Sorry to hear you missed the appointment. Our accompanied viewer was at the property before and after your time slot and showed 3 sets of prospective tenants around, but we marked you down as a ‘no show’. It was 40 minutes after your appointment that you phoned our office, and we did speak to you [can’t think why you would write that we didn’t answer the phone?] and we told you our viewer was no longer there. He waited as long as he could but had to move onto his next appointment. Happily for our Landlord this property is now let agreed.

We are sorry to hear you have struggled to contact the Lettings team in order to arrange viewings. We are extremely busy with enquiries following the Christmas holidays and it’s not always possible to respond to all enquiries immediately, particularly on some properties where we receive hundreds of enquiries daily. This is great news for our landlords with properties to rent, particularly for this time of year.
We have checked the website and the book a viewing online option does appear to be working and enquiries can still be sent through the website, which we do endeavour to respond to as quickly as possible.
I understand a member of the team has been in touch with you and viewings are being arranged with you where possible. We wish you the best of luck with your property search and we do hope we can offer you a suitable property that will meet your requirements.

I have just received a reply to my original complaint re this abysmal company stating how busy they are and customer demand so high (without apology.)
I made several complaints that the reply did not address
1.unable to communicate with this company either by email or telephone
2. Their answerphone service that does not exist ....in a queue then after 3 comments saying you are in a queue told we are very busy try later then call terminated .
3. When an appointment was eventually made to view a property the named agent just did not turn up !
We waited over 30 minutes at the property he ( Norbert Gergye) did not arrive .this appointment was confirmed by email.
None of these issues were addressed in the company's reply !
The reply just advised they are massively oversubscribed and can't possible improve their communications and that 70 % of viewings are booked online but this does not address the fact that their agent just didn't bother to turn up for a confirmed appointment .then not return our calls to explain this.
We would not use this company again and the reply has justified that decision ... They obviously have decided it's okay to treat customers like this as demand is so high they can get away with it.

Sorry you had a frustrating experience trying to rent a property from us. I can assure you though, nothing is broken, and everything worked as it was meant to.
Our high quality properties are massively oversubscribed; applicant demand is higher than the number of properties available and we have a dedicated phone line for applicants. Unfortunately, we can’t answer or respond to all calls from people interested in renting a property as there are simply too many.
We have a separate line for our clients [Landlords and tenants] and as you found the people, we have responsibilities to respond to quickly can always get through to our support team.
Sorry you were unsuccessful in renting an ‘FTR.com’ property this time, keep an eye on the website and hopefully a suitable property will pop up for you soon. When it does be quick and think about booking your viewing online, it’ll save you a phone call and get you ahead in the queue [70%+ of our viewings are booked online].

Good Value
Their virtual viewing is as good as seeing the property in person. Good quality property. My agent, Norbert, was very responsive and helpful. I had a slight glitch while booking the property but they were quick to resolve the issue.

Bad service
Tried to pay a holding fee for a property in nottingham or even book a viewing and they kept taking my details and never get back at me. I contacted them for a whole week multiple times a day but with no success.” A member of staff will contact you” is all I heard no matter how many times I called. Overall a frustrating experience and very worrying. They don’t communicate effectively with the client or among themselves. I even paid the deposit on their website and still didn’t get treated right despite showing my urgency. Made our first home hunt experience so dreadful and frustrating. Would not recommend.

Incredible service - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Incredible service. The lettings team were very helpful and attentive in moving my application along quickly. I wasn’t quite sure what to do at first and the guys at ForTheRenters helped me through every step and I am now happily renting. I had a maintenance issue when I first moved in and they had it fixed pronto. Highly recommend.
