Tried using Express Scripts twice
Tried using Express Scripts for the first time nine years ago and they sent my daughters controlled prescription to our old house which we had never use this address or ever used Express Scripts service. Try again to use Express Scripts three months ago. My order was OK but I had to upgrade to overnight shipping to get my medicine that they sat on for seven days. Tried to use Express Scripts last Friday, once again, my order sat in processing for the last five days, but they charge my credit card the very next day when I called in I talked to the rudest and most condescending customer service person in the world. The supervisor that I requested to speak to was very nice and was able to help me cancel my order. Now I have to wait 48hrs for my prescriptions to be released and to add insult to injury I am out of some of my heart and diabetes medication. I will never use Express Scripts again and I hope you don’t.
This company is horrible
My company switched to Cigna a couple of years ago and we were also forced to use Express Scripts Pharmacy. My experiences have been nothing but an exercise in frustration. They have messed up my prescriptions too many times to count and calling customer service is a joke. If you have a choice do not do business with this company.
From 90 to 30 days! Not even covered!
A drug I've taken for over 20 years and always paid for in groups of 90 day supplies is all of a sudden not covered. Worse than that - they are forcing the drug store to limit me to a month's supply and I have to renew 17 times! I'm getting out of here as soon as I can.

I’ve been getting the run around for 3 weeks. In trying to get my prescription. The consultant that answers the phone is inept, the pharmacist cannot look up anything and the technician promises it’s solved but it never is.

Delayed Delivery
It took much too long to receive my medication. My Dr submitted a new prescription on March 21 and I did not get it in the mail until April 1. Fortunately I had a backup, but that could have been a critical situation.
They use DHL for shipping, which I didn't even know was still in business.
Last year my RX plan used CVS mail order pharmacy, which I was very happy with, I never waited more that 3 days for meds to arrive.

After my insurance company changed from the CVS Caremark for home delivery to Express Scripts, it has been over 60 days and still have not received my scripts. I am so glad that I had extra from a mistake with the prior mail order service,
Terrible
Terrible. They will just not deliver your medication, when you call to report this they refuse to do a single thing to track it down and get it to you, and refuse to send a replacement until 30 days has passed. It should go without saying that 30 days, plus an additional shipping period, is an unacceptable amount of time to wait for necessary medication, yet this has happened twice now with two different meds. My insurance company used to run its own home delivery pharmacy with good service, but it has gone so far downhill since Express Scripts took over that I am looking to switch.

Horrible, the service of the reps at Accredo. If i could give zero stars, that still wouldn't be correct for the service I've received.
They Suck!
I have yet to get an order from there that didn't involve some sort of screw up and me having to call them multiple times. I have one medication I depend on that is hard to get so I am stuck with them. Last month it took 5 phone calls and arrived 23 days after I ordered it, and 10 days after I had run out. This month they cancelled my meds bcz they didn't have the generic (but the DID have the brand). No phone call. Nothing. After finally getting it resubmitted they said they needed 5 additional business days to fill it. That was 8 days ago. Express Scripts causes me so much stress every month! They have no idea what they are doing.

They make a difficult situation worse with extremely bad, inconsistent communication.
1. I cancelled a prescription by mistake Fri. I realized immediately it was a mistake, called, got reinstated so it's in process again, I think.
Tue. their site says it's still cancelled. Again, call, get back in process.
Today, Thur., call and am told it is in process. So WHY DOES SITE SAY IT'S CANCELLED IF IT'S IN PROCESS, I ask. The guy tells me it's because it's in process. HUH!!!!???
2. I get email saying they can't fill a different prescription due to not available and that they've tried to contact my doc about this unsuccessfully. That's ALL the email says. I go to their site and it says "Waiting for information from you" but doesn't say what info. So I call, ask what info they want, and find out they want the doc to say what med to use instead. FINE. BUT WHY DON'T YOU SAY THAT IN YOUR EMAIL TO ME???
I've had to make so many calls to them JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T SAY WHAT THEY MEAN, either on their site or in their emails. It's nuts!

Simply put they want to kill the people. Can't get a prescription in a timely manner, over charges for copay, won't acknowledge when an order is cancelled and won't acknowledge requests in change to customer profile. STAY AWAY.

I was provided inconsistent information. The information changed with each person with whom I spoke. I later learned the first person had not submitted the prior authorization. I later learned from a supervisor that a prior authorization submission to the physician was not necessary. She said it could be done immediately by agent inputting certain information to which a response is immediate. In this case it was a denial after several phone calls to them and me contacting the doctor multiple times.
It was a waste of time for all involved.
Express Scripts - continuing decline to an F
For five years, I have been on the same medication dose and frequency. Every time I have to order my medication there is a delay. It almost seems like resistance, because the delays are getting longer and longer. I am terrified of running out of medication each and every time. This time it was going to be a month or more until I once again responded with anger. I hate this path, plus it makes my blood pressure go to levels that put me in bed. Express Scripts needs a new process or better yet go back to your original process of 6 to 10 years ago. As of now, your company gets an F. Why would you put an automatic hold of two weeks on a prescription then another two weeks plus to proces and mail. I have immersed myself in your process so that I could comply with all your rules. What are you doing wrong? Where are you coming up short and how can you do better. What can I do, short of calling my attorney?

If I could give zero stars I would. Would not fill prescription without prior authorization. Was directed to moda who also called on my behalf. Given rude rude responses from Stephanie (calling herself a supervisor) who refused to contact or give her number so that a moda rep could speak with her. Moda was given another number for me to contact to give some more information to let them authorize the (eczema cream!). I spoke with Keisham who literally laughed in my face and said they didn’t want information from me and that I would need to contact my doctor to provide them more information. Come on! This is literally a scam based business. How can the city of Portland contract with them? They are red flagged by the BBB and have leagal action pending for shady and unauthorized, uncontracted withholding of meds.
Inept - Poor communication
OMG!
I have been trying to get two different medications filled now for several months. One is an alternative for the other. For both of these medications, Express$hits keeps bouncing the status from 'In progress' to 'Need more information'. When in 'Need More Information' they say they need more information from the doctor. I have my doctor call them and it gets resolved. But in day or two - it is back to 'Need more information' requesting different info from the doc. Both of these medications have cycled through these two statuses 3-4 times. I have now been trying to get either of these medications for several months.
I sent them an email a few days ago and got a voicemail back sending they would send me an email. They never did
Frustrated with their Response times
I have been with Express scripts for the past 3 years as prescription service provider.
They are extremely slow and casual about how they fill people's prescriptions.
They take forever to fill the prescriptions.
Every time they receive a new prescription from the doctor they keep asking doctors for useless clarifications and put the orders on-hold. These issues never get resolved unless you make multiple calls to them. Even when you make these calls it is very difficult to reach a pharmacist and it is very frustrating.
Feels like I am dealing with some type of bureaucratic governmental agency.
Unfortunately I am stuck with them as this is the only option available thru my employer which is also the reason they can get away with this type of poor service.
