Direct Wood Flooring Avis 

Ordered 4 samples (was not able to add more to my basket, fair enough).

I only received three, and only two of those I actually picked. The third one was the wrong colour altogether.

UPDATED to say that they have sent me the samples I wanted as per their reply to my review here.

I ordered my wood flooring in September 2025, the fitting was November. Since fitting we have had issues with creeky floors, unfinished ends, the trims not fitted. We have been back and forth with the company about trying to get it rectified. The fitter has said the underlay used is the incorrect density for the flooring. Endless emails and we haven’t been able to get them out to properly review. Quite upset and it’s stressful. I have no number to call, no one to escalate it too. This is very poor customer service.

Twice sent the wrong Samples.I’ve given up on them

Order was processed very quickly. Visited the Orpington branch as well and the service was quality - Dan was very helpful and provided useful hits on flooring!

To start with i ordered a sample that got delivered much faster than other places. I had someone to contact to check that I received it and at that point I already had placed an order for 20sq meters of flooring, underlay and skirting.
Delivery company didn't perform very well, delivering only part of the order. Special mention to Ben from the Havant store who was a superstar chasing my consignment, keeping me updated all the time and making it happen. Ben is efficient, polite, dedicated and excellent at customer service.
I had been contacted by other members of the team as well to keep me updated on the progress.
Definitely will deal with this company again.

I went to the store in Great Western Road Glasgow and dealt with John. He was very knowledgeable, polite and made you feel at ease. I knew the colour of engineered hard floor I wanted and had my measurements. Everything was explained and I left as a happy customer. Looking forward to getting my new floor installed

Please do not ever use this company.
We had flooring done 3-4 Dec 2025.
Fitter left it incomplete.
He turned up without a dustpan and brush, left a lot of mess, took us days to clean , despite we made provisions to use our garage.
Wriiten endless emails to the company for the fitter to come and complete the work, still no sign of him and we are in
7-03 -26.
You cannot get hold of any managers or a human being it’s all done by email.

We went to the showroom after ordering samples. Joe from the Keighley branch couldn't have been more helpful. He was knowledgeable and professional. He was not pushy and even ket us take a swatch so we could see what it was like with iur kitchen. We will be in tomorrow to return the swatch and place an order.

A very bad experience, I was sold a shade of colour that I had not chosen. The sample they have on display is completely different from the one they gave me and it is not a variant of shades but it is practically a different colour. I realised it only after months that I returned to the shop and I could see that instead of one shade they sold me another.
