We really are passionate about cardboard...
Direct Global Trading Boxes is a family-owned, mail order business based in the heart of Yorkshire. Back in 2016, we became really excited about cardboard! Fast forward to today and millions of boxes and thousands of house moves later, we’re still in love with the stuff!
Our cardboard boxes are made right here in God’s own country! We’re proud to use 100% recycled materials in our boxes meaning that our boxes are 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and 100% reusable. Now that’s pretty amazing, even if we do say so ourselves!
Over the next few years, our aim is to continue to be clever with cardboard as we introduce new and innovative products to our range – all in the name of making your lives easier!

Used these in different sizes over the years for moving home, sending items, general storage!
Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and these are just the best boxes!

Data breach
Was initially impressed with the boxes I received, but am now receiving spam from other companies to the unique email address I used for Direct Global Trading Boxes. So either they have intentionally shared my details with other companies which I never agreed to so a breach of GDPR, or their customer data has been breached and they haven’t let their customers know. Either way, not impressed.

Super speedy delivery
Super speedy delivery. Great price. Nice sturdy boxes. I love the spaces on the boxes to write what's in them. Most of all I love the pictures and the jokes on them, makes them so unique and fun, as a sense of humour is definitely needed when moving!

Realised within seconds of placing the…
Realised within seconds of placing the order that I had put the wrong delivery address in. No phone number to call, ‘live chat’ didn’t reply for 2 hours by which point it had already been shipped. Apparently they couldn’t contact dpd to change delivery address. Dpd couldn’t change address without instruction from the seller. So I just have to write off the money wasted as the product has been sent 8 hours away to Orkney. I know it was my initial mistake but absolutely ridiculous that nothing could be done.

impossible to speak with customer service
I have placed an order and received the day after which it was great but unfortunately a 60 meters bubblewrap, 1 tape roll and marker pen are missing. I have spent so far 2 days to try to write to them or at least get in contact with them but it is impossible. Now I am waisting days and money because I need to reorder SOMEWHERE else the bubblewrap which it was the most essential thing for us.
On their website said that they have a live chat which is not true as only messages goes through and you have to wait at least 24 hours before someone reply to your query , however, I am still waiting for more then 24 hours for a response . Absolutely time and money wasted. Never ever will buy from them again.
