Awful customer service. No refunds apparently, but no signs to tell you this before you purchase. Only on the back of your receipt once it’s too late!!! Would avoid at all costs, says they won’t be beaten on price but it’s far cheaper else where!

I will give zero star to this company. Bought laminate floor from dudley branch. We ordered things based on estimated measurements and paid for it on the day. Then we asked someone to come and take exact measurements. Andy came and measured the areas. Fitters came on 9th March and did their job efficiently. Left the place tidy. We aoud them after their job was completed. We asked them how much pack of laminate and underlay they bought. I was told 4 new underlay and few pieces left over in the shop; and 32 boxes of laminate. ( we had paid for 42 boxes). Next day we went to the shop to speak to them about doing the calculations based on correct measurements. The guy who was dealing with wasn't in but he had left the calculations with the oerdon in store and it can to £48. We knew it wasnt correct so we were asked to come back to speak to Andy. We went back today. While dealing with us he answered the shop phone when there were 2 other men in the shop who could have answered the phone. He then did the calculations and wasn't happy to give us the refund which now came to around £ 121. Why was it 48 before? When I mentioned that we brought back a pack of underlay from which only 4 strips were used he lost his temper. He then said to me that i am shouting. When he was the one who was shouting and not listening to us. I then went o er to speak to the other guy and showed him pics and tried to explain the situation and Andy came around and started screaming again. I said I'm speaking with this other gentleman and not him. He then said that I was abusive. How easily he can use derogatory comments for customers. He has no clue of customer servixe. He's rude, arrogant and aggressive. He was pointing fingers and constantly shouting. It was a minor thing which could have been resolved amicably but not with Andy. He there to fight and to get his point at any cost. I will not be going back to that branch again. I will be writing to senior management.

I basically spent a lot of money on carpet and flooring for my whole house. It is a beautiful brand new build our dream home. Floors 2 go Dudley branch advised myself and my husband to use their carpet fitter as if anything went wrong they could not be accountable. I had my own laminate floor fitter. However, after the carpet was fitted 2 of the doorways didn't seem right. My doors were always open. Upon shutting the door I realised the carpet was cut short about 2 and a half inches from the door frame. This person is supposed to be a professional carpet fitter recommended to me and used by floors 2 go. Neither of them are taking responsibility whilst my flooring looks like shambles done by a rookie. I'm absolutely devastated as my flooring was not cheap. I have never seen carpet layed like that in my life. I'm fuming right now and people must be aware of circumstances like this. If the carpet fitter knew it looked wrong why didn't he show me so it could have been corrected without cutting the carpet and putting a silly door bar across. It's looks like a ****** mess. The laminate floor can be cut but I cannot retrieve my carpet. I feel sick every time I see it.
Something has to be done, it cannot stay that way.
If not resolved I will have to take this matter to trading standards. A professional should know his work. He was sent to my home by floors 2go How dare they send a cowboy to my home. I trusted them on there recommendation as a customer.
Someone must be made accountable!!!
If I could show the pictures here I would. Its a joke. I would actually laugh but it's by all means NOT FUNNY!!!

This firm is run by a pack of con artists. I bought some laminate flooring in January 2020. It was never delivered. Excuse after excuse. Went into Cardiff shop on 14th August. Had another load of excuses. Now telling me to come in this week and will refund my money. DO NOT BUY from these thieves.

We bought their lvt flooring in a oak colour. Looked great when it went down but now the joints are starting to lift , also however much I wash the floor its never clean, it looks to me as if the colour is coming of the floor is which is very and so noticeable on white socks.

After years of using same supplier for laminate flooring ,which was situated in current premises occupied by Foors Today, I feel like I have to comment on the service we received at the Bridgend branch. As soon as walking in we were greeted by warm friendly welcome. The salesman was very knowledgeable and accommodating and gave us lots of advice. He talked us through the latest products on the market and was extremely helpful. We will definitely be going back for future projects.

Horrible place they always tell you lies people careful

this has to be the worst flooring company ever, the attitude of the staff in Swansea are I bought some flooring in the Swansea store and it went from bad to worst. first of all they sent the wrong carpet, so i called and spoke to someone called Dan and he tried to say that it was the one i ordered, he had hell of an attitude. They re ordered the carpet for me and changed the delivery date 4 times. I called and spoke to the manager, i think his name was Andy to try to get a refund as I wanted to go somewhere else for my carpet, omg he had more of an attitude that the salesman. This company should be avoided at all costs... they lie to their customers and dont care about anyone.. I have reported them to trading standards, they dont deserve to be trading

This is a review for Floors Today and not the defunct Floors to Go..,
Please be very careful with this companies refund policy or rather lack of.
Please make sure that your 100% happy and not likely to change your mind as once your money is handed over they will only refund 10% of your order in real money and offer the rest as store credit etc.This isn't widely publicised at point of sale.
If like myself you like to keep your options open it would be far better to purchase from Wickes or B&Q etc as its a no questions asked refund policy.

Shocking service from the Cardiff branch great when they want your money Leigh Hawkins how they treat you after is unbelievable flooring they dropped of the pallet changed most of the boxes then when the fitter was putting it down it was damaged some boxes no good and then they han not give me enough for my order and said I would have to buy some more when I ordered give them the room size they got it wrong wouldn't treat a dog like they treat their customers.I am a recovering Cancer patient who is now disabled and the stress this company put me under is unbelievable.Dont know what to do now fitter done his best but some of the boards keep poping gutted spent £700 on the floor just to have a nice home for the children DO NOT USE THEM BE WARNED.

Please be Very careful the manager will not give you a refund with stuff you have left if you have paid with your card by law you are entitled total refund back on your card he gets his staff to do his dirty work as far as fitters goes we chased them before they even started and got someone who knew what they were doing so please be very wary of this company.😡😡😡

Awful after service when they messed up the order, then the lads that fit the floor did a rubbish job (Adam and Andy) I had to end up getting it refit as they wouldn’t come back. The wood had expanded and warped. If I was you I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. The flooring was actually decent quality so it’s a shame

Terrible com0any full of excuses. Company got one of there fitters to measure my kitchen for flooring and he measured 4 boxes to much... now there refusing to refund me for them even though they are unopened!! Plus 8 boards from a 14 pack where damaged. Staff very rude

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!! My poor 70 year old father bought floors from this company under the name, GPH Flooring Ltd/Flooring World and he never received the floor. the salesman Sean Bell told him he was in a long line of people waiting for money back and that they don't provide any refunds. how can this happen in this day and age! the owners should be jailed for Fraud

My poor mum went in here yesterday and the b@$t@rd$ knowing they where shutting took £300 cash from her , she went back today to confirm the drop off details only to see a notice saying that they have gone into liquidation. She Is heartbroken I don't know how they can live with themselves what an absolute liberty can't imagine how many poor other souls have been ripped off this way also I hope we all get some justice .

Just went down to the Leeds store and it is closed. Phoned the bailiffs and the owners of the building but they have not got details of further contact. All stores have got their telephones disconnected.
Would love to know what to do next.....
I am sure other people are suffering the same fate - lost money and no goods.

having read the previous comments regarding floor to go it makes depressing reading to say the least, we ourselves are in the process of getting money back through our bank which on the face of it seems pretty straight forward (Halifax), horrendous company to deal with, continuous lies and blatant theft i would say, no intention of ever getting our flooring knowing they were closing... worth checking company house as it appears they are back up and running under a different name(s)....

I have been scammed by floors2go gph flooring and flooringworld co. I have taken my complaint to action fraud. trading standards. insolvency services and companies house to object them being struck off. (so all there debts/thefts are cleared) Note neither of these organisations will listen unless you state the the actual company name. which is home surface solutions plc. Please don't sit and take it. complain to these organisations and be heard.

Ordered flooring from this company in May 2017 from their store in Rotherham believing them to be a reputable company. Anticipated delivery was quoted as being two weeks, which was fine as we were not ready to put it down for a few weeks. Started to chase then up after approx 3 weeks, and was told there was an issue with the supplier delaying delivery, but it would be within the next seven days or so. Two days after talking to staff at the store, I received a call advising that the store had closed down, and my order would be delivered to Wakefield. Contacted the Wakefield store, and again was fobbed for regarding another delay in delivery. Rang again after after 3 days and spoke to a gentleman who said he was 'just standing in for someone' and did not have access to the system to track my order. He promised that I would receive a call back that afternoon. Needless to say, no call received and attempts to contact the store on numerous occasions since have failed with no one answering the phone. Tried calling a number of other stores around the country but they all had 'number incorrect' responses. Research after the event shows that many folks have had similar issues, and in fact this company have entered administration on 4 previous occurrences, with the last one being 2015. the two brothers who own the company have apparently been threatened with jail over their shady practices. no doubt on every administration customers have lost money. How they can seemingly continually get away with this is beyond me. Fortunately I paid the £700 on my Barclaycard, and they have since refunded my money. I have to say this was a fairly painless process and I was very impressed with the customer service from Barclaycard - what a contrast to Floors2Go. Incidentally, my receipt had a business heading of GPH Flooring, trading as Flooringworld, so two more companies to avoid.
