I went in to the Cannock floors 2 go completely clueless, all I knew was I wanted laminate flooring but hadn't a clue where to start. I had my measurements and the staff in store were very friendly and helped me. They greeted me as I entered the store gave me chance to have a look round and then approached to see if I needed help. I did, lots of it! After talking me through the different thicknesses as the benefits I chose the flooring I wanted. The young man with the glasses worked out everything I needed and I was more than happy with the price. They helped me with putting the items in to my car. The flooring has been fitted and looks amazing! I will definitely recommend this store to all my family and friends.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We ordered and paid for solid oak flooring from the NEWPORT branch at the end of September, and arranged fitting for the 2nd November for three rooms. Despite calling into the shop twice shortly before the fitting date and being assured that all was ok, the fitter turned up with completely the wrong flooring (which had supposedly been signed as acceptable by us the day before! A forged signature is surely fraud???) which we eventually felt obliged to accept as our daughter was getting married later that week and we had no flooring at all downstairs in our house and were expecting family to stay for the weekend!!! We drove straight out to the store, and was told that the salesman wasn't there (hiding round the back I guess, as he had previously told us that the guy who dealt with us that morning, was the one who dealt with customer complaints!). The flooring is thinner and certainly not as good quality as the one we ordered and paid for. Two letters later to their customer services department at head office, and still no reply to either, I am going to Trading Standards. Please take heed, and DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I wish I'd read the reviews first.

We went into the Cambridge branch initially to use them as a comparison for other flooring outlets and were so taken by their range of products and the extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff they employ there that we decided to place our order with them.
Delivery to store from the Southampton warehouse was exactly as promised and the store phoned me to confirm the delivery had arrived
As it was only for a smallish office I laid the floor myself but needed to clarify a few points regarding laying the floor. Ben Sh****ck and his colleague Aiden were very helpful in answering my queries.
The finished floor is just stunning, using Engineered Brushed & Oiled Oak.
Credit for unused scotia was no problem. The full amount was put back on my credit card immediately on the day I returned it.
The whole project was by way of an experiment to see if we like the look-and-feel of the product, how it performs, noise levels, etc, etc. If we’re satisfied that everything is OK, we’ve another 3 rooms that we are thinking of using wood instead of carpet and we will definitely be considering Floors-2-Go to supply the materials.
I was put off even considering Floors-2-Go a year ago because of the extremely bad reviews they were getting and the companies behind them going into administration in 2008, 2011 and 2014.
It turns out that for the last year the trading name and the surviving stores are now owned by a company called Anbo International Ltd in Southampton.
It's a shame really that the old bad press is still out there, unchallenged, on the Internet when the current operation bears no resemblance to the earlier businesses.
Many of the complaints about the pre-2014 Floors-2-Go were around non-delivery of orders and the subsequent difficulties in getting refunds. Not unusual for any company struggling to keep going. Frankly, if you deal with any company without using a credit card and, therefore, getting the Section-75 protection that makes the card issuer jointly responsible with the retailer for any debt, you must be mad.

We ordered and paid for a £1,600 engineered wooden floor from the Loughborough store last year. The floor never arrived- the floor fitters actually called us to say they wouldn't be coming to fit the (none existent) floor as Floors 2 Go hadn't paid them for the last 4 jobs they'd done. We confirmed with the store that the floor wasn't even in stock despite being booked in that day to fit! After being fobbed off and treated like idiots, it became clear they had never intended to supply the floor, and just wanted to take our money. So we requested a refund. We were even told that this had been processed, but it never materialised. Eventually we managed to claim the money back via the bank as Floors 2 Go simply refused to deal with us, despite the floor NEVER arriving. Disgusted doesn't even come close, I can't believe they're still trading. In addition, each time we visited the store to try to sort this mess out, there were other customers there with similar issues.

I ordered solid oak flooring from the company's website, having made few phonecalls to Southampton team, to ensure it was the right grade. I needed rustic to match the rest of the house, having previously purchased from Floors 2 go. The grade can be found on the packaging. They assured me it was rustic (the website does not specify) and confirmed it would be ok to send it back with the driver if it was not. Needless to say it was not rustic but natural, which is lighter. So I sent it back. This was back in mid July. I am still waiting for the refund at the end of September, despite numerous calls and involvement of my bank.

Whilst the flooring we bought from the company in Southampton was good, the customer service was shocking. I phoned the store 3 times with a query and didn't get the query answered until the fitter called 3 days before he was due. The fitter, who we had paid for in advance, did not even know what work he was coming to carry out when he finally made contact. He then advised that he did not know he was actually coming to fit the floor on the following Monday and then cancelled on the morning he was due. We finally got a refund on the fitting cost and found a reliable company to carry out the work instead.

To say that the service and standards are poor is an understatment! On my reasent visit to the Sheldon Branch the first thing that put me off was the shabby, un-kempt and dingy state of the store on top of that the members of staff were rude and uninterested in my enquirey and just sat at the back of the store behined the cash desk eating KFC. One of the members of staff was also talking on his mobile phone and his language was discusting! he was very thugish in his appearence and i was very aprerhensive in approaching him. The other member of staff was not mutch better either and when I finnally managed to prize him away from his KFC an stong smell of BO filled my nostrels. I asked him what type of underlay I needed for wood flooring and he just pointed to some green spongy tiles and left me to my own devises to work out how much I needed to buy. feeling very discurnteld I asked to speek to the manager only to be told that it was the managers day off and I was then given her mobile number. whith that I left the store and called the manager who then informed me that she had infact left the business in march? I went back into the store and confronted the staff member who had give me this number he stated that this was the managers number and couldn't understand why she had said this. I was then asked for my number to pass on to the area manager but I was very aprohensive on doing this I told them to forget it and walked out.

Had to wait 3 weeks for a fitting date, having chased them repeatedly to confirm. Had to go back in store to demand answers. Taken day off today for fitting and they've not turned up. Rang store at least 7 times, no answer. Finally got through to be told they'll chase fitter and call back in 10 minutes. 2 hours later no call, taken 4 attempts to get through again to be told by assistant manager he doesn't know what's going on as it's not his fitter. Going to be going in store tomorrow to demand my money back. Bunch of clueless idiots. Seems a running theme reading these reviews, I wish I'd seen them before dealing with these cowboys.

This has got to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!
After agreeing a specific delivery date due to moving house (booked and paid well in advance) they didn't bother to inform me that they could not get all of the flooring for the agreed date until last minute! The only solution after endless chasing by me was to have the flooring delivered from another store which would meant that I had to pay THEIR delivery driver and F2G would reimburse me. Well surprise! 7 months on and I have still received nothing! Apparently due to corruption & theft all of the previous staff had been sacked. After explaining the situation several times to different people and numerous promised returned calls still nothing as 'they don't have any cash in the till'!!

To anyone looking for wood flooring; avoid them and look elsewhere,

Wolverhampton store; requested to pay in full for flooring in advance, upon collection on agreed day/date no flooring in store for collection as promised by the branch manager. I requested for a refund, this was refused, tried to contact head office, non existent customer service, it's been two months, still waiting for flooring, I would strongly recommend avoiding using this company ever again.

I would fully recommend the team at Cannock. They went out of their way to provide advice and answers to my concerns. The staff were friendly and provided honest advice and excellent customer service. I would definitely use them in the future and have already told my friends & family about the quality service I received.

Terrible service from Cannock store they hire a bunch of con men to do there bidding.

You can't make a complaint because they have no complaints department and none of there head office numbers work!!!

The Cannock store lie to your face and they avoid your calls! I spent £1500 on flooring for my lounge and they could even order it correctly. It took three attempts to order and several wasted journey to get it completed. I have two extra days off work to wait to finish my flooring and now it doesn't look right because it was glued over three days not one like it was meant to be finished in! Cowboys !!!

i ordered a considerable amount of flooring and as many of the previous comments testify my order was 2 pack short when I contacted them they said that they built in a percentage for wastage I have tenants waiting to move in and they couldn't care less the company are really hard to get hold of the phone number redirects to a mobile that's never answered which is a bit dodgy when finally some one did speak to me they said I would have to pay . They measured it their mistake Avoid at all costs not to be trusted!

First time for laminate flooring. After visiting the local store we finally decided to go with it.
We found the staff there to be extremely helpful, and courteous at all times.
The fitter they recommended was extremely professional. We are highly delighted with the final result, I we would not hesitate to recommend the business to anyone else. (5stars guys).

I went in with a very specific idea of what I wanted. The member of staff that served me was very honest about the pros and cons of everything i wanted. I must have been in 2 or 3 times before i bought but every time i was served by some one, they were equally as helpful. Now its all been fitted It looks amazing. Really happy with the floor and the service.

I too have read the reviews on this site regarding Floors to go and I must say that my experience was not consistent with the mainstay of the negative reviews.
We used the Cambridge store and found the sales advisor (Ben) was very knowledgeable and filled in the gaps to help us select the correct floor for our requirements. We were looking for 90m of engineered Oak flooring and settled on the 220mm x 20mm. After a few telephone conversations we settled on a deal and paid a 10% deposit. The product was ready for inspection/collection the following week when we paid the balance.
The floor has now been laid and looks fantastic.
Speaking from my personal experience I would have no problem in recommending this company.

Great service from the guys in the Leeds store great prices and great fitting.
Will be back in next week as the wife just pointed out that i didn't get any laminate cleaner.

After nearly 4 months, no end of phone calls to the Leeds branch where we were told lie after lie we finally have our floor. The staff have been rude and obnoxious, once they had our money they did not seem to care about the fitting - we have had 5 fitting dates with no one turning up and us having to call to find out where the fitter was - total nightmare! I would NEVER use again, and will tell everyone not to use them either!

Beyond disappointed, words cannot describe how much. Do not trust Lee or Sean, if they promise anything get it in writing as they'll deny all knowledge once it comes to delivery!

BE WARNED - DO NOT GO NEAR FLOORS TO GO! especially the Leeds branch. There customer service is beyond atrocious, with lies, excuses and pure rudeness. It has been 3 months since I bought my floor, it still hasn't been finished. I had to move Christmas to my mother-in-laws after they guaranteed it would be fitted by Xmas. It's now February and it still isn't finished.
