Do not trust Dimi Emergency they are scammers. You get told one price for call out, then get charged a higher price. They also refuse to give a report of any findings. Stear clear of these cowboys

My grandmother is 88 years old and vulnerable. At the time of her interaction with this company, we were away, leaving her isolated without hot water or heating. Unsure of what to do, she contacted this company for assistance.

Over the phone, she agreed only to a £180 call-out charge. However, when the engineers attended her home, they quoted £1,000 to carry out the repair, which she declined. They then told her she was still required to pay the call-out charge and coerced her into providing her bank card details and PIN so that they could process the payment on their own device. She was never shown the payment amount, nor was she asked to authorise the transaction herself. No repair work was carried out, and she was not provided with a written quotation, invoice, or any other documentation.

The following day, after reflecting on what had happened, she contacted the bank to report her concerns. It was only then that she discovered £500 had been taken from her account, rather than the agreed £180. The fault was subsequently repaired by a different company, which charged just £65 for the work.

This company is now disputing the chargeback claim my grandmother put into the bank. I am disgusted that they have not been held accountable for their actions.

They came out (£180 call out fee) and looked at the boiler for 2 mins and quoted £1000 for parts to replace on my boiler. Naively i agreed and paid £500 deposit. Over the next few weeks they kept making excuses about "parts not arriving". Eventually i got fed up and asked for my money back and that's when they ghosted me. Took my £500 with them.

For others in the same boat, report to your bank and trading standards. I will be doing the same as well as taking them to small claims court.

KEEP AWAY from this cowboy. Since being ripped off by him I have looked into the so called company, and seems he has not only ripped off me but many others. Pretends to of fixed the problem, asks for money upfront, says waiting for parts and eventually ignores calls and messages. I will be taking this person to court. He should not be trading at all.

I was charged nearly £2400 pounds, in which we had to pay half first before any repairs were started and my boiler wasnt fixed. I also found it quite frustrating as in having to chase them up to get any update. And have had to cancel nearly a week off work because our boiler still isnt fixed. I got another plumber in yesterday and he was completly shocked on what we have been charged. I have now reported this to trading standards dont waist your money people. My partner a few days later said her handbag and some of her mothers jewelry are missing we have searched our home over and over afain and its been taken two of these guys one called Dimi the other im unsure of his name are totally un trustworthy.

On a Monday, he came to my 80 year old mother's house as she had no heating or hot water (she has recently lost her husband). He took £1,700.00 from her (this was all she had) using a device on his phone where she was asked to put her debit card details in, like a lot of elderly people, she trusted him. He then did not come back. I called him & had to listen to all his lies & excuses & he eventually agreed to come back on the Wednesday afternoon (which he did), he then proceeded to try to get more money from my mother for so called parts!!! She told him that he had taken all of her money & she had no more. I again called him he is very argumentative & tried to tell me both his sisters were Barristers! if that was a warning, it didn't work! ( after much ado he then said he would come back on Friday (surprise surprise!!) he didn't. I again called him & firstly he said he came (ring camera shows otherwise). He then said he was waiting for parts (that she did not have the money previously for to pay him for these). So, contradicted himself by saying he had gone there. I offered for him to pay the money back & I would give him her account details. He said he would only give back some but had to ask the 'office first'. He does not have an office he is a one man band! or bandit should I say. He never paid anything back. We have reported him to the Police & have a crime number, hopefully she will get her money back via the bank. She still has not got hot water or heating!! I have also reported him to Trading Standards. He is a scammer that takes money from vulnerable elderly people. Please beware!!!!!!

I paid £1,500 upfront for repairs after being pressured by this individual and his colleague. After payment, further messages were ignored and no work had been carried out.

My bank has since reviewed this and confirmed it meets the criteria of a scam and is now investigating.

Afterwards, I found multiple similar reviews using the word “scam”, as well as different business names, listings, and phone numbers being used, which raises serious concerns. He also gave me a fake name and 'oddly' there are no Google reviews for his 'company'.

Warning! I called Ashton Heating & Plumbing as it was described as a local family owned business. Dimi Emergency Plumbing turned up. They overcharged for 3 pumps and 2 valves which they claimed needed replacing. In total, they charged close to £3,000 for an afternoon's work. Sadly, the problem was not fixed and despite many calls, they did not return to resolve the issue . Beware!

Beware of this company, tried to rip me off for unnecessary work!!
Called out for a leaking boiler, turned up 3 minutes before the alloted 1 hour 50 minutes wait time ended. Friendly enough but quoted £2,300 to get in a new part and £4,500 total fitted!! I said no and they left. Had another company out the following day and it was a stuck valve that cost me £100 to have it replaced and fitted!!

We hade The main drainage blocked, we need the unblocked and cleaned and they come and did the work and unblocked the drains, very good at there work

We had a big leak coming from the ceiling and needed it fixed urgently. It was in a very difficult place, so we needed professionals to find and repair the leak properly. They came, located the problem quickly, and fixed it. I’m so pleased I found the right people. I’ve had bad experiences with plumbers in the past, but these were very experienced and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Do not trust this plumber he is a scam artist he attended a call out for a broken-down boiler and diagnosed a faulty pump and valve and quoted £1600 for repair and requested a 50% upfront payment. This was paid by card via his phone which had been adapted to be used as a card payment device. The parts were acquired and the job completed all satisfactory upon leaving he requested the balance of the 50% payment which was paid once again via a card using his phone then left.
After he left I became a little suspicious due to the fact that the plumber entered the bank details and the sum on the phone then requested me whilst still holding his phone to input my pin number the phone was held in such a way so that the sum being authorised could not be seen by me. I phone the bank to check the transaction amounts and was horrified when they informed him that the initial transaction was for £980 and second transaction was for £1790 making a total of £2770 for approximately 4 hours work and £520 of materials if you deduct the materials element it leaves a whopping sum of £2250 for 4 hours labour £562.50 per hour.
I emailed the plumber to challenge the charges and suggested that he might have forgotten the initial £980 payment and his response/justification for such a high cost was to explain that he had saved me £8000 by repairing his boiler so effectively deserved a higher payment and then took it without any authority.

He came out as an emergency to look at our broken boiler which was £190 he was here five minutes said a new boiler would be £8000!!! Said he could repair it for £2800 . We had to pay £1400 upfront which we did . He ordered the parts so he said . We waited two weeks with no heating or hot water in January . No contact . He wouldn’t return calls or messages . Then when he did reply he kept saying still waiting for parts . About a week later he said he had the parts was coming the next day . He didn’t turn up didn’t call or text . Wouldn’t return our calls or messages . I finally got him to call me pretending to be someone else needing an urgent repair on a different number . He called me straight back ! Funny that ! I then said who I was and why didn’t he turn up he said oh he was busy didn’t have the part would come next day . I said forget it I want a refund that same day. He said ok . Did not get the refund . Contacted PayPal to get refund and he has said to PayPal he fixed our boiler three times !!!!!! So he is lying and also is refusing to give us our money back and hasn’t fixed the boiler !!! Hasn’t done anything except mess us about for weeks . Do not go near this guy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called out plumber on mon 29th Dec and was quoted £250 call out charge and promised a fix to broken boiler. Property is rented so Dimi turned up and started to clean the filter and provided a quote for replacing pump and taking 4 hrs to clean whole system. Was forced to progress as he has started dismantling filter. However boiler was working in hour and he claimed pump had been replaced ! Was forced to make payment before he left and a quick inspection later showed he did not clean the whole system or replace pump. Photographic evidence was provided to claim back costs but he refused to cooperate and continues to fleece other customers. Do NOT USE this man and his company

Needed a plumber ASAP and these guys were incredibly fast and reliable. Really appreciate the quick service!
