Really helpful staff all round. Van I hired turned out to be too small but they had no problem whatsoever with me returning and upgrading and had a new van ready for me almost immediately. Top notch customer service.

Awesome service, I rang at 4.30 on a Friday afternoon and was sat in a car ar 5.00pm.

I highly recommend this rental/hire company. I am 24 years old and when considering to hire a van I was faced with the prospect of having to pay a young person's security deposit (some quotes went as high as £750) and higher rates for the hire itself. However, First Self Drive had the lowest damage deposit rates for young people in the area AND did not charge me any extras for the rental itself! Even though I drive for my job and have a clean licence and have driven for the past 7 years I still get charged higher car insurance rates and, sometimes, frankly discriminatory charges from rental hire companies so finding First Self Drive was just so refreshing and for once I felt as though I was treated with respect. Furthermore, their staff were all lovely and extremely helpful - nothing was ever too much to ask. I had to rent the van for an extra day and all it took was a phone call. If I could I would rate them higher than 5 stars.

From the moment I visited First Self Drive Offices in Norwich, I found all the staff very friendly and professional. They explained and showed me a range a vehicles to help decide the size I required. At all times they were meticulous in ensuring Covid 19 precautions were followed. On the day of collection, the excellently prepared vehicle was ready ahead of time and again friendly and professional staff ensured I was happy with the vehicle, and its controls. On my return a very quick examination of the vehicle by an equally friendly person and I was away. In total an excellent customer experience and a company that will now be my No 1 van hire company in Norwich. Thank you.
