Customer service is useless as it’s just a call center reading off a script and actually has no true understanding of the process.

Questions in the questionnaire don’t match the ones on the actual form. The editing process is painful because you can’t just go into the form and make changes, you need to send a message with edits and then wait for them to reopen the online questions that still don’t match. And even though I paid for the expedited processing, the edits after the first review take days.

I tried another service and the interface was very clunky. Yours was much better. What it lacked was the ability to add custom info. That was frustrating. I had to edit the PDF docs myself. I expected a much better interface for 600 dollars.

I paid $1500 for them to incorrectly input my answers into a form, and direct me to another platform for legal questions where I had to pay an additional fee and received very vague answers.

Divorce.com was OK in terms of platform to fill out required paperwork, and if you purchase the premium service, it gets your paperwork to the court. But there was a significant delay in getting the paperwork to the other party after the company received it back from the court, and for no reason other than whoever was processing my case simply forgot about it. That led to significant problems moving forward, problems I'm still dealing with months later. Their execution of their basic job was subpar, at best. My divorce proceedings are now taking MONTHS longer because of their delay.

Every time this company replies it’sa minimum of 2 days and they don’t fully answer questions leaving you with more delays.

I found the process to be confusing and overly complex. I ended up hiring an attorney and finishing the process in little over a month.

Disaster. Terrible customer service. Would never pick up the phone and took forever to call back. Didn't file all the papers, and when it came to child support payment apparently they didn't add our final edits and filed an incorrect FL 350. Can you imagine the conflict this has caused with my ex? f'ing disaster, disaster, disaster. I'm going to reach out to demand a refund, but the odds of me getting a reply are almost zero.

REVIEW UPDATE: in response to their excuse I can tell they didn’t research my actual case. 1st general excuse is they file the paperwork based on our answers and info we input. I put in my separation date to be 09/11/2022 they put my separation to be 02/06/2024 so who fault would that be? Definitely not my own and I sent proof of this by screenshot! Every issue I ever had I sent emails and called. So do better with the reply next time and do some actual research instead of giving general excuses. Also I was promised that my $405 additional fee to the $789 was covering everything. If your employees don’t know my state’s clerk of court rules then they shouldn’t make promises they can’t keep. I have this on recording as well! I also called when my ex received their paperwork to find out why were we having to fill out income assignment paperwork. I was told this was mandatory. Clerk of court told me this was false and only apply for those who are seeking child support from one parent to another. Seem to me you all don’t know anything that my court requires and shouldn’t be selling something you have no education on. The required paperwork is also FREE at clerk of court. So even your $789 is bogus! You didn’t do anything that was promised from beginning to end. NOTHING right! I’ll def reply to email and BBB complaint will be filed!
This has been by far the worse experience ever! It’s already bad enough when going through a divorce you feel alone and defeated and then you pay companies like this and get cheated. 1) When signing up I asked every question I could think of and what all did the $789 cover. I was never told it would be an additional $405 filing fee when going to the court. I accepted that and kept moving even though this was a huge financial burden from the unknown. 2) I kept calling in to get status update on next steps. Each time I was told they were waiting on the court to return paperwork that was filed. They told me it would take 2-6 weeks. I waited way beyond that time frame and finally sent a email with my frustration. 3) I had to go to the court and get the paperwork filed myself(this is something they promised me was a perk of me paying $789 was that I would NOT have to do anything in this manner). I let that go. Then they send me a final package saying it’s complete and all I had to do was file the final package for judge to sign off on or set a hearing date. I go to the court and they point out divorce.com put the wrong dates on form! I immediately contact them and they emailed me an updated version the next day and apologized for their mistake. Then I ask them on a recorded line is there anything else such as hidden fees I will have to pay the court because I needed to know this upfront. I was promised that my $405 paid in the beginning directly to the court was my only additional fee and it covered this final process as well. I go back to the court and they tell me not only is some of the paperwork not valid, but it’s and additional filing fee again! I contact divorce.com yet again and they promise me that this is incorrect information and they would handle it. I get a email this morning apologizing yet again saying in fact the clerk of court is right and they expect me to pay another fee!!! I’ve sent all emails and recordings to my bank to show how dishonest this company is! Please stay away if you’re already dealing with enough you don’t need the extra burdens they bring and don’t even care! It’s absolutely disgraceful

Lack of communication from step 4 to 5 and it magically was “sent out” the day I reached out to check on the status…
I also paid extra to have mine “expedited” but it still took the 5-7 business days to receive anyway so that was pointless
I guess that’s what you get for going cheaper than a lawyer

It’s taking forever. None of the information entered is put on paper correctly which has led to multiple complaints and reaching out to get the paperwork fixed. We should have been divorced months ago but you can’t get the paperwork right. Hopefully it’s right this time and the judge signs it. I do not recommend at all.

My friend coersed me into paying, said all i have to do is fill out, pay, and the rest will ve taken cared of. Spend like 750 dollars and they did was the same thing my local office does for free.
Save your money and stay away, you can get this done free

The court did not accept these documents and I had to start all over with their forms and divorce.com did not return my money.

I have had a good experience until it has been time to talk to someone directly about which forms I need to send back and when. I had to send several emails with no follow up. I also had to call and the person wasn’t helpful. It would be nice especially for those paying platinum experience to have one point person we deal with.
