Engine Reborn Ltd  Avis

Engine Reborn did a great job fitting a totally reconditioned engine following a disastrous blow out on our arrival back from France after a 10 hour drive. Mubi kept in touch throughout the process both on the phone and by email. The engine has now run in without any problems and in addition he fitted a refurbished hybrid battery . Always polite and helpful with the first service provided the day I asked for it. The price was reasonable and the job was done in good time. Electrical problems were quickly resolved although Toyota themselves have been less than helpful in resolving a false warning problem. Thanks for doing a great job

OMG! If your car /van is damaged, go to Engine reborn Ltd Repairs, and they will do a fantastic job.
The staff were friendly, Danny made me feel reassured, and he explained to me what he and his team would do.
The price was great and affordable!! when I got my van back, it was looking 'Brand Spanking New!' Even better than when I bought it!!
They finished the job on time as I needed the van to go on a job again.
Yes, I would definitely recommend you to use this service!
Great job guys many thanks!

wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional assistance Danny at the engine reborn provided us during our car repair. His understanding and patience with our requests made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.

Hi I forget to say most or all good reviews are put on by people they know .so they are not true !This so called company should be shut down as ripping people off ,what ever the quote you are giving will treble and a very poor job and you have to pay up front all the time they don’t use there own money it’s starts with a 40% up front of the quote and then escalates .The lies they tell to convince you to get more and more money .please be warned

My car had a serious problem after the timing belt snapped the engine was totally ruined, my local Honda Dealer quoted £18,000 to put it right I obviously told them where to go and started to surf the internet for a solution, with in a very short time I was contacted by Danny at Engine Reborn Ltd. Who said they could fix my car for £2495 they got the job, they arranged collection of my vehicle from Leicester and transported it to Essex.
Once my car was received they started to work on it only to discover the cylinder head was cracked therefore impossible to be able to seal it up.
Engine Reborne offered to replace or gave me the opportunity of tracing my self which I did.
It was then discovered that certain parts were missing unfortunately these were very difficult to find but Danny persevered and eventually found the parts he required and the job was completed.
I found Danny to be a straight up front guy who knew his business inside out. My car is running like a new one, I have no problems of endorsing this company 100% trust them with your vehicle you will not be disappointed

The engine is performing well after the rebuild

Danny and his team did a great job on repairing my transit engine after the cam belt snapped.
Danny is very knowledgable and communicative which is appreciated when sending a truck off to an unknown company.
I paid a lot more than expected, due to additional works needed, but was advised at every step and Danny did what he could to try and keep costs down.
Great guy and would recommend him.

Very good service up front with cost and when problems came up gave options to help with cost would recommend them to family and friends

Took on a difficult engine rebuild. Very fair pricing, transparent and communicative throughout the whole process. Thoroughly recommend the services. Thanks!

Hi I had a very poorly Zafira and knew it wasn't good so contacted Engine Reborn and was amazed how quickly it went along and before I knew it the car was being collected. The man who collected was brilliant and advised how good Engine Reborn was and how many cars they do. They kept me up to date all the way through the process and sent videos and photos which was also helpful. Now I did say I thought it was sickly and there was a lot more wrong with the car as I guessed. I spoke to Danny and he advised all that was wrong and even said i could get the parts if I felt I could get cheaper. I just got them to do what was needed and although it was a lot more I knew that these bits were not covered in the original quote. The information all the way through was 1st class and didn't even realise that the MOT had run out, but even this wasn't an issue as they just got it done for us. I was also away during the work being done and couldn't answer my phone all the time and even this wasn't an issue as they were very patient and precise. This company is very fast and will sort your car as i now have a car that works beautifully and my wife is over the moon so thank you guys. Thanks to the guy that collected and dropped the car off as great addition to the Engine Reborn Team as he was there exactly when he said he would be so built confidence. Thanks again Jamie and a happy Nikki

After a few issues Danni contacted me,dealt with me in a very polite, honest and professional manner
He offered to put all the issues right and also through in a free first service
As a tradesman I understand there always is one job that doesn’t go quite to plan,it’s what you do about it afterwards is the issue,Danni has been exemplary, honest and professional and I thank him for that
Im a qualified boat engineer with 30 years experience and have rebuilt many an engine over the years and feel I can offer a professional opinion on the engine that engine reborn reconditioned on my van
The engine is well built, performs and sounds brilliant, generally a recon engine performs even better after ‘running in’
Fuel economy has improved drastically too
A couple of quite poignant questions :
If my engine failed on my 2nd vehicle would I use engine reborn again?
Definitely yes, their professionalism and honesty has definitely been proven
Would I recommend engine reborn to family/friends and even my own customers?
Definitely yes,see above

I have a Toyota Avensis verso (2003)
With 103,000 miles plus on it.
Had issues with big oil leaks everywhere.
I decided to fix it rather than buy another second hand car with its own unknown problems.
As i know my car well and have done a lot of work on it myself.
Plus its ULEZ exempt.
I searched online and came across Engine Reborn Ltd within my budget Which had good reviews and i took the plunge and took my car there after initial quote to have the engine stripped and rebuilt.
They can arrange for tow truck - so i didn’t have to. And it was a quick and convenient process to get the car there.
Danny (the owner) sent videos of different stages of work.
You have to understand that once they open engine up they may find other hidden problems (which are only apparent once you start stripping parts)so be prepared to pay for additional parts if needed to do the job properly (this is not a cheap quick fix job)
I did have major problems internally with engine, namely crack in cylinder head and cylinder block liners damaged and a few other things. And advised on other parts.
I was disappointed and the thought of “here we go , this is how they make their money” crossed my mind.
But if you think about it , they are doing what you asked them to do- Rebuild your engine!
Maybe i didn’t realise that it would cost me much more than initial quote but YOU have to read the paper work properly and have leeway to pay for the unforeseen.
Danny is an honest straight forward guy that is very proud of his engine work and truly believes in giving the customer what he promises and tries to be as transparent and helpful as he can in a very busy place.
He quickly found the parts for my car which are very hard to source and did the extra leg work to get the job done.
All in all it cost a little more than i wanted but the car runs beautifully and no more anxiety and oil puddles on my driveway…should be good for another 100,000 miles…as i will maintain it better than previous owner did…
If you want your engine rebuilt, then Engine Reborn is as good as any…

Don’t use this service it’s not good take your £1000 deposit then collect the vehicle then send out contact information for you to sign then they tell you you have got to pay twice the amount they said in first place and the answer is read contact got you by the….. you don’t get any money back he tells you you may owe more mental

I had full engine rebuild and the guys were very helpful and advised me along the way

WORLD CLASS ENGINE RECONDITIONING SPECIALISTS.

Thank you to Danny and All the Team at Engine Reborn Ltd

Best Wishes,

My car was in with 4 garages prior to taking it to Danny at Engines reborn Ltd, within a week he had told me the issue and how we could get the car sorted and back on the road, really impressed with the level of communication on the works progress, would definitely recommend to everything, Danny did his upmost to help and accommodate my budget

I have just gone through a difficult period of the true cost of my car. Having broken my 3 litre engine I went to EB Ltd and they did work wonders on it. But to any one going down the engine rebuild route, please be aware that the costs do mount upon when they break open the block. Having said that, EBL were excellent with their communication, advising as to the progress and giving video evidence. Their pricing (although always going to be painful) was fair and clear. They were also open to challenge and compromise.
On balance, a fair and honest company which can be trusted to deliver.

Being a cab driver, I used many mechanics, these guys done my car gear box and done a wonderful job. Very honest and professional people. Hats off guys, keep it up and thanks from bottom of my heart.

Engine Reborn Ltd brought my 2012 Toyota Prius back to life through reconditioning / replacement parts of the engine. Their reconditioning and parts replacement has given second life to my toyota prius engine, and i drove back 80 miles and it ran perfectly with no previous issues it had in sight. Communication was proactive, the turnaround time reasonable, and their transparent approach was appreciated, they also provided a pick up service which is great as its hard to find ! Driving post-reconditioning is an absolute pleasure. I admit I was hesitant at first to get my engine reconditioned but I can say I recommend Engine reborn LTD for anyone seeking top-notch vehicle restoration , they put your worries at ease by sending videos and photos of the vehicle.

I would like to thank Danny and his team at reborn for doing a first class service on my F-Pace jaguar … They did a rebuild of the engine and kept me updated all way with videos and messages of the progress…I’ve had the car back three weeks now and it drive a 110% thanks again brilliant job done
