a particular date , , don’t trust this company!

Response to your reply below. I hear no accountability! You blame me for the times I made the orders. Please note, you OFFERED the second date order which you still DID NOT fulfill. Just be respectful and take accountability for your poor service!

I used this company last year to send a gift to my sister in London. She was really pleased with it and so I have just repeated the experience. I had a polite and friendly email from the company as I had not put a delivery date and message in my order. A little bit of Devon Heaven again delighted my sister who cannot get to Devon herself so Thank you for good service

Easy to order and I was kept up to date with the delivery. The hamper was a birthday gift for my daughter in law and sent to a different address, which posed no problem. The contents were very well received.

I ordered for a friend's birthday. It arrived on time & they really enjoyed it. They've even sent a hamper themselves to someone!

I purchased a Fruit & Plain Scone Hamper for a friends 60th birthday. It was great as I could order it well in advance of the the delivery date. You get a notification when they are about to send it out for delivery. It was at this point I realised I had made a mistake on the order. I emailed them straight away asking if it was possible to correct this, they were absolutely brilliant and did. My friend loved her present. I would definitely use them again.

Ordered a prosecco cream tea for a friend and inadvertently input the wrong postcode as I had to overwrite the address as it didn't correspond to the current house name.
After informing Devon Heaven of a non-delivery the mistake was discovered on the evening of the delivery day.
Devon Heaven would not deliver to corrected to postcode nor issue a refund. So received nothing! Delivery in my area was with DPD who didn't even deliver in my area that day as my daughter had a scheduled delivery bumped to the next day with an apology from DPD. Delivery could have been made if the customer care was good.
Will never use again. My advice is to only order the basic package if you have to, in case it goes wrong to limit your loss.
Will stick to the Cornish Company in future or a supermarket order as never had a problem with them.
With respect to the response it reiterates what I said. Cream tea was never going to be delivered on the day due to DPD.
I would at least expect to receive the order and be able to use the jam and prosecco.
If I buy a product I expect to have what I pay for not the supplier telling me I can't have the prosecco etc

IV had 3 hampers from Devon hampers now and I'm very happy with each of them everything is very fresh tasty and packaged well it's delivered when they say with a fast efficient service the prices are very good too the scones are so light and tasty the cream is fresh and jam so fruity I can't recommend them enough I buy them for presents for my friends when I want something special and a bit different from the usual gift card or flowers I will definitely be buying more they are amazing there is even a card to put your own message on they are brilliant A********

I ordered a pasty and treats gift box for my partner. The delivery arrived on the day I requested and I was kept well informed by DPD about times etc. The pasties were packaged to keep them cool which was great, and the box contained a good selection of high end treats. Overall very pleased with this purchase would recommend

Ordering was easy and I was able to pick the delivery date.
All was delivered as promised and he was extremely happy with the contents

Love the afternoon teas from here. I seem to buy these frequently as gifts and can honestly say they work a treat each time. If they dont have the the product I ordered I get an alternative but it suits me just fine as luckily im always last min.com and would probably miss the celebration if they waited for me to respond. Delivery is next day during the week and always on point. I am looking to order myself a gluten free one as no one seems to want to order me one. Can't fault this great company and communication.
