I like the large pictures of the meal and the instructions are easy to follow. If there is a problem with the quality of the food, I can report it and get a credit right away.
Dinners are well thought out and very good. Delivery is always prompt, portions are generous. I know prices are going up but sill seems a good value.
I tried all the food subscription deals. I did two weeks of dinnerly and it was the smallest portions. They claim it's two, but it didn't even satisfy one serving. To make matters worse, I cancel... Voir plus

I love the simplicity of each meal. I have done other kits that were good, but not easy for a quick and tasty meal during a busy week. I also love the affordability and the large variability of recipes.
Menu selection is very comprehensive and varied, shipping first class, food quality excellent. Menu full of interesting flavors based on many provided ingredients.
Not really impressed. I tried hello fresh and green chef and they were way better. This people charge you for your first order many days in advanced and don’t let you cancel it after you find out the meals suck. You later find out you need to get a bunch of items for the meals and they provide you only with the basic(which is not like that for other companies). They also charge almost the same amount as these other companies and provide less. The meals are not healthy compared to other companies.

I was shopping for a meal kit delivery service, and read a review that Dinnerly was good and affordable. When I got to the site, I could not see a way to view their menu items without entering in payment info. I did not know until after they billed me for my "first order" that they automatically "lock in" your first order and it is uncancel-able. I discussed this with one of their agents and they dug in their heels and refused to refund me, even though my "first delivery date" was several days into the future. When I was shopping, I had decided I did not like their service, and took out of my "inbox" the 2 menu items Dinnerly chose. I thought I was safe but apparently not. DO NOT SHOP AT DINNERLY. They are dishonest and will sign you up for their service, not allow you to cancel the first order while you're merely browsing their site. They charge you whether you want them or not!

The recipes are easy and delicious.
I have a lot of choices and I don't have to order every week.
The box was heavily damaged for the 3rd week in a row. The tape on the top of the box no longer held it together. Some of the ice packs had burst so food was covered in the contents of the cooling packs. Recipe cards were wet because of the other issues

There are so many meal choices, that I never get bored. The meals are easy to prepare and delicious.
Lately, our boxes have been late regularly. This latest box was boxed poorly and the recepies were stuck to the box. Several times the potatoes were in bad shape.

I just made a pita pizza! With hummus and zucchini and roasted red peppers. Topped with olive pile and feta cheese! So fresh and simple! Thank you Dinnerly
I like the ease of having dinners mostly together to make but I have had a number of them where the vegetables are not the freshest or ripe and chicken that has leaked in my box. Just frustrating for the money paid. I have made comments before.

We have used them for years, our box hadn’t been delivered and the customer service team were exceptionally helpful. I will always recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for feeding my family!
Delivery and products were good for the first couple years. Then over the last 6 months or so delivery has become erratic. Sometimes delivered on a different day sometimes not at all. Products missing or damaged in the box.

They force you to completely sign up with payment information before seeing the recipes. I canceled within 10 minutes or less of signing up when I realized it was HelloFresh with a different name. The same boring recipes and nothing I would eat. They still charged me and are refusing to refund me or cancel the order. They tried saying they paid for the food just for my order. Which we all know is a complete lie. They said they dont want food waste... well, you are wasting it and carbon footprint for no reason because I am not going to use it and you had someone package it and deliver it when I cancel in more than enough time.
I created an account and literally less than 5 minutes later I deactivated because the food choices looked really bad. When the pictures don't even look appetizing, its probably not worth the money. I was still charged for a box that I didn't order. Customer service said when you deactivate your account, you also have to call customer service to cancel AGAIN otherwise they will continue to charge you. Seems very SCAMMY. I think a lot of people cancel because its a below average delivery service. But their customer service makes them probably the worst on the market. Not worth it at all.
UPDATE TO RESPOND TO DINNERLY'S RESPONSE BELOW: I have already talked to your customer service. they said you can view the menu BEFORE signing up, which is false. On your homepage, it literally makes you sign up before you can see ANY food. There are no links to take you to another page. Please show me on your website where it directs you to see a menu without signing up.
So they force you to sign up. Then they don't let you cancel even though you get a message saying your account has been deactivated. If I have to cancel multiple times, that should be well stated and communicated when I deactivated and cancelled on the site. But when I did that, it simply said "your account has been deactived" and then gave me instructions on how to reactivate. It didn't say, please follow up with our customer service. NO TRANSPERANCY. They said below they want "Transparency' but literally everything is a scam. They say one thing and then do another thing. They just want your money and force items on you that you didn't pick nor do you even want. I disputed the charge with my bank and suggest everyone save themselves the headache and go with a more reputable delivery service.
After all this...they still don't want to do the right thing and refund the money. They must be hurting for business so badly that they want to steal money from people.

Plan is great! I am a single senior. I no longer cook but I get the 4 meals for 2 people plan. Then my housekeeper cooks it up and divides it into 3 meals each. It serves me well, with plenty of left overs. I spend less for food and am eating well and healthy.
I love it so far. Better options for picky eaters like myself
Still waiting on my first box and being charged for second box. Will my first show up at the same time as my second because this is not how the company worked the first time I was with them. If they don't pull their stuff together I will cxl again. First time was for financial reasons. Second time will be because the quality of the company has gone too far down the drain.

We have really loved Dinnerly and used them for a long time and referred friends over. Not having to worry about shopping and deciding what to cook is the best. Their price is also on par with what I would expect to pay.
They recently switched their shipping choices to us and it has led to a lot of late deliveries and ingredient problems (busted bags or getting too warm). If the shipping were to return back I would be thrilled, now it is kinda like every week we wait and see if it arrives on time and in shape or not. If I could I would have given 3.5 stars because of that issue.
