I like the large pictures of the meal and the instructions are easy to follow. If there is a problem with the quality of the food, I can report it and get a credit right away.

Poor quality control

We have had numerous problems with Dinnerly. We have received incorrect ingredients, missing recipe cards, damaged ingredients, we have had boxes with missing ingredients, and one week we didn’t even get the box we ordered. Dinnerly has poor quality control. It’s a shame because the meals are actually delicious, though a bit expensive.

We love the ease of having meals…

We love the ease of having meals planned out for us with easy instruction. We enjoy the variety and that it helps us get out of our comfort zones with food.
At times some of the vegetables are already starting to go bad when we receive them along with packaging that is broken with items leaking. Last time we received an empty pack of cilantro. Besides this, we really enjoy Dinnerly and refer it to many friends and family

I’d give it no stars if that were an…

I’d give it no stars if that were an option. I merely logged into my account and my subscription got renewed and I was charged 150 bucks for garbage meat.
Furthermore this isn’t the first time they’ve done this as I’ve got screenshots from last year around this time where they pulled this and I was refunded because I’d somehow by the grace of god caught it early. Hmmmm seems suspect they’ve done this to me twice and a quick google search tells you many others had a similar experience plus they’ve got incredibly low ratings everywhere (they hadn’t when I subscribed in 2022)

The main ingredient was missing. No Pork Tenderloin was included with the meal.

As a former customer from Hello Fresh

As a former customer from Hello Fresh, Dinnerly is by far the best switch for my wife and I.

We are going through diet changes which Hello fresh cannot support.
We are more sensitive to gluten, milk and eggs. Which Dinnerly has sorts of variety and never the same dinners.

Always different which we like. Very flavorful. And fresh ingredients.

This company is shaaaady AF

This company is shaaaady AF. Same experience as so many others. You're led into thinking you have to input your credit card information to see their menu. Never even picked the damn meals, never received any form of confirmation email stating I signed up for the service, no notification saying how much or when I would be charged. No notification saying when I would receive a box, just an unauthorized charge. The only damn reason I knew this crooked company charged me was because I looked at my bank statement. Tried to cancel and get a refund, was told that I have to cancel within a week of making the order. How the hell am I supposed to know I had a subscription if they never sent me an email and when I never intended to make the damn purchase? I'm fuming. God damn criminals at this company. BEWARE!

As you can always keep up to date with our current and upcoming meals at www.dinnerly.com/menu without signing up or providing any form of payment information, when you do click to accept the first order and account creation, at the stage where you add the payment details, the first order is set in place.
It is possible to cancel your first order as long as you contact us before its billing day as stated in our help center, as well as in our terms & conditions: "3.3 If you wish to cancel your first order, you must contact our Customer Service team. Simply canceling your membership will not result in the automatic cancellation of your first order". 
Furthermore, the moment you create an account, the system automatically sends an email confirmation, informing you of the details you added, as well as notifying you of the first order and when the first charge will occur, so we are sorry to learn that you might have missed that email. If I could give 0 stars I would. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to do this when they wanted payment before even picking the meals. At the time the meals weren’t appealing at all so I actually decided I’d come back to finish. When I went to go to my account to finish I couldn’t log in and reached out to CS. No one got back to me. My card was charged and I received meals I didn’t ask for or even eat. They refused to refund me because I didn’t make the changes in time and they basically don’t care that you never finished your subscription order bc as long as your card info is in there that’s all they want. Is your money. They didn’t offer me any resolution to food that’s just going to go in the garbage because no one eats this. The quality of the food wasn’t even worth it. tomatoes were squished and broccoli was brown. It sat outside in the heat for hours too. Never buying from here again. Back to hello fresh

I love the market options…

I love the market options to supplement my orders and get products that I cannot get locally. I do wish these meals would come with more veggies, but the market options help make up for that deficit.

No more PB and J for dinner!

I’m a travel advisor and I never know when someone will come into the office at the last minute to book a vacation. Now Dinnerly is in my back pocket. I can rest assured that when I get home and have to switch up my dinner plans in an instant, we can eat something better than a peanut butter sandwich! The food is delicious (especially the pasta!), I save money by not having to purchase special ingredients, (or eat out, which is increasingly becoming more and more unaffordable) and there’s always more than enough food. I still plan my menus and do some grocery shopping, but I don’t spend NEARLY as much on food from the store now. Oh, and here’s how I keep track of the little packets of spice mixes, panko, etc. I keep them in a small canister or container in the kitchen, so I always know where to find them, they never get lost.

I appreciate the variety of options and…

I appreciate the variety of options and price points for each week. I've had damaged or missing ingredients on more than one occasion, but I have always been been credited for the cost of the damaged or missing items. Customer service has been responsive and very easy to work with, which has kept me with this service despite the occasional issue.

Only because I can't give them less than 1 star.

Dinnerly automatically enrolls users into a subscription without obtaining clear consent to place an order. They have deceptive business practices by requiring a credit card before allowing users to view their weekly meal options. Despite not proceeding with the order, the system still processed it without my authorization. After being left on hold forever I finally reached someone, I belive the name i was given is Teresa to request a cancellation. At that point, I was told there was nothing they could do theyd already started packing the box. As a result, I was charged the full amount without my express permission. I made a dispute with my bank and eventually given a refund which a month later dinnerlys bank has rejected and the money again taken from my account. This company is horrible. Their food is as well.

I like the variety of choices

I like the variety of choices, and the instructions are clear to follow. The meals are usually quite tasty, and I like the categories used - they are helpful in selecting meals. Some meals I feel could use an additional vegetable. The ingredients are fresh.

takes all the thinking out of dinner prepping

We love how it takes all the thinking out of meal prepping. We love choosing the recipes and then having all of it sent with recipe cards and on those nights where I can’t decide anything I just follow the instructions and I have an amazing meal. Thank you for making my life a tad easier! And the price is the best around compared to all the other dinnner subscriptions! We love the food we make now!
