Good experience from start to finish Kyle & Mark did a great job of installing the charger and leaving the garage clean and tidy.
Kyle also explained how to install the app and how it worked.

Really disappointed with my experience.
I was recommended this company by a colleague, so I had high expectations. I booked an appointment and was given a time window, which I waited in for.
I then received a call 15 minutes after the time window had already passed to say the engineer was stuck in Glasgow (I’m in Edinburgh), and that he actually didn’t need to come out after all because he’d looked at Street View and decided it would be a straightforward install.
So not only was my entire afternoon wasted, but I’ve still not received the quote he said he would send over — nor have I had any kind of follow‑up call. Had I been contacted at 1:15pm as I should have been, my experience (and this review) would have been very different.
Safe to say I’ve made enquiries elsewhere.

Lucie turned up at arranged time , spoke about her plans to complete the installation , started work promptly with minimal disruption , installed charger and CU without any issues , cleaned up every grain of dust and then demod the app and charger in operation, very well mannered , pleasant and highly skilled , very happy with overall service

Called Electropoint after purchasing my first EV. Saw add online. Very friendly and booked survey. Gerry called on booked day advised of process and how and how long instalation would take. On fitting day Lucy arrived promptly and got straight to work. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Work completed quickly and tidely. Helped me connect to app and advised on how to operate when new car arrives shortly. Happy with instalation and would not hesitate to recommend.

Emailed for a quote and had a contact the same day. Appointment made and Gerry was there at the time stated. Surveyed and advised quickly and with good attention to detail. Booked me in there and then for an install, and this was with in a week of the visit. Lucy was great arrived on time and fitted quickly, was well organised, competent and efficient. I found them both to be very professional, they made it so easy. I don't think I could ask much more.

Edward and Caitlin installed our Omhe Epod charger last week, polite courteous and went that extra mile to make sure the job ran smoothly, they are a credit to the company.

Arranged time and spent effort emptying 2 walkin cupboards so they could see the work required

No show on the day and no follow up or apology after
If they treat new customers this way i would not be wanting them for future maintenanxe once i had paid for the installation

So the installation was fine. I am now having issues and have contacted OHME and the car has been back to the dealers. OHME tell me there is a significant voltage drop from the charger - car tested and no issues. So i contacted Electropoint as the car often disconnects from charging. As my installer and with nowhere else to go i expect this to be remedied. So far after several email exchanges, i have no further update and the charger continues to disconnect from the car. Not really happy with the level of service - it seems once installed 'you're on your own mate'.

I recently had an EV charger installed at my house. I had a rep come to my house to review the set up and advise where the installation would be set up. I was told exactly what the cost would be and how long it would be before it would take place. The engineer who attended (forgot to keep his name) was so helpful and knowledgeable. He was polite efficient and made the process so simple. As he left he realised there was one thing to tell me about the circuit breaker and drove back to tell me (although he had already highlighted it but not directly previously). Such an asset to the company I wish I could call him out directly. Many companies wanted me to start an order without someone coming to see our property which is what sets this company apart.

Electropoint were very professional and not pushy. Gerry arrived to give a quote. Very helpful and relaxed appointment.Tom ( Thomas) fitted our choice and did a very professional job. Helpful and friendly. Very well done electropoint

I had initially booked our charger and installation through Octopus, who massively let us down with zero notice (booked with them because we are already customers of theirs, and thought it would be easier). One refund from Octopus later, and a quick call to a very friendly and understanding guy at Electropoint, and had a survey booked in for the very next working day. Surveyor (Gerry) was fab, and all sorted with one conversation. And absolutely NO sales pitch or pressure to purchase a higher cost charger. Booked in for 2 weeks later which was great. Even better was a cancellation came up just the next week, and Gerry called me straight away to ensure we were fitted in that afternoon because he knew we were pretty desperate for it 😊
Installer arrived, no issues with set up and testing, and we were done.
Unlike most other companies, you do not pay anything until the job is completed and everything is working. There's even an option to pay it in installments if it was needed.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company - from start to finish it was a breeze, and everyone was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you Electropointuk.

Happy to recommend Electropoint. The survey was done efficiently and Josh quoted on the basis of what I'd asked (unlike Octopus who refused to cable through the loft or take a more direct route on the exterior) and Edward was well prepared for the job, again making sure he did what I wanted. The only problem was connecting the zappi to my router and I got talked through that. My S5 is now sitting attached to the charger waiting for the off-peak tariff to kick-in.

Again, my thanks to Edward. He's a good advert for the company.

I don’t normally write these review but credit is absolute due here for this fantastic company. They were professional start to finish. I initially asked for a quote through website and I was contacted the very next day, whereby an engineer advised on different methods the cable could be run. Nothing was too much hassle and everything was reasonability priced. They clearly have a fantastic knowledge when it comes to to advising on the chargers themselves and the best method for fitting.

The engineer who came out was on time and completed the work in no time. The engineer who came out was respectful, constantly taking his shoes off whilst coming in and out the house. It’s these wee things that you remember.

This was a very difficult installation due to the age and complexity of our house. In hindsight it perhaps would have been better to have had a pre-fit survey conducted.

Fortunately the young man (Aidan) who came to do our job was outstanding in his willingness and ability to solve the various issues encountered (all related to routing the cable) and the installation was a complete success. I do hope the management of Electropoint read an give this guy a huge pat on the back. He is a credit to the organisation!

From start to finish they were excellent to deal with. Sophia dealt with me on the ordering of the charger and installation date with ease and great communication.
Lucy was the installer and was brilliant. She was very courteous and took me through all that she was doing and took me through how to use the charger via the app. Her work was very neat and tidy.

It is hard to believe the previous reviews are for the same Electropoint who installed my charger.

I was quoted for a charger, pedestal and data cable, which was to be installed away from the house (and away from the wifi).

First appointment a friendly gentleman turned up, without a pedestal or charger. Told me the office was supposed to have phoned. He laid the cable, and when I asked whether the data cable was also laid, he informed me the office had decided I didn't need a data cable.

With regard to the pedestal, Jordan in the office told me the reason was someone had decided I wanted a more expensive one (which I didn't, and hadn't ever enquired about), and that I couldn't have one. So they hadn't sent any. He would arrange a new date to install the pedestal, and phone me back 'very shortly'. I am still waiting three weeks later.

I was sent an invoice, despite having no pedestal, charger or data cable.

Chasing them up several days later, Sophia told me a completely different story about the pedestal -that it simply hadn't been delivered- and that they would arrange one to be delivered soon, which they would then come and install along with the data cable, which of course would mean digging up the garden a second time. She would be chasing up the delivery that very day, and get back to me shortly.

Three days later I chased them up again, and by sheer coincidence they had just received word when the pedestal would arrive.

The second visit there were two different friendly gentlemen, who assured me I would be getting a pedestal and charger, as well as a data cable. They set the pedestal in concrete, and then had to nip to the shop because while it was a standard pedestal and a standard charger, they had not been provided with the right screws to attach the charger to the pedestal.

At the end of the visit they asked for the wifi password, and I reminded them the wifi does not reach the charger, which is why we needed the data cable. The friendly gentleman, like his colleague before him, advised me his boss told him not to install a data cable.

Chasing them up yet again, Sophia informed me she had 'gathered the facts', and proceeded to inform me the reason they had not installed a data cable was because the electricians had decided not to, because it was too far. This despite the fact that the data cable was to run to the same place as the power cable, and both electricians telling me their boss had told them not to install it. Clearly, someone was making things up.

Sophia also claimed that the electrician had determined there was good wifi signal at the charger. Which he hadn't, and there isn't. She then suggested I try simply connecting to this non-existent wifi (presumably then avoiding doing the work we agreed upon).

I had now spent two days accommodating an installation that was supposed to take one, had not received what we agreed, and I now had the office creating entirely fictional versions of events to try and avoid doing the work. This was completely unprofessional, as well as dishonest. I made a complaint, and Josh took over.

Josh arranged for one of the electricians to come back the next day to install the data cable, though didn't tell me what time he would be arriving. The friendly gentleman turned up again, dug up the garden again, explained it would be harder to put in the cable because the concrete had set, and then had to nip to the shops because he had been given a data cable, but not the ends required to plug said cable into anything. After several hours I finally had the set-up that was promised three weeks prior, and I only had to chase up 8 times.

Josh explained he felt Sophia coming up with a completely fictional version of events was not dishonest, rejected my complaint, felt it unfair my pointing out I was lied to, and seemed offended that I was not grateful they had eventually delivered what they should have delivered three weeks prior.
