The free diagnostic gave assurance that the data on a failed drive could be recovered. Once that was completed, the data recovery was fast, complete and a replacement drive was with me within 4 days.

Fields Data like most places, offer a free diagnostic before agreeing to continue work with them. The reason Fields Data stood out more to me was there more 'human' like approach to picking up the phone and talking over my questions and reassuring me with their knowledge on the matter. Data recovery will very rarely be less than 800 pounds, tax included, don't be fooled by the qouted price. My data was retained from Logic Projects which has special data inside, I was pleasantly surprised that most my files worked despite having to back up a few missing sectors of Logic Projects. The key is to have 'not so old' versions of everything if you don't mind putting in the work to recover newer ones and adapt later down the line.

An excellent recovery job after I had limited success with another company. First-class customer service during all parts of the process. The recovered data was worth much more to me than the price charged for the job. Fields Data Recovery UK is highly recommended by me!

This Company is ignoring all sent mails to them and too holding my Hard Drive falsely as it was agreed initially all would be sent back to me but just are keeping my personal data, they have not provided a decent service at all to me and now am forced to go to court to get my goods back as this is completely wrong and fully against consumer rights and initial contract. I have constantly asked 15 times now and am fully ignored from getting my own hard drive sent back to me....I suggest don't use them as they are not law abiding so the case will go on i have given them so much opportunity to deal with this properly but now they seem to wish it all to go to court to get my hard drive sent back to me as agreed in my initial written sent quote by them....BEWARE JUST DONT USE THEM!!!

Professional and helpful, but sadly failed to deliver. Lost the entire contents of hard drive, while initially optimistic of a reasonable yield of files based on initial inspection of disk surface. A lot of money for no data.

Fields data completed a full recovery of my sons external hard drive. I was not wanting to spend a fortune as the data was music my 14 year old son was producing on logic. It was sensitive so I was prepared to pay 500.00 it came up more expensive but the service, communication and quick turn around swayed me to pay more. Other places came up more expensive and over 8 week turnaround.

Being in the Mac Repair business myself, I have used many data recovery companies before and more often the not left disappointed even after paying for doner parts with nothing been recovered.

Great service. They were able to recover virtually all of the data I needed from a physically damaged HDD which had gradually stopped working. This required ordering replacing the heads, and although this took some time, the result was ultimately totally successful.

Excellent service, very trustworthy

Having used similar providers in the past, with mixed results, I was unsure what to expect from Fields. However, from the first call, to the final delivery, I was impressed with their service. I was kept informed all the way and just prior to the final recovery contacted and given a list of files that could be recovered. From then on, it was just a case of downloading the archive and handing it over to the user who's NVMe had failed.
Cost-wise, Fields were no more expensive than many similar service providers, but the service is what counts and that was worth every penny.

I found these guys when I had all but given up on recovering anything from my defunct laptop which took out a USB flash pen with it. I had tried a local repairer and then had a quote from an online service which suspiciously vanished entirely by the time I had saved up.
It is certainly not cheap to get data recovered but as a sole trader having lost everything from Lockdown onwards it was absolutely critical .
I was delighted to find a UK (Wales) based genuine physical address and phone number and human beings with local accents matching the service address who answered the phone knowledgeably and helpfully. My confidence in the service was so positive that I also asked them to look at a hard drive which broke over 10 years ago that I just couldn't bear to let go of as it had all sorts of family memorabilia on.
I didn't have to commit to paying anything until they had sent me files showing what was on each device (I had 3 done in total - lap top, USB pen and external hard drive) and then I could choose if I wanted to go ahead with each of them. There was a slight discount to get more than one item done. Not enough to sway me either way but still worth having.
I got my digital world back together in roughly 2/3 weeks altogether, with supportive phone calls step by step.
Really can't fault them at all.
