I wrote a review over a month ago explaining my bad experience from this company.
It is now a month since I had my laptop eventually returned to me after a 2 month wait of silence. Today, I wanted to finish the review I started before.
Having had it back, I can see that the files I was promised to be returned with "an 80% retrieval" and that "the company worked miracles", no files were recovered at all for the £920 I paid for this 2 week service. Not only that, but I have since discovered that multiple other files that were not missing when I sent the laptop off to you, have since gone missing since my laptop was returned. I know it wasn't me!
I have mentioned the engineer went on holiday without letting me know there would be delays. Human decency surely would've maybe suggested reaching out? Clearly, I'm old fashioned!
I'm not going to go into all of what I did before- just wanted to point out, the company has removed files that were already on my laptop and I haven't got a thing from this experience.
Finally, I posted my original reviews on here and Google Reviews. To give them their dues, the company reached out saying they would get in touch with me. That was July. Still nothing. A couple weeks later, my Google review was also answered- this time telling me to contact them and ask for customer services. I did just that only to be told "we don't deal with that".
Now I know this is a closed case, but I have been meaning to write this for some time. I can't imagine I will get anything back- as we'd just be going around in circles wouldn't we? I would love a refund, but I can't see that happening as "we don't deal with that".
But I would urge you, please don't make other customers suffer the way you have done to me. I will never use your services again. I have had a horrible year with car bills and a mental breakdown too. This is cathartic writing this now. This will no doubt be deleted, but I wanted to do this. Thanks for your time.

Ze hebben werkelijk gratis een diagnose uitgevoerd en inzichtelijk gemaakt wat er te redden viel. Dus bestandsnamen etc...
Dit gaf ons de kans om te zien wat we al aan back up hadden gemaakt en of het loonde om de harde schijf te herstellen.
In ons geval bleek dat niet te lonen qua kosten maar dat kon alleen maar vanwege de diagnose die ze hadden uitgevoerd. Daar had op ik opzich ook voor willen betalen maar het bleek daadwerkelijk gratis inclusief het verzenden van de harde schijf (en deze terug te ontvangen). Ondertussen werd er zo transparant mogelijk gecommuniceerd door de medewerker te Amsterdam; Richie Vangeel.
Kan niet anders dan dit bedrijf van harte aanbevelen.

I am glad that most, not all, the files on the dead Seagate Free Agent Pro external drive were retrieved.
For the money I paid I was expecting that.
Yes it was an expensive cost but I am quite happy to have access at files that I considered lost for good.
I word of advice: Do not buy Seagate's externa drive.
They all fail and to recoup the files you have to pay three if not more , the price you paid for the driver.

They got all my data back! Very quick, excellent communication so one very relieved bunny. It was a failed external hard drive containing precious stuff so the pressure was on. More expensive than I expected but quality work. Hard lesson but Fields takes the credit.

Very user friendly service before, during and after re-establishing my iMac data. Not cheap but less expensive than competitors.

The cost for recovery of a hard drive was huge, and a lot more than we were expecting - close to 1000 pounds for 200GB of data. The files were made available quickly, but there was a time limit for download which made life awkward for us to find a way to securely and quickly get the files back. So a quick service, but very expensive and not very user friendly

Duidelijke communicatie over wat je kunt verwachten. Tussendoor ook regelmatig telefonisch contact over stand van zaken. In mijn geval konden ze de data niet met zekerheid herstellen. Duidelijk de kosten vermeldt en dat ze geen garantie konden bieden. Heb zelf de keuze gemaakt om het niet te laten herstellen. Geen kosten hoeven te betalen. Ik kan iedereen aanraden om met dit bedrijf in zee te gaan. Topservice.

Simple, straightforward process and communications.
Price is high for a home computer recovery but the service was top notch.

Had a hard drive with family photos going back years. All the photos of the kids growing up, holidays etc. hard disk died. The lads managed to retrieve all our precious photos. We're very grateful. Top marks.

Great as always, Managed to get critical data back and crisis averted. Took slightly longer than expected due to a mix-up/miscommunication RE Service Level/speed selected but all in all good service.
