I contacted the original supplier of the suite regarding the issue and they immediately contacted Duresta. Within a few days Duresta had called me and arranged an appointment with the service team.... Voir plus

Well that’s it .now 12 months since we ordered the Furniture from these guys,had every excuse in the book and several delivery dates,they must lie in their sleep,the retailer must be in on it they still take your money and quote you 20 weeks,they must know there’s no chance.still no wiser to delivery,last excuse was shortage of cord😂😂🙈
We’ve been had don’t know how this is legal.

They just don’t care!
Like many others I ordered from Duresta in September 2021, trying to be realistic and accepting the 24 weeks to delivery.
Unfortunately, I too am held in the very long queue with ridiculous excuses and even worse customer service.
We chose Duresta as a quality brand, thinking (wrongly) it would be a smooth ride.
We all know the pandemic caused problems for everyone and appreciate giving a 24 week delivery time was inevitable under the circumstances.
Obviously it is clear From other reviews this is not a realistic lead time and they need to be open and honest with us - the paying customer!
Hindsight- wish I’d never bothered ordering from Duresta…there’s other manufacturers that work with their customers and give realistic delivery times.
One star is too much…

Our Duresta sofas arrived at last ! and they are beautiful to look at and extremely comfortable to sit on. Definitely worth the wait and spending the extra amount of money on them.

Honestly I am disappointed that Duresta give leads time of 22-24 weeks and it cannot honour it . I have had to chase my supplier in East Anglia for weeks now - was ordered first week September 2021- for a delivery early to mid February - still nothing… it was ordered during pandemic so maybe a more realistic time scale should have been estimated - then we would have made an informed choice whether or not we were happy to wait - we are 32 weeks in now and the 50%cost was taken on ordering the sofas - Please think twice before ordering and maybe press your supplier for an honest / realistic lead time to save disappointment. Reading other reviews here some customers are waiting much longer …UPDATE - our sofas arrived today ( 36 weeks from order )they are lovely- look beautifully made and we are happily in receipt of them —skillfully delivered by John Doe of Diss - 🙏

Having always had Duresta furniture I ordered Two sofas, a footstool and a chair in July 2021. Told November, then January then February then I was told everything was in stock and there was an actual date for it to go into production and then for dispatch. That date then moved two weeks every two weeks. We thought we were getting there when the date held for two weeks only for us to then be told the date had moved by a month and then less than two weeks later by another month. So here we are having ordered in July last year with a projected date of end of may with zero confidence that we will actually receive our furniture at that point. I fully understood the issues with covid may have some impact but you cannot it use covid as an excuse for your horrendous customer service. Zero info provided to the store and when I emailed your customer services address not even an acknowledgement and when I called Duresta a clear “nothing to do with us guv”. So this shows there is no care for your customers. If things were in such a mess you should not be taking new orders - you need a crisis response to get your books back in order. Or are you prioritising newer orders and those of us who have already endured ridiculous waits can just keep waiting?

This is a follow up to my first review on 22 March. Still sadly no nearer to getting the correct feather seat cushion fillings. The problem was originally reported via our retailer on 25th February (nearly six weeks ago) and I understand, from a third party upholsterer instructed by Duresta, that the soonest we can expect the correct fillings is some time after Easter.
I continue to be extremely disappointed that no one at Duresta seems moved to contact us.

I ordered a sofa via John Lewis from Duresta in early October 2021, so six months ago. I received a phone call from John Lewis this week to say Duresta were still waiting for the fabric, they haven't even started making my sofa! Terrible service. I've now cancelled the order, never again.

We waited over 10months for our suite to be delivered We appreciate that due to the pandemic manufacturers and retailers experienced numerous problems many of which could not be anticipated at the time we placed our order. However little attempt was made(by either party) to keep us informed on progress with when our suite would be available for delivery.

We are pleased with the sofa but it has taken so very long to be delivered. Our previous sofa was delivered damaged and we are still waiting for the replacement. hence 4 not 5 stars

We are very pleased with our new Waldorf Suite in terms of quality, comfort and workmanship and it has been greatly admired by visitors who have seen it in situ so far and we would certainly recommend Duresta for these attributes.
We are not so happy with the length of time it took to receive the suite after ordering from our local retailer .We were given a 14 week delivery period but it actually took 39 weeks !. Whilst we appreciated there were significant problems for manufacturers and importers etc during the Covid pandemic and associated lockdowns we were repeatedly given delivery dates which did not materialise and information given to our retailer at various times in the process was clearly not correct. Even when were were advised that the suite was finished and ready for delivery it took 3 weeks to arrive from the manufacturing site in the East Midlands to our retailer in East Sussex.
Overall the delivery ( or lack of) saga) was very disappointing and we did start to ask the question if it was ever going to appear.
However it was worth waiting for and we are very pleased with and proud of our new furniture.

First class sofa and well made. Velvet material came out lighter than I thought but still love the whole effect.

We have been waiting just short of a year now !! For our two sofas ordered last April and it’s one excuse after another and it’s very worrying from a large supposedly respected company like Duresta unbelievable really !!!!

We have experienced the most terrible problems getting incorrect/badly made cushion replaced. Despite numerous complaints and promises of new back cushions none have arrived, date after date is missed and nobody at Duresta seems to care. If this company survives it will be a miracle as their quality has gone downhill and nobody in customer services gives a damn. How a company who makes £4000 sofas has such bad customer services is beyond me. The problem is there's not much choice out there and most of them are owned by the company that owns Duresta. If you can buy elsewhere I would recommend you do so. Bad management in the bane of a lot of UK companies it seems.
