It was good, good to have the compare option, would have liked to be able use my discount code because it was over £500 at £535 but the discount code only applied for the tower itself being over £500 but mine was £489, other than that, easy enough to navigate and use and view items.

It looks like a good climbing frame and we're really looking forward to putting it up. We live in a not particularly remote part of Scotland but somehow were in the most expensive zone for delivery, and I nearly didn't go ahead with the purchase because of this, but couldn't find anything else that felt quite right. The chat was helpful (digital and human).

The positive reviews for this company are pure lies or misdirection. Most of the positive ones are about how easy the site is to navigate and the choices available. Seriously??? Where are the reviews about the products themselves - NONE are from people who have actually built the climbing frames. So you need to listen to me now, because I've bought the Fatmoose TikaTake Town XXL with Surfswing, so I know what I'm talking about.
Let me tell you from more than 30 hours of experience of putting this shambolic product together, it's a LOAD OF RUBBISH!!!

Summary - do not buy this unless you are a professional carpenter with a lot of time on your hands and can solve design flaws.

Where do I start?

Firstly we had key pieces of wood missing, some really important ones like the cross bar of the A frame that holds the swing up. Then, mould. About 20% of the wood was very mouldy - a horrible green that was very obvious even from a distance. Then the wood is not predrilled, so for every screw to put in (hundreds of them) there are an equal number of holes that need to be drilled. This takes HOURS and you'd better have two drills!

The worst part though is the swing section.

Held by a single 10mm bolt at one end and a dazzlingly complicated group of blocks at the other that don't fit well at all, there is no design logic at all to this. I've had to buttress both ends with thoughtfully positioned blocks to maintain integrity and keep users safe.

The swings are really thin - the official rating is up to 70kg but I doubt it and have strengthened the swing seat with spare wood I keep for projects.

And the rating on the slide is 50kgs so say goodbye to any teenager using it, and defintely say goodbye to an adult getting on the play structure to engage with their younger children. That's HALF the fun ruined right there.

Construction time - it's taken about 3 weekends so far to build (and I'm pretty competent at building things) and we're still not finished. Its been a miserable experience and frankly the thought of having to spend yet another weekend building it fills me (and my wife) with dread.

We'd never consider this had we known what was going to be delivered.

What I would improve if this were my company
- increase the weight bearing of the slide and swings
- redesign how the swing section puts together to make it easier and safer to construct.
- strengthen the platform by making the floor pieces at least 50% thicker
- predrill the holes meaning all that's needed is to screw the screws/bolts in - that would save hours of construction time
- improve the instruction manual, better yet, make a video of how to do it, pop it up on YouTube and share a scannable code in the instructions.

To summarise - all you're getting with this product is a lot of wood that you need to be prepared to invest many hours of valuable family time to put together.

Had a slight problem when using Samsung Internet to make my purchase but was advised by the chat to change so used chrome and I was able to complete my purchase no problem, looking forward to seeing my boys face when the climbing frame arrives.
