I'm still interested for my Fineco account I try to manage my transaction soon and I am so happy with my Fineco bank
Fineco is not a bank
Fineco is perfect for online brokerage but it is NOT A BANK and operators will struggle even with a simple transaction check.
I am now waiting a week to get an answer by mail about a transaction and the support is hopeless.
Go for HSBC Currency if you need a double currency account.

Great platform with FANTASTIC customer service!
Opening the account was easy and quick. I have had a few technical glitches which the Customer Service folk have been fantastic at sorting out. The platform is great, and the rates and range of services easily the best I have seen. So far so good!

Best broker and bank
Been a daily client for several years now, and I'm getting great support, low fees and all the tools I need. The only improvement point I would like to see are the quick GBP transfers that the high street bank have been offering (with credit time within 2h), otherwise it's great

I am a newbe and can not really give any real comment. But I will be back to give you more.

You get what you pay for
A few months ago, I decided to open an account with them but the process is so lengthy and cumbersome so I gave up. I have trading accounts with Barclays, Fidelity and Hargreaves but because of lower charges, I was tempted to try Fineco.
Right now, I am in process of opening an account with them again but after reading some latest reviews from a few people here, I won't bother. I was mainly interested in trading ETFs which I trade very actively but if it means I would have to call them to trade ETFs ( as someone said), NO THANKS. I would rather pay a little extra and trade with industry leaders.
Another issue is...language barrier. I tried to get some information over the phone but the person on the other end could not converse properly.

Fineco Bank wants to have UK business…
Fineco Bank wants to have UK business but unfortunately it does not compare with UK high street banks. Bank to bank transfers are just too slow. Even if you make a sterling to sterling transfer it takes 24 hours, provided you do it before midday, but up to 2 days if you try after midday. Currency conversions take up to 2 days. So in other words if you want to transfer euros from say France to pay a bill in the UK it could take you 4 days ie 2 days to convert the money from your Fineco euro account to sterling and another 2 days to make the bank transfer. I was told that this is because Fineco is an Italian bank, that this is current practise in Italy. Well I can use a UK high street bank and make transfers from a euro account & convert to sterling with Revolut in a few minutes. Fineco service is however very good but just a pity that their banking is so antiquated. The investing part of the bank is also good and efficient.
