When asking for bank details there is no box for the actual bank name, only the BSB. I could not find where, after signing the return, I could print a paper copy of the return

Etax makes my life so much easier at tax time. They are fast, professional and know their stuff. Their review process is very detailed. Watching the refund go up and down on the estimate calculator can be a roller coaster at times but I do like that I can engage in the process. The back up support is amazing too. Just drop a message any time and it is never a bother to them to look into things. Finally, price is unbelievably affordable. My tax is never straight forward as I am employed and have other business activities. But they somehow bring it all together. I have used etax now for I think 4 years. I highly recommend them. Give them a go and I am sure you will be as impressed as I am.

Unhelpful.
Unhelpful.. they do not respond to questions I asked.
They dont respond at all.
I habe missed out on claims I could have made because they were not willing to communicate with me when asked questions.
I asked to withdraw my claim as I wanted to go elsewhere but it was lodged without my final consent or answering the questions I asked.

Hi Andrea,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. What you described is genuinely not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we're truly sorry it came to that.
We're really glad one of our senior accountants had the chance to connect with you directly, go through your return together and offer a resolution to your concerns.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make it right. We're glad our team were able to take care of everything discussed, and genuinely hope your opinion of Etax has improved since you wrote your review.
Kind regards,

Time to switch online accountants
Used to be good but just degraded over time.
The interface looks like a website from 2010, the system bombards you with "Urgent Responses Needed" but theres nothing to address when you login. Emails to there admin@ and messages via the internal portal go unanswered until they finally send you something to repond to.
This year they sent me an email in June saying I could do it early, so i tried. It's now the 10th and it's still not lodged.
Going else where next year, maybe use some of the money you make on UX and Support staff. Just an idea.

I have using Etax for years now and they never disappoint. My tax return is always higher then if I were to do it myself. I fill out most details and leave some things that I'm not sure on for Etax to fix up or clarify. Great to also have a section for additional questions or when lodging. Great all round service!
