What a scam!!

What a scam!!! They operate on a deceptive op-ups when completing a purchase on a legitimate retail site offering a "$10 back" or a "free trial," which actually signs the user up for a paid subscription! I don't even remember subscribing! Don't fall for this! They have been charging me since January, and I did check my email and I could not find any email from them saying that I subscribe! I went to their website and tried logging in to check on rebates or cash back, and I could not even log in. I clicked on forgot password, nothing came to my inbox to change my password to log in, I even checked my spam folder- NOTHING!!!! If I can give a zero star, I would. This merchant does not even deserve one star!

Reply: No way I was confused! This merchant has been charging my paypal acct. and when I checked out my account in your website, its non- existent! I could not even log in!

Useful if you have a lot shipped

FreeShipping makes it easy to be reimbursed for the things we buy everyday. They have a lot of deals with random BIG companies, and pass that down to us,the consumer. Very useful if you order a lot off of the internet, which I do not. But if I did, I would have kept my FreeShipping account for sure.

The Good & Bad of Freeshipping.com

The free shipping (maximum $10.00) and price protection work extremely well and are quick and easy to apply for and get paid. The 10% rebate is more hit and miss. Not every retailer acknowledges their order, and you have to verify each order you place to make sure you get credit for it. If an order you placed is not acknowledged, you have to e-mail them with documentation of the order. If they agree that the order was placed, you have to wait months for the retailer to get back to them with no communications from freeshipping as the status of all your unpaid orders. I have multiple orders open now over 3 months without any update status from freeshipping. If your placing multiple small orders weekly as I do, this becomes a time consuming process. It would be nice if free shipping added a status code of verification pending. This would at least acknowledge that they are still waiting on the retailer.
