Called to book emergency plumber and was told 1hr arrival. I subsequently looked at the terrible reviews so I whatsapped a cancellation and called them. They confirmed they’d cancel the booking. 30 mins later they called saying plumber is 15 mins away. I said I cancelled it half hour ago. They said I’m not allowed to cancel and that the plumber will do the work. No matter how much I insisted I had already cancelled it, the woman insisted the plumber was coming into my house. I said she should have already cancelled him and to tell him not to come now if she hadn’t already, which she refused to do. I told her he wasn’t to do any work at my house and I had to hang up.
15 mins later the plumber arrives. Both 24H and the plumber were constantly calling my mobile. The plumber hung around my property for ages and then parked at the end of my street for about 30 minutes. I found this very intimidating. If I was an older person I would probably have been quite frightened.

I called for a plumber past midnight due to a MASSIVE LEAK I was having, thank God they answered and came quickly!!
He was such a gentleman and made sure everything was alright. I was quoted me £264 per hour and was provided with a detailed invoice the next morning!

Terrible experience with this company. Avoid at all cost. We organised for an emergency plumber, said it would be 30-60 mins. No show in this time frame. We called again, they said 2 hours. We checked we could get another plumber so called to cancel them. Then, their plumber turned up (despite us cancelling them for breaking the contract). So much abuse from plumber, would not leave my property, despite repeated requests. Called me all sorts of names and left me terrified of repercussions.

Would never use again. Work incomplete, problem not fixed. Plumber would not leave without payment which was extortionate. Customer Service ignore emails.

Called for a plumber as a crack had appeared in my shower tray - Advised £114.00 for the first hour including call out. At no point did anyone explain the subsequent charging profile. Plumber came - took 10 hours - at no point was there a duty of care to me as the customer to explain what the pricing would be - had I known it was £114.00 per hour I would have said, don't bother I'll get someone in to do it on a priced job basis. £1140 later (plus parts) - I called the company to try to reach a discount agreement given that they hadn't given me all the facts at the point of booking or at any point after that and, despite their webpage saying that the prices are "indicative" and "discounts can be applied" - they were not prepared to work with me. Yes the initial price had been provided - but the subsequent rates were not explained, and at no point in the day, despite getting regular whatsapp messages from their customer service did they check to see if I was comfortable with the price (that I wasn't given), yes, I should have, with hindsight, have asked for more detail but when you are in that situation you have a reasonable expectation that they will provide the information you need to make a decision - their website is deceptive - whilst they say that you can check the rates and they are clear - the word "rates" linking to the information is a tiny word at the very bottom of the page in the small print, absolutely appalling and dishonest. I have no issues with the work of the plumber who came and did the job well but the host company needs to be looked into by Trading Standards.

No show Oil engineer in promised 30-60 minutes
Promised Engineer in 30-60 minutes. After an hour I called 3 times to find out why a no show. Their system does not allow phone operator to see where the engineer is or to contact them - I was told only managers can see this information and call operators can only leave messages for managers to see. After nearly 2 hours from original call a manager called to say engineer C on their way by which time I had given up on them and called another service - at half the price! Avoid - high price and useless IT communication system!

Really quick call out. No un expected costs. A difficult situation was quickly resolved and great advised on the after care. I would definitely recommend them.
