Its a shame that there are so many negative reviews about this experience.Yes if you go thinking your going to get an Abba Voyage hologram show, you will be dissapointed but if you go with an open mind... Voir plus
Absolutely terrible. Came out feeling very disappointed and underwhelmed. Don’t waste your money on it. Know more about Sam’s life than Elvis. Clearly didn’t have enough budget to get this right.... Voir plus
Overpriced rubbish It felt as if it was all just an excuse to get more money out of you. The entrance was the first of 3 bars you go to, the 2nd been the blue Hawaii interval bar and the 3rd was wher... Voir plus
Such a rip off!!!!
This is such a rip off I wish I’d read the reviews before we booked. This is just a projector playing videos you can literally find on YouTube with poor production value and overpriced drinks. The actors were great but with the production coming across to amateurish they were limited. The end of the show literally plays videos you can find on YouTube with a ‘band’ pretending to play instruments (yes, pretending!). Please avoid and don’t waste your money
Save your money and don’t go
The show is awful. Chaotic and not immersive at all. Has very little to do with Elvis. Don’t bother going - save your loney
Save your money
Save your money , not good . Very disappointed!! To give credit actors were brilliant .
Give it a try and make your own opinion!
We had read the reviews before we went and adjusted our expectations. We knew it was not going to be ABBA voyage, we also knew that it was an experience and not a ‘show’ per se.
From the moment we arrived we got into the swing of attending a comeback concert that Elvis was doing and we met Bob the owner of the diner. Due to nerves EP was struggling to come out of the dressing room (true story). We then were taken on a journey back in time to where EP was growing up and where his musical influences were coming from. It told the tale of friendships. It did show the evolution of EP from young boy to superstar. The grand finale was the concert which we were part of the studio crowd. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was different to what we had seen before and tbf we are all quite happy, positive people who enjoy spending time together and making the best out of every moment. We had a great day. Don’t let others reviews put you off.
Good night out
I really enjoyed the show started off a bit ropie. But once it got going it was enjoyable. Nothing about wife, lisa or any of the hangers on . Which was a good thing . The young actors gave a good performance the music video were good . Maybe a bit pricey. And I don’t think the holographic images are that great on other shows I’ve seen so wasn’t to disappointed they wasn’t there.
Not great!
Not immersive....just going between 3 rooms ! No appearance of an actual Elvis, band was good, Sam was good, cast tried very hard it NO LIVE ELVIS and certainly no holograms! ...watched loads of videos tho! Cocktail bar was fun! Overall very disappointing show but had good evening with friends!
Unfortunately not a great show
Unfortunately not a great show, to say the least.
I felt bad for the actors, as they were very talented, but were fighting a losing battle...the first half was poorly put together, hardly a peek of Elvis, just a vague overvue of his time spent with his best friend as young boys, then the second half was better, with a band of 3 musicians playing and performing really well, with a video running in the background of a few Elvis songs.
Very disappointing!
2 stars given purely for the actors..well done to you guys😊
Overpriced and underwhelming
Overpriced and underwhelming. Probably worth £20 per ticket. Vip tickets were £175 each an absolute rip off one for trading standards ! It was amateurish to say the least tacky scenery that you visited a ride on something like a ghost train and then 10 minutes of Elvis on the big screen and most fans have this at home. Not enough bar staff so you weren't able to get your drinks I the intervals. Originally when advertised it was falsely made to sound amazing very misleading. Put it like this Elvis had definitely left the building. So disappointed.
SCAM - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Not as originally advertised, there is no life-size Elvis hologram. Low-budget garbage.
Neither See Tickets nor Layered Reality (LR) informed customers that the format had changed from what was advertised.
LR hasn't even had the decency to retract any of the hologram claims they made during numerous interviews. They're all still out there for everybody to see, sucking in more and more victims. Disgrace!!
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, not the show that was promised, hardly any Elvis footage, expensive and a total waste of time.
My son bought as a birthday present for myself and what a total waste of time , actually it’s a disgrace to the memory of Elvis!!!!
This event is a disgrace
This event is a disgrace! We went on the 27th Sept I brought tickets for my daughters when tickets were released in Oct 2024. It was initially advertised as an ABBA voyage inspired event with AI and holographic images of Elvis. What we saw was 4 actors telling the story of Sam Bell the sets were cheap, no atmosphere, mediocre acting, the acoustics were terrible and then we saw about 10 mins of Elvis footage which quite frankly any Elvis fan has seen a million times before. It was a cringe fest and should be shut down. Whole thing is a rip off!!!
I was most disappointed
I was most disappointed I brought ticket in February 2025 .expecting to see AI and Hologram.. my ticket was for 16 August.. but on the 28th of July there was a family death . I tried to get a refund as I paid ticket insurance I thought it would be fine ,but I was refused a refund not once but twice. So I ended up going to the elvis evolution. And to say I was disappointed was an understatement.
There was no AI and no Hologram. So as far as I'm concerned I've even miss sold a ticket because it was not what it said it was . I asked for a refund once again and was refused once again . I paid ticket protection so the first time I asked for refund I should of recived it . I just want you to know its not worth the money .
It cost me £205 if I they had said there is no Hologram or AI back in February I would never of brought a ticket. People were rude , rushed you through so you missed the free drink you were ment to get . And in the next bar you never got a choice in cocktail as you free drink .it was what they wanted you to have . It was a blue drink with coconut wich I'm not aloud to have. Yet I never got offered another drink . So that was 2 of my free drinks I never got.
Avoid this show
I bought two tickets for this show as a present for my parents in November 2024. They attended on Saturday 27 September 2025. They described it as 'awful', 'very disappointing' and told me I had been 'conned'. They talked me through the 'experience' which appeared to have more emphasis on compelling audience members to buy merchandise and refreshments than the theatrical/musical experience. They described waiting in what was meant to be Elvis' dressing room, describing the items on display as 'tat' and having nothing particularly to do with Elvis. They told me the young actors' microphones weren't working, so they couldn't hear anything. They described live musicians miming to Elvis' comeback performance. My Dad described it as 'a total rip off' and was utterly disheartened and upset by it all considering the price of the tickets (£150 for two), the travel time from the Midlands and the cost of an overnight stay in a hotel in London. Having complained to Layered Reality, the production company, I've been fobbed off with a generic reply that claims my complaint is unusual in the light of the 'overwhelmingly positive feedback received from the majority of our guests'. I think it's obvious based on this review platform that they are liars as well as con-artists. Avoid and save money and upset.
Create show and day
Create show and day. Learnt a lot about the come back of elvis
The actors worked so well considering…
The actors worked so well considering the awful experience of the whole show. The production is way above crap. Stickers posters and photos I have myself.£70 a ticket, £6.90 for a small bottle of beer in the venue. I hope the staff well, it wont last long.
complete waste of money apart from the live cast who I wish all the best. I;ll do it round my house without the smoke and shakey seats.
Dont spend your money until its about £40, at that price you might feel robbed!!
Boy did you get this one WRONG!
Boy, did you get this one wrong!!
With all of the tech in the world today, you came up with something that should have been left on the drawing board for sure.
You had the material to do something special here, but for whatever the reason you thought this would be ok.
The cast did try but even they must be asking questions about the layout and content they have to work with.
We were moved around as if we were in an audience waiting for Elvis but in truth we were moved from one room to another in the hope of being entertained. The last room looked as if we were waiting on the 1968 comeback special but there was nothing special about this at all.
Very, Very disappointed
Stay clear of this one!!!!
Disappointed beyond words
Same as everyone else! Disappointed beyond words.... there is very little music, even less Elvis singing , little atmosphere and worth a third of the cost of the ticket at best
VIP experience
We bought the VIP tickets as I needed to ensure I had a seat. We’d seen the bad reviews but I think people were expecting ABBA Voyage which is not what was promised.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. We thought the actors gave their all. The mystery train and the story about Elvis’ friend I’d not heard before. It was great to hear a different perspective. The film created with the young boy, had the same clothes on as images of Elvis at that age so created very well. The mystery train, authentic smells and sounds very subtle but made the experience. I also loved when Elvis wasn’t coming out of the dressing room and there was the mirror and the actor. I’d have liked a bit more of the 68 special but time was obviously limited. People, including me, were dancing with the actors at the end of that section. We were a bit subdued when we came through to the bar, because of the ending which of course was about Elvis death, we soon though were dancing in the bar with others enjoying themselves.
As for the VIP package, we thought it was worth it. Guaranteed seats, three cocktails, beautiful detailed programme and the final touch, we each had a different photograph with us in an actual Elvis photo. We all got different ones which was a lovely touch. And on way out we also got a poster. I bought a hoodie from the shop, I did think some merchandise was over priced but at the end of the day all four of us had a fantastic time
.
I loved the idea and story line
I loved the idea and story line. Taking you back to EP’s childhood and meeting real people from his childhood.
The actors were great as was the musicians at the end. Please go and see. Ignore the haters!
