We bought quite a significant amount of flooring from the Sheffield branch. Which all arrived except for a small order of two boxes (3 made three in total). After reading the reviews on here I was very worried but I am very pleased to say that Steve the new manager in Sheffield was able to refund the money for the two boxes. The company has a strict returns policy and getting money back on small orders relies on them having the cash to do it. But I will be honest Steve was excellent and because of his efforts I would definitely go back to them.

I have never written on a review site before, I always give the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately this a shop too bad not to comment and warn others away! I ordered 1 pack, I know only one pack of oak flooring at the start of October and I have just been in the shop after numerous lies from staff to get a refund as I have not yet received my flooring in December. I could not receive a refund as there was no cash in the till and they can't refund my card on which I paid for it under £150??? New to me! The manager told me that I will have to wait until he has enough cash in the till this weekend to refund me???? However there is also another stumbling block as there are another 2 cash refunds due before me so wait my turn!!!!! Please please please do yourself a favour and do not buy from the floors to go Hanley!!! I warned.you!!😠😠😠

Jason Kulick from the Stockport store fitted our floor.
After he had finished and been paid we noticed he had not filled a hole under the patio where a wall used to be and the floor sloped very badly to one side. Eventually he agreed to come back and re-lay the floor to our satisfaction. However he then ignored all our phone calls and text messages and obviously the floor never got fixed.
Take my advice and DON'T USE JASON KULICK.

This is simply an 'AWFUL' company you should stay well clear of. The owners owners Robert and Richard Hodges are facing jail as reported in the press. Imagine how they must feel knowing that all they have achieved in life is causing misery and ripping people off, certainly not a way I would wish to go.

Shop (and my fitter) suggested ordering 10%more than needed for wastage, etc.
No problem as you can return excess for a full refund.
Try getting that refund though!!!
They only do this by bank transfer.
Sorry they say that but don't actually bother to transfer the money.
After 6 weeks many phonecalls from me and lots of excuses, I eventually demanded cash.
I called in and they did give me the cash but what happened to customer relations.
Obviously made no attempt to process the refund.

One star because you can't give zero.
Wish I had read these reviews before I bought from Floors 2 Go.
Staff here are paid to smile and give you great service while taking your money and then not give a damn about you from that point forward.
I bought flooring in April and at the time of ordering we agreed a date for fitting (fitter was called while we were there and date agreed).
Date for fitting came round and after calling to check on estimated time that fitter would be coming were told sorry but fitting not happening as wood had not been ordered. This was a fortnight after paying.
Flooring was eventually fitted a few weeks later but shortly afterwards we noticed some problems and tried to contact the store to get the fitter to come back out. Calls were either not answered or promised callbacks never happened.
After months of trying finally got them to send out another fitter (first one had ceased to do business with them) who admitted that the previous fitter had not done a good job.
Asked how we get this rectified to be told it was our fault for choosing the fitter that they recommended!
Then told that they would do nothing further as my purchase came before they changed to a new company in May! This was the second change of owner this year (Jan 16 and May 16) and has happened several times before. Previous owners (Hodge brothers) have even been threatened with prison for deliberate multiple liquidation and administrations of the company. This means that if you buy from them and then they change the owners they take no ownership for anything from that point forward. Meaning they can ignore requests for refunds, deliberately give poor service and take the money and run.
DO NOT USE THIS DECEIPTFUL, LYING, DISHONEST COMPANY!

We ended up with the wrong amount of flooring due to their poor area estimate, when I asked that excess flooring would be returnable for a full refund we were told 'oh yes, no problem.' When we actually returned 3 packs they would not accept them saying they would only take one pack.
I tried to contact the company to complain sending several emails but each one was undelivered. In retrospect I should have taken it to consumer protection, but as I was ill it was too much to deal with.
Don't be fooled by the charm it soon disappears once they have your money!

Do not use!!!!! Save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else who can give you a refund rather than still be waiting two months later despite multiple phone calls,emails and a visit to the store. Absolutely awful!

As the last review(Dave Constantine) said its great to pay by bank transfer this is wrong the 2 brothers that own then company have folded that many times they can get card machines to take payments and this is why we are getting the staff leaving fake reviews saying its a great way to pay.
If you pay this way and dont get your floor you will never get your money back.
if you have been ripped of by this company drop me a comment i have both brothers mobile numbers and all involved in this rip off company and will post on here if needed.

Its amazing reading through the five star reviews just how similar they appear. For example, the latest two both happen to mention that whilst this company has masses of bad reviews you should hand over thousands of pounds of your hard earned money on the basis that the company has been under new management since May. I have dealt with this company prior to the new management and since, and I will never in my life give this business a penny more. Thank goodness for Cashback.

I am absolute shocked how bad this company has become. Bought flooring from the a few years ago and got great service returned 5 packs out 15 as they over estimated what we needed with No trouble!

Went back to return some today we bought a few weeks ago and they now have a 10% of total packs bought policy so I could only return 2 out of my 4 remaining packs. This was not told to me at point of purchase and I even asked about returns ipon purchase.

The area manager who claims he is overall company manager was arrogant rude and a dam right condescending. Calling me a liar and walking off from me while I was talking to him.

Do not sure this company at all. I am now left with £50 of flooring I can't use!

My partner and I shopped at floors2go in June (2016) and the guys were great at dealing with our sale from start to finish! We got our stock within 1 week of ordering which is what the salesman quoted when we purchased it. They called us to let us know it was in store and even loaded the car for us when we went to collect it. We were a bit hesitant to purchase at first because of the negative reviews, however I discovered that it has new management now. With this in mind we decided to give the guys a chance and go for it and I have to say we are very pleased with our new laminate and the experience as a whole.

Hi, great experience and good service (with a smile) very good products at cheap prices! Couldn't be more pleased with them. I was aware about the negative reviews but when I looked into it I found out they are under new owners from May 2016. Most of the negative reviews date back previous to this which is for the old co. I can gladly say I am happy with everything and would return in the future to make a purchase again!

Rip off company not even worth the 1 star it was the only way I could leave a review . Ordered flooring which never came gave them a couple of chances but nothing materialised asked for a refund which was a agreed too however the transaction was not completed by floors 2 go even though we had a receipt that says the money as sent ( no money in the bank though ) £1100 they have had for 3 months now the company is run by con men

We first purchased about £1000 worth of what we were told was quality Laminate flooring from Floors2Go in Manchester for a renovation project. To our complete shock the flooring started to warp and after mopping even though manufacturers instructions indicated it was mop proof.

We took Floors2Go to court and won Judgement, however we later found the company is a complete shambles and run by 'Rogues' who keep on changing the company name. They are constantly in and out of administration and liquidation so that people find it difficult to sue them - yes many are chasing them for their money back.

Conclusion - stay well away!!! they are liars and rogues who sell poor quality flooring at inflated prices - and you won't get your money back when inevitably it goes wrong.

Ordered flooring with floors2go a month before we were getting kitchen fitted. I rang to confirm they had received the wood, I was told they had and booked in the fitting. A few days before the fitting the people doing our kitchen advised me to change my underlay order for the flooring due to the uneven nature of the flooring in the Kitchen. I rang floors2go to re arrange the fitting and order the upgrade on underlay. A week passed.... Then 10 days.... After repeated phone calls to check if my order had been delivered and not receiving any calls back to chase this up(0/7 on promised phone calls) I threatened to go to the store and pick the flooring up myself and get the fitting and underlay elsewhere. It was at this point I was told it wasn't the underlay they were waiting for: it was the wood! The wood that I had ordered 42 days previously had not arrived, and no one at floors2go thought it pertinent to tell me. Secondly, bear in mind I cancelled the original fitting, not floors2go, what was the fitter going to put in my kitchen.. Fresh air?? I asked for a refund and was told that it wasn't company policy! I was then told that the problem was they had been taken over earlier in the month which was creating a backlog. I then had to explain to the genius on the phone that my order and fitting preceded this 'takeover' and therefore what he was saying didn't make sense. Luckily i still fell in the 100 day chargeback window so was able to get the money back on the account. I haven't heard from Floors2go since, I'm half expecting a phone call in October to tell me my Wood has arrived!

I dont know if anyone can advise me but its worth a try. My daughter bought a flat in sheffield a couple of months ago, the carpet was dirty and ripped so she decided on wood flooring. We went into floors to go sheffield. We knew we wouldn't be able to afford the real wood so we were looking at laminate. A few minutes after being in the store a guy called Paul came up to us, we were asking about the different prices between the real wood and the laminate just in case there was an offer. Of course there was an offer Paul explained just today, we are offer 20% on the wood flooring. We went to the desk and gave Paul the measurements for the flat. It worked out we needed 40sqm of flooring, we asked for a price for fitting. So he said for the flooring and fitting it will cost £1400.00. We agreed on the price and paid in full. Two days later Paul rang and said the company had been taken over and the flooring will be delayed a couple of weeks. The Fitter finally came and took his own measurements we received another phone call from Paul saying we had measured up wrong and will need more flooring at a cost of £350 so we paid the extra 350. A couple of days later the fitter rang my daughter and said he would be able to lay the flooring on Saturday which she agreed.
OMG would you believe what the fitter said next: "The Price of fitting is £700" She phoned me straight away in tears as Paul had given us the price including fitting. I phoned the store right away and a sales assistant called Scott said "no the price you paid did not include fitting". I kept telling him that Paul said the fitting was included in the price. We should have looked at the invoice closer, it just had a load of scribble and numbers written on it. I then explained we could not afford 700 for fitting and would like a refund. Scott said we were not entitled to a refund as the company has now been taken over. So the wood flooring is now sat in floors 2 go waiting for my daughter to pick it up. Just dont know what to do we've been lied to and my daughter is so upset. What would anyone do in this situation. Not sure if to try and get a refund using chargeback, if any can advise me i'd be so grateful.

we went here where quite helpful until they got the money the fitting was rushed was ment to be water sealed (yer right) we steam clean our floor which we asked about and was told if we pay for there sealent it would be fine now some of our flooring is lifting been into the shop 4 times was told they would get the manager to call been onto the so called head office at stretford manchester to be told they have no head office and could not give out the area managers number.
we have never had a recipt for our flooring and we know we have been overcharged also 3 letters with no replys well the fight goes on the
courts will be next.

Unreliable and scamming.
Made an order and was told it would take no longer than two weeks for delivery, three weeks later the order came in. I went to collect it and they tried to palm off cheap underlay on me saying that the underlay I ordered hadn't arrived (even after three weeks of waiting). They lied to me and said it was actually an upgrade, luckily for me I know about flooring and called them on their bull**** and demanded a refund on the underlay.
If this wasn't enough on my way out I noticed one of the beadings they gave me was massively damaged and so had to fully check them all and swap the broken one.
After I left I went to B&Q and got some decent underlay. I wish I had just got everything from B&Q in the first place.
Terrible company and would advise anyone to avoid.

Having worked within the flooring industria for 8 years before starting empoyment with company , i have very good knowledge of flooring . Now this was some time ago (2011) however after reading some reviews on here it is obvious the same practice is on going . The whole company is a scam ! The company has been in liquidation 3 times at the writting of this and it is still the same 2 brothers that own the company. The sales staff are just following orders , the have to think of their pay check to support their families i understand that , however the staff are encouraged to sell flooring the company dosen't have . The staff have very little knowledge of floors in general i found this out when i was advising a customer that laninate isn't suitable for a bathroom for various reasons .....i was told that is not what we do here ! .
On my last day i had an idea there was a problem in the company, a customer was trying to pay me a £1600 DEPOSIT cash on a floor . Told customer about my concerns however customer still wanted to proceed with order so advised them to put money in bank and pay ethier by debit or credit card and at least that way they would have some protection , which they had no idea about . Hours later company went into liquidation. If customer had paid cash they would have l9st every penny .
Stay away from this company at all costs ! Yoou will find plenty of local independent flooring retailers witj far more knowledge than these guys , dosent matter about big branding or being a large company that dosent always mean you will have the best quality or advice .
