No resolution, no real response — just a company that takes your money and goes quiet. Disappointing doesn't even cover it.

Every time frustrated using Dubizzle

I’m honestly extremely frustrated with Dubizzle. These are by far the worst listing guidelines I’ve ever experienced.

My ad was rejected multiple times with the explanation that I was “posting multiple items in one ad” – which is simply not true. I clearly listed one single bedroom for rent, including a standard discount for longer stays. I carefully reviewed and adjusted both the title and description several times, yet the ad kept getting rejected without any meaningful clarification.

What makes this even worse:
• You charge 206 AED for a single ad that runs only 30 days
• There is no proper customer support – no phone number, no immediate help
• Only slow chat/email responses, meaning days are lost waiting for approval
• Meanwhile, the paid ad period continues running, even during review or rejection

This effectively means customers are paying full price but receiving significantly less exposure due to Dubizzle’s internal delays.

It feels like Dubizzle is shamelessly exploiting its dominant market position. Instead of providing a fair service, the system appears designed to reject ads while still charging customers.

In Europe, practices like this would very likely face serious legal scrutiny for unfair treatment of consumers.

As a paying customer, I feel completely let down. Dubizzle is not supporting its users — it’s working against them.

Honestly, this creates a huge opportunity for competitors. A platform with:
• Clear and fair guidelines
• Fast approvals
• Real customer support

would easily outperform Dubizzle.

The moment a serious alternative exists, I will switch immediately and never use Dubizzle again.

A very bad experience - use a different site if you're selling something!

My experience with Dubizzle was extremely disappointing. Throughout the process, I encountered a complete lack of compassion and meaningful customer support. Rather than resolving the issue, I was repeatedly given conflicting information and assurances that communication would follow, which it never did.

What was most frustrating was the feeling of being ignored and misled. Each interaction raised expectations that the matter would be addressed, yet no real action was taken. This created unnecessary stress and wasted a significant amount of time.

Customer service should be transparent, responsive, and solution-focused. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and there was little effort to provide clarity or accountability.

Based on this experience, I have lost confidence in the platform and will not be using Dubizzle again. I hope the company reviews its customer support processes so that future users do not encounter the same issues.

I used their website to sell my products it works most efficient. U post it sell it. And I contacted real estate agents from their listing to rent a new home and their response was prompt. All genuine listing.

No-Refund even though Advertisment was…

No-Refund even though Advertisment was Posted and rejected for silly reason!!!

I posted an Add for partition room, but Dubizzle Rejected the Add and no-refund, Only that I lost the money, the Add which I posted did not go live even for a single minute.
When I asked for refund to a customer service She informed that they will not proceed for any Refund and I lost the money, this is a listed company Dubai Stock Exchange, but no professionalism and their intentions is only to get our money by cheating the customers.

Also that we can talk to Customers service only on Monday as they are not working in weekends so if you post any Add on Saturday morning, you will loose the important days during weekends and most of the customer will come to know the real reason for rejection only after weekends as the reason they give is complicated and confusing to understand without talking to customer service.

Anyway I just lost my money!!

Wasted money and time

Yesterday, the junior-level inspector you sent to my home — wearing a Dubizzle T-shirt — examined my vehicle only with his bare eyes and claimed that there was a problem with the chassis. Because of this, he effectively prevented my car from being listed on Dubizzle. This is simply not true.

I am at the Nissan service center right now, and there is not a single issue with the chassis. I am obtaining a written report and evidence. How your junior-level inspector was able to “detect” such a claim without any equipment is another question. From what we understand, this appears to be an attempt to block our listing on Dubizzle, devalue the vehicle, and purchase it cheaper by bypassing Dubizzle entirely. This is the only logical explanation. The Dubizzle brand could not have been damaged more cheaply than this.

Additionally, while purchasing the service on your website, you promise high-quality and professional photography. However, only very basic mobile phone photos were taken. This alone is not a major issue, but despite requesting proper photos four separate times — both on-site and afterwards — they were never provided. Because of this, I could not even appear under “Private Advertise” on Dubizzle. When I made the payment on your website, I assumed I would at least be able to use the promised photos.

Today, my lawyers will file a complaint with the relevant authorities, because this situation enables opportunists and fraudsters, and ultimately damages the image of Dubai, the UAE, and valuable brands like Dubizzle.

I do not expect anything from you; I only want you to understand the consequences of what your team has caused.

Extremely disappointing experience with Dubizzle Carsr through Dubizzle Cars…

I purchased a car through Dubizzle Cars (middle-man service), and the experience was extremely frustrating.

I found the car on Dubizzle, and Dubizzle Cars promised that the seller would clear her bank loan and replace the windshield. I paid a 5,000 AED down payment on October 22 to reserve the car. However, the seller did neither, and Dubizzle Cars gave no real support, saying it might be because of a discount.

The process caused a 28-day delay, including canceled and restructured bank loan approvals. Meanwhile, the car was driven 2,000+ km and returned with a new scratch, which Dubizzle Cars failed to protect against.

Throughout the process, I felt pressured to continue, as they implied I could lose my down payment. Their inspection reports were inconsistent, and it became clear they prioritized their commission over my protection.

I am requesting compensation for the windshield, delays, and new damage, and sharing this review to warn others. Dubizzle Cars needs to improve transparency, professionalism, and buyer protection.

I’m very dissatisfied with the service I received. My advertisement was rejected after I tried to update the pictures, and there has been no support to resolve my issue. I expected better communication and assistance. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

Too much hassle for a simple platform

I’ve used Dubizzle several times, both to sell and buy different things, and honestly, the experience was way more frustrating than I expected. On paper, everything looks fine - the platform is simple, posting is quick, and your listing reaches a lot of people fast. You start getting messages almost immediately, which seems great at first. But in reality, most of these messages are just noise.

People keep asking questions that are already in the description or disappear right after a couple of replies. And the biggest issue is the lowball offers - there are so many people who offer ridiculously low prices, sometimes half or less of what you ask. If you set a fair price, you basically spend most of your time rejecting these “bargain hunters.”

Another problem is safety. Yes, the platform shows warnings about scams, but it doesn’t feel like there’s any real protection. I received a few messages from very suspicious accounts, and if I hadn’t been careful, it could’ve ended badly. There’s no good filtering or proper user verification, so you have to do all the checking yourself.

Overall, Dubizzle can work if you’re patient and ready to deal with a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth. But if you just want a simple, fast selling or buying experience, this platform will probably feel more like a headache than a help.

I paid a deposit to buy a car through Dubizzle Dubai after they confirmed it was inspected and in good condition. However, the car had a tampered odometer and a faulty gearbox. They’ve been delaying the refund for over two weeks. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

We had an appointment scheduled to view a car, and we were confirmed as the first in line for that day.
Later, a Dubizzle representative called us and said the seller could only meet in the evening instead of the original time. We asked again if we were still the first in line, and they assured us “yes, yes.”

As a result, the waiting time increased by 5+ hours. While waiting, the dispatcher called us 2–3 times asking if we were definitely coming. Then, just one hour before the new appointment, we received a message that the meeting was canceled because the car had already been sold.

After calling the dispatcher again, it turned out we had simply been moved to the end of the queue. This caused us to waste money on a rental car just to get to Dubai and lose an entire day of waiting.

I would not recommend scheduling a test drive through Dubizzle Cars unless you have a lot of free time and are in the same city as the car. Otherwise, it’s a complete disappointment.

I paid Dubizzle to promote my ad, but when I tried to edit the ad details, they deleted it without refund.

I had forgotten the previous warning, and they refused to offer any solution.
This is not fair — customers shouldn’t lose their money like this.

I feel cheated. I’m disappointed and warn others to be careful.

I purchased Volkswagen Teramont 2019…

I purchased Volkswagen Teramont 2019 model with on 13th June 2025 from Dubizzle, Dubai. I did a test drive one week before I purchased and noted that the AC functioning behind in the middle row and rear row was not not functioning properly. They told me that it will be rectified before the sale agreement is signed. I signed the sale agreement on 13th June 2025 and brought the vehicle from Dubai to Abu Dhabi by a recovery vehicle for registration in Abu dhabi. The moment the vehicle arrived Abu Dhabi, the driveer told me that the AC is not at all functioning. I raised the complaint immediately with Dubizzle but there was no reply from them and I waited for 2 days. Eventually I went to a garage in Mussaffah and they told me the the rear Evaporator has to be replaced. The cost plus labour charges was AED 4,300. I sent the invoice copy to Dubizzle and asked for a reimbursement. They declined saying that it should have been checked before signing the sale agreement. This is totally not acceptable as the AC complaint happened on the same day the sale agreement was signed. They were deliberately hiding the AC issue to the customer. I send many correspondence in this regard. I even asked for a 50% reimbursement. But they ignored my request.
I strongly recomend customers to be eextra careful while dealing with Dubizzle. Please make sure that you check everything meticulously before getting into an agreement with them. They are hiding many things. Once the deal is over, they wash their hands.

I have spoken to customer service…

I have spoken to customer service several times regarding the new update to the site layout. I also received an email response asking me to describe the problem, which I have already done multiple times, yet nothing has been changed.

Frankly, I don’t know who is responsible for the website updates, but I believe they are not doing a good job. An update is supposed to make things simpler and easier for users—not harder and more complicated.

The previous layout was simple: when you click on a picture of an ad, you were immediately taken to a page where you could scroll through the photos of the product—whether it was a car, property, or something else. Now, you have to go through three different pages just to get to that point. I don’t know which university taught this kind of UX design, but it’s extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, not well thought out.

I used to love using Dubizzle, but since the recent changes, I’ve started using other websites because, honestly, it’s just not as convenient anymore.
