Went for flu & COVID vaccine
Went for flu & COVID vaccine. Had been booked in for a while.However, when I went , they did not have the COVID vaccine. Some oversight in ordering. Very disappointing & doesn't instill confidence.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience caused when you arrived for your COVID vaccination.
COVID vaccine stock is controlled nationally by the NHS team, and unlike flu stock, which we manage ourselves, we weren’t provided with sufficient COVID stock to cover all booked appointments. This has already been fed back so the issue can be reviewed for future allocations.
We do now have COVID vaccine stock available, and you’re very welcome to come in for your vaccination if you would still like to have it.

Poor customer care
My wife and I had pre booked our Flue Jabs with our local Everest Pharmacy. When we arrived for our appointment we were told that due to high volumes of "walk ins" yesterday that would couldn't receive our vaccinations.
We were asked our ages ,which should not be relevant in our case .
What is the point of a booking system if vaccines are not reserved to fulfil them.
Poor customer care.

Thank you for letting us know, and I’m really sorry for the experience you and your wife had when attending for your pre‑booked flu vaccinations. You should never be turned away from a confirmed appointment, and I’m sorry this happened.
I completely understand your frustration. A booking system is there to guarantee your slot, and your ages should not have been a factor in this situation. The high volume of walk‑ins yesterday should not have affected your appointment, and I’m sorry that it did.
We will be asking the branch to rearrange this as soon as possible and to ensure your vaccinations are prioritised. We’ll also review how bookings are managed so this doesn’t happen again.

Lets hope its teething troubles at Carleton Pharmacy
Not a good start for Everest at Carleton Pharmacy. Sent the wrong brand of tablets and only 12 of something else when there should have been 24!
We're used to an excellent service in the past. Lets hope it teething troubles.
And stop sticking so many extremely sticky labels on everything with tiny tiny print on them.
Edit: after a bit of toing and froing everything was resolved and former details back on my record thank you.
Communication is important and the system has to work for the patient not the other way round.
10 out of 10 for the drivers though.

Injection site not sterilised
Having finally got a firm COVID-19 vaccination appointment (another story) , the experience on the day was OK but what surprised us was that the vaccination site on the arm wasn't cleaned before the injection, the first time ever in a long history of needle intervention that this has happened.

UK Green Book guidance confirms that if the skin is visibly clean, it is not necessary to cleanse the area before vaccination, which is why the process may sometimes look a little different.

Everest is a no go
Since Everest took over Carleton pharmacy it has gone down hill completely. ie not enough tablets for your prescription, no delivery, not answering the phone,lack of staff. We have had fantastic service with Carleton Pharmacy but now with the takeover with Everest we will be using another pharmacy

Had to go to pick up my prescription…
Had to go to pick up my prescription not by choice as I do not use this pharmacy usually. I had told the doctor I don't want to Get my medication from there but he insisted they would have what I needed.
I went to ask if my prescription was ready but Ellie said that they would have to order it in as they didn't have in what i needed. Hence why I do not use this place!
When she said that I just turned away and started walking to the door, Ellie shouted across the shop " you're welcome! " so I said f you as I was going out of the door. She then proceeded to tell me I could go elsewhere! She then rang my doctors and told them complete lies! She provoked me by being sarcastic as I walked away. I didn't say anything to her face she is awful

Seen promptly and pharmacist was professional and efficient. He answered questions competently and organised for us to have private influenza vaccinations. First class service and would recommend the pharmacy to others.

An informative and friendly service
An informative and friendly service . Easy to make an appointment and was seen promptly on arrival. I was having a Blood pressure monitor fitted and the process was clearly outlined. I received similar professional treatment when I returned the following day. The results were explained and possible next steps explained.

Worst pharmacy I have dealt with
Worst pharmacy I have dealt with. Repeat prescriptions are not dealt with they just sit in them for weeks at a time constantly having to chase for missing medicine.
Don’t bother rining you when they don’t have stock and that’s always avoid at all cost.

Refused to sell cold/flu medicine
Refused to sell me cold medicine for a cold: the young lady at the till asked my symptoms loudly in front of other customers and then told me to take paracetamol and drink water because cold medicine is addictive. I just needed a decongestant, not to be accused of being an addict.
