Very poor - feel totally ripped off
Very poor. Originally booked to go in June which was cancelled. Re-booked as a birthday treat but then the time was changed with no explanation...until we arrived to find there were only 12 visitors, two of them being us!
The show was made up of two halves, starting in one of three themed bar visits offering expensive cocktails. Then into a 'studio' which was a large room with some vintage style furniture before going into another room where actors played out what was loosely based on Elvis' early life. Then to the next themed bar where we stayed for at least 20 minutes before going to the next 'studio' featuring a stage with large screen and several TV screens. Three musicians arrived and played along with footage of Elvis singing, mainly taken from the '68 Comeback Special. The musicians were good but would have been better if they were playing along with an Elvis impersonator not just video. Some 20 minutes later it was all over then on to another bar. At this point we had had enough and left. Absolutely nothing immersive about the show.
The staff, actors and musicians did their best but at £75+ a ticket we left feeling very disappointed, mislead and totally ripped off.
RUBBISH!! Misleading advertising, save your ££
Originally advertised as a Elvis hologram and you would feel like you were at the 68 comeback special, that's the only reason we bought tickets!!! Misleading advertising. A film you could watch at home & musicians u could see in your local pub!!! Don't waste your money!!!
The show was basically in 3rooms
The show was basically in 3rooms. Not at all as described. Story line was poor. Mainly one aspect of his life. Kept waiting for the best part of the journey, but it simply never happened ! Very amateur performances. Would not recommend especially for the cost of tickets.

Paid £75 based on advertising for a Hologram style immersive show.bought in 2024 This was appalling. Very shoddy show with some old video footage and a cardboard cut out of Elvis. Make sure you check what you are expecting
What a waste of money
What a waste of money. Having come from an event at the Excel, my family and I thought this would be a nice way to end the day off. 240 pounds. 240. Pounds. Is ridiculous for any show in my opinion - expected maybe £50 pounds per person and £150 in total. Why we said yes, im not quite sure. To summarise the experience, a low quality projector shows well known videos with amateurish acting. Seen better at my daughters school. Shes 13. Considering the age demographic the selection of presentation and the very loud noises is confusing to me. Most people are old pensioners, make it any louder your gonna send them into cardiac arrest. Pls dont go 😊. This got elvis turning in his grave and most of the oldies where on the brink of having a seizure.
Save your money and don’t bother - awful
Save your money. Underwhelming and expensive with very little actual Elvis content. If you are a fan you will have seen the images used many times anyway which have been recycled for this.
First half is a performance focussing on Elvis’ early years. It’s very loosely based on this, with poor sound quality and feeling like you are at an amateur dramatics play.
Second element consists of watching a short part of the 68 special - maybe 4 full of the shorter songs and “if I can dream”. You basically stand and watch the film projected onto a screen while actors pretend to be his band from the “in the round” section. Then follows a weird mash up of snippets of some of his bigger songs.
In between, all opportunities to sell you expensive drinks/photos/merch are taken.
Just awful - disappointing, feels cynical in how it’s marketed, and a waste of time and money.
SAVE YOUR MONEY
My wife went to see this and was so so disappointed. It’s vastly overpriced to watch a bunch of amateurs trying to act. Just keep your money and spend elsewhere, just anywhere apart from this abortion of a show.
The worst show I have EVER seen
The worst show I have EVER seen. A complete misrepresentation of what was advertised. I didn’t really want to give it even one star. Bought for friends for a 60th birthday - felt so embarrassed by the whole debacle and so upset that it was such a waste of money. Can’t believe the company is still advertising it - knowing how terrible the reviews have been.
This is my experience & opinion from 11th October 25
This is my experience & opinion from our visit to Elvis Evolution on Saturday 11th October.
Being a bit older we like to have time to eat & digest our food, we can't just Wolf it down like younger people anymore.
With this in mind we arrived 1hr 15mins early to give ourselves plenty of time.
We were turned away at the door & told to come back 45mins before, by the time we checked in, booked in our coats & used the restroom (It was a 2hr journey by car for us). We had about 25-30 mins. Not knowing how long it would take the food to arrive, say maybe 5-10mins & the fact they start calling people over about 10 mins before, it would have left us 10-15mins to eat. We barely had time to finish our drinks let alone eat, so needless to say we didn't eat.
Standing around the stage & watching Elvis & the band, was the best part for me, although we feel this would have been better if the same technology that was used in the train part, was used. Maybe with the musicians around the side, similar to the 68 special, so it looked more like Elvis was there instead of in the background. Our view was partially blocked of the big screen as one of the musicians sat directly in front of us, so we had to look at one of the smaller screens, which was almost like watching it at home. This only accounted for about 10-15 minutes though.
I was expecting more of a train carriage that we got in to, not a large room, that was reminiscent of a church hall, with the same uncomfortable chairs. We were at the Elvis week when someone from layered reality came & spoke about the experience, which is why we expected a train carriage & it was not how he described.
I don't know what I really expected, but this certainly wasn't it. I went with an open mind & knew after previous reviews it wouldn't be like abba voyage, not that I've seen it to be biased by it.
Overall having had to wait nearly a year from when I purchased my tickets as we were originally booked for May & this was the earliest we could rebook for, I was disappointed in the experience.
I can't fault the actors & the energy they put in, it can't be easy doing the same thing day in & day out, multiple times a day.
I'm a big Elvis fan & know his story, if I were new to Elvis this certainly wouldn't make me more interested in him, The Elvis film did more for me in that respect. I did infact feel more immersed in that at the cinema, than I did in this experience.
The food, drinks & merchandise were overpriced, which I expect & don't mind, if what I have been to see was good.
The after party was non existent. I'd actually paid for extra parking to be able to enjoy this & maybe have a couple of dances. The band was playing when we entered & sounded very good so we ordered our drinks, but they finished as we got them & didn't come on again in the 20 or so minutes we were there, by this time we'd had enough & went home.
I'm glad I went to see it, so I could form my own opinion, but I wouldn't do it again & it certainly wasn't worth the £75 per ticket we paid. I'm just thankful we didn't buy one of the more expensive packages.

Disappointing and mis-sold by the original advertising last year. The live band and actors did their best, but it was a waste of time and money for us. Especially as we travelled from Scotland to see the show. It was Elvis through the eyes of a friend and no new footage of him I hadn't seen many times.
Horrible
Horrible. Waste of time and money. Misleading.
Not what was advertised when purchased the ticket last year. Rip off.
This was incredibly disappointing
This was incredibly disappointing. Not worth the money. It was just snippets of the life of Elvis taken from the movie. Most of it was about his friend. There were 4 actors that could not be heard properly. At the end there was a disco that played Elvis music and a band. If you stayed it all just repeated. The singer in the band was reading the Elvis music from her iPad, very karaoke ish. I think people were so happy to have this bit to make I feel worth it. Better shows in west end for the money.
Truly Awful
First 45 minutes was amateurish with narration and movie clips. It had the vibes of a school play. The 20-30 minutes after the interval was OK but was just movie clips of Elvis with a few guys on guitars. The after party was fine when the DJ was playing Elvis songs but the live band was poor with the singer reading lyrics of an iPad.
Elvis Evolution – A Surprising, Immersive Tribute That Deserves More Love
After reading some of the scathing reviews, I arrived at Elvis Evolution expecting a letdown. Many seemed disappointed it wasn’t a holographic spectacle like ABBA Voyage, but that expectation misses the point entirely. This show isn’t about digital gimmicks—it’s about storytelling, atmosphere, and heart.
From the moment it began, the actors pulled us into Elvis’s world. Their performances were rich and emotionally grounded, especially in the scenes exploring his childhood. You don’t just watch the story unfold—you feel like you’re living it. The transitions between scenes were seamless and engaging, and the interval in a Hawaiian-style bar, complete with cocktails, added a playful, immersive twist.
The three-piece band was phenomenal, bringing raw energy and soul to the music. And the after-party? A delightful bonus that made the whole evening feel celebratory and communal.
This isn’t a show that needs VIP tickets—every guest is treated to a full, vibrant experience. Sure, it won’t please everyone, especially those expecting flashy tech. But for those open to a theatrical journey through Elvis’s life, it’s a gem. As someone who’s seen some truly outstanding productions, I was pleasantly surprised and would absolutely recommend Elvis Evolution.
Don't part with any money until you read the reviews waste of…
This has to be the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on tickets for any show.
The two hours were spent by the organisers trying to extract as much money out of your pocket that they could..
The actors and props were of a very poor standard.
It was so disappointing and was supposed to be a birthday treat for my wife
Read the other Trustpilot reviews before making the purchase because I wish I had!
Very disappointing
My husband and I and two friends went last week. We bought our tickets in 2024 so had been expecting an Elvis hologram. When we had to change our tickets earlier this year due to a supplier pulling out and it being postponed, we still weren’t aware there was no Hologram and moved our tickets to last week. When we found out there was no hologram, we have tried desperately to get our money back, but couldn’t.
So we arrived in the diner which was nice but overpriced. A lady there said she had just been through and thoroughly enjoyed it, so we were hopeful. However, as we went through and into the first room and the show began, all about Elvis not coming out of his room and this guy Sam turns up saying he was Elvis’ childhood friend. I’m sure Sam was a lovely person in life and I really don’t want to disrespect him or his family, but I don’t care about Elvis’ childhood friends, I’m not interested in their story, sorry. Lots of awful overacting about nothing, lots of running out of the room and back into the room! Awful. Then the train ride - couldn’t look less like a train if it tried! The sound here was sooooo loud, that you really couldn’t hear a word the actors were saying or shouting! It was way too loud and way too long. Some people walked out. The Hawaiian bar was very expensive £47 for cocktail pitcher! Oh, and don’t forget to have your picture taken with a cardboard cutout of Elvis! Why? The 68 Special room had 3 guys playing along to Elvis songs and the only Elvis was video footage.
Many people seemed to enjoy it but for us it was the most disappointing thing ever!
I only hope that Sam’s family are getting a huge payout for this as it’s clearly the Sam Story and not an Elvis Story.
Would I go again - absolutely not!
Was it value for money - absolutely not!
Would I recommend it - absolutely not!
Very poor
Very poor. Don’t waste your money. Actors were good and did their best!
Elvis Evolution
This is a truly awful show so much so that my husband thinks it is a disgrace to Elvis's name. We booked 4 tickets as two couples going. This meant we had a bad start to the experience as they would only allow us one souvenir programme which to be fair are very good quality and full of info. We asked for another as one can't be shared into two couples. This was refused but if we had booked separately we would have gotten one each. It took a rather heated discussion with the manager to get the extra one. The show consisted of actors telling us how Elvis wouldn't get out of his dressing room and a man acting as Elvis's childhood friend telling us how he felt. There was a make-believe train ride where the noise and music was so loud we couldn't hear the actors. When we finally saw Elvis he sung only a few songs and only one was sung to the end. Drinks in the Diner, cocktail bar and after show party were extortionately priced and the girl singer sung songs that mostly weren't those of Elvis and surely couldn't they have employed an Elvis impersonator. My advice is don't waste your money.
Total waste of money atrocious from…
Total waste of money atrocious from start to finish walked out before the end very poor they should shut it down gave one star not worth even one star Elvis will be turning in his grave
Utter S..t
This show has to be the biggest scam going to say I was disappointed is an understatement, I was left feeling ripped off and very angry. I would not send my worst enemy to it. I did not see anything that I could not watch on you tube the first 45 minutes was utter drool and very boring then pushed to a second room to watch an Elvis video projected on a wall utter shite. Drinks over priced food overpriced. Staff embarrassed. This should be shut down immediately. Stop ripping people off
