I have a problem with my boiler, which works intermittently. I booked an appointment with FairFix, which replied confirming date and name of the person who would come and check it. The appointed person (I'll call them "John Doe", not their actual name) did not show up to the appointment. Someone called hours later saying they were covering for John Doe and arranged a visit. The visitor told me the boiler CPU was broken and it was going to make more sense to get a new boiler. They offered me their phone number. I asked them what their name was, to add it to the agenda. Reply: "John Doe". To my surprise, when I showed him the confirmation message with the same name they replied "must have been another John Doe" (the real name was not as generic). I now don't trust the advice I received, considering the circumstances. I feel it's all down to luck on whichever third party they decide to give the job to. I'm considering looking for another firm that I would trust more, as I've currently paid for the £139 flat fee and the problem has not been solved.

I posted a job on My Builder to fix my boiler, this company answered, I late realised that I spoke with a call centre not an angeeneer, despite I wasn't sure about this, I let one of their engineers to come for an estimate, he arrived 5 h later repect the arranged time, the following day I contacted the call centre to speak with an engineer for the estimate..... engineers not available 30 h later had an email with the estimate, called the call centre to discuss the estimate to see if replacing the boiler would be a better option ...guess what ?! No engineers available so I have been 3 days without a working boiler and this company did nothing to help.

I spoke to Tye, who was so good at what he does, and diagnosed my boiler over the phone! He sent someone over to check and it was confirmed.
Ssoon after, the heating was back on. A big tip: leave the company to buy the parts; don’t do what I did and buy parts yourself! Totally recommend company and would use again! They have a no fee callout! Rare these days!

Tye is great - very efficient and helpful. He ended up helping us with 3 boiler issues in a week at different properties.

Brilliant service, My boiler had broken down and needed someone to repair it on short notice. FairFix was incredibly helpful and managed to send an engineer less than 24h hours after, and was incredibly flexible with the timing as I had ordered the spare part separately and it was still due to arrive.
The engineer was knowledgeable, open and very skilled. Pricing was very transparent and competitive.

My boiler broke down and was struggling to find someone who could come and fix my hot water and heating on short notice. I found these guys online and decided to give them a go as they have positive reviews everywhere.

They were incredibly helpful, managed to have someone come over on a Saturday and fixed my boiler, with very transparent pricing. Very pleasantly surprised, and can highly recommend!

I was impressed that the man took his shoes off.
He came on time and he done a very good job. I would of given a 5 star but the man did not sweep the dirt on the floor. I would recommend the workers to have a broom and dust pan. I would definitely use this company again. And I would recommend the company to friends.

The engeneer was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt, explained everything amd changed the parts needed.

The boiler was up and running within 3 hours of my posting the service request. The engineer arrived within half an hour. He had to visit the plumbing merchant twice in order to install the correct part but fixed the problem. As I had to pay for the parts, the cost ended up being almost exactly the same as with Vaillant's truely fixed price repair but it could have been much more or less, depending on what parts are needed. On the other hand, my guess is that Vaillant would probably have been a lot slower to get the job done.

This company is a shambles. It says No fix No fee but I would like to add to it NO SHOW. Despite confirming booking by email and text they did not turn up. When I called they said they will call back but no one did. I then texted them to remind them about my appointment and still no reply. Just a complete bunch of Cowboys. I came all the way from north London to South London to get my boiler fixed and they didn't even bother to let me know that they could not keep to the confirmed appointment. Watch out people. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour.

On time, efficient, tidy, took the time to explain clearly & a fair price too.

Simple to the point and everything gets done right.

Despite coming later than allotted time by an hour the operative diagnosed the issue immediately and once purchased the part fixed efficiently with care and attention. He was also very pleasant to deal with.

The plumber arrived same day although he was bit late arriving from another job, he was a life saver as he was immediately able to identify the gas problem and reactivate my boiler so it was useable again. The plumber arrived with the right tools to investigate the gas leak problem and was able to offer an explanation unlike the previous plumber that just shut down the boiler without bothering to identify where the fault was coming from. Very helpful and friendly service with fast response from the company too as well as affordable pricing.
