So far so good but we haven't got to the end of the road yet. This review is just based on the excellent communication I have been getting and the simplicity of moving forward with potential claims. Minimal effort on my part which is what I needed as I don't have time to do it myself. Time will tell if anything comes of it.

I was wondering wether to look into this with reports of banks ripping people off , then received information from Fair , and too right it was so simple to get the ball rolling 2 maybe 3 minutes , then they kept me super informed on what was happening , 48 hours later got 4 to check out already 🙂happy days

I have never taken out car finance but...

I have never taken out car finance yet this outfit have sent me a letter stating unequivocally that I have. It even says how much I may be eligible for in compensation!
These are big fat lies and therefore misleading in order to sell a service that I would never need.
Reported to ASA.
Updated 8/5/2026 - In reponse to reply from this company, this is what it says word for word in the letter; "When you took out your car finance, you potentially paid a hidden commission on your loan, which meant you paid more than you needed to."
This is totally untrue as I have never used finance for a car purchase, therefore you ARE making unequivocal statements that are 100% false.
By your own admission in your reply you're saying that if it does not apply I can discard it, so then there is no excuse for sending marketing material addressed specifically to people by name that has blatantly untrue statements about them in it, in other words big fat lies.

This marketing is targeted at consumers who previously entered into car finance agreements, however, if this does not relate to you then you can discard the marketing material.

Shady company who bought our details

We got a letter today from Fair, saying we might have been mis-sold car insurance between 2007-2024. 1) We’ve never owned a car 2) it had our full details and we’ve never heard this company so they’ve clearly bought our details. Don’t trust this company and their shady business practices.

I do not trust this business

I do not trust this business. Letter received today with two incorrect statements on it. First states they contacted me as I signed to share information - this is not factually correct I assist many people with online security and would never myself sign away my details. Secondly states they got my details from Experien - this is impossible as my details are in a "locked" status so they would not be revealed. Furthermore the legal requirement to advise potential clients that they could do the service themselves for free is there - but it is in tiny print and is printed white on blue which is almost impossible to read. This sort of behaviour is simply unacceptable. Don't forget everyone - you can do this yourselves for free and it is really easy and you don't end up handing over a big percentage of any payout - I feel so sorry for all the people who left positive reviews without realising they had handed over maybe 30 to 40 percent of any payout for the sake of simply contacting their finance provider themselves with a quick email.
FURTHER TO THE RESPONSE: I already subscribe to the mail preference system so please do not preach to me - others have commented in the same way about the appalling tactics - I have considerable doubt that you care about the impact you have on people and their privacy and suspect this is just phishing for business from the unknowing who do not understand they can make claims for free -and your reference to it is essentially illegible - show some self-respect and just say you got it wrong and that you won't do it ever agin - but of course you will not do that as mass-mailing hoping to catch someone who doesn't know any better appears on the face of it to be just a part of this kind of business

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY SOMEONE FOR PCP CAR FINANCE CLAIMS.

While I know it's not illegal to send marketing mail, how dare you send out such trash about the recent car finance issues when it can be done for free AND car finance companies themselves must put in effort to find rightful claimants. Trying to profit up to 30% off these claims is vulturous, manipulative, disingenuous and disgusting. Couldn't even spell the recipient name correctly.
