Good quality product but poor customer service.

Products seem good quality. However, please be aware of the returns policy and customer service approach. To even get the returns address there are multiple hurdles to get over, questions to answer via email, finding the correct email address, just to get the return address. Also the emails on the website are not up to date. This makes the whole customer experience really poor. Which is disappointing when the products seem good quality. I will not be purchasing again and go elsewhere to purchase my training products, as I don’t mind paying return postage etc but the whole challenges around getting the right fitting products particularly for training is important. Would recommend cutting down the steps for returns, increased transparency over how to return and increases customer trust.

One size does not fit all

For to tight and to be honest very little information on the website regarding sizing. I will give it to my daughter who is a size 6 but as a guy with a 42 inch chest don’t waste your money. Slow delivery but that was to do with the ever rubbish Evri

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear the fit wasn’t right for you - fit can be down to personal preference, and we do have many customers with a 42" chest who find the vest comfortable.

Wrong Product / Poor Customer Service

I placed my order on the 01/10/2025, it was delivered on the 04/10/2025. The wrong size was sent, however the order had the correct size. I sent the item back as requested by customer services, which arrived back with Freetrain on the 09/10/2025. I was told the issue would be resolved with in 3 working days of the item arriving back with Freetrain. It is now the 22/10/2025 and I am still waiting for the correct item to be delivered myself. I have contacted customer services a number of times and just keep being told to wait for further updates which never come.

A customer service phone number is what this company requires. So customers can phone and get the required information in one call not a massive email chain that never comes to any form of resolve.

It's unfortunate that this version of the vest does not fit my phone. It sticks out of the top and isn't safe. My other version fits my samsung nicely so I'm not sure why they have reduced the size

We haven’t reduced the size of the phone pouch in our newer vest models. However, larger or bulkier phone cases can affect the fit.

I recently bought the free train V2.

I recently bought the free train V2.

I ran 23KM today and throughout the run it made a clicking noise at the phone pouch. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and as stated in the description for the V2, this should have been perfect for the pouch.

No matter how snuggly fit both my phone and the straps were, the clicking noise was heard.

When you run with your phone, you just want it to be effortless - not constantly hearing the clicking of the magnetic pouch.

So frustrating as these aren’t cheap.

Shoddy design and DO NOT recommend.

first run done👌

Just done my first run with it and am made up. No zips or bits that make noises while running and fits tight. Phone is secured tight and first reactions are all good- happy days. 👌

Terrible product

Terrible product, after one use at the gym the stitching ripped on both sides at the slit in the shorts and apparently nothing can be done to fix this! Terrible Customer service, they reply quickly but basically take no accountability and say it’s not soemthing they’ll resolve by sending a new pair, when I’m willing to send the defected pair back

To clarify for others reading this: you reached out to let us know the shorts tore during a gym squat session, and requested to return them for a larger size. After reviewing the photos and details provided, we found the damage to be consistent with strain from tight fit during movement, not a manufacturing fault. We’ve had no similar reports of this happening with this product or any of our clothing items.

As the issue falls outside of what we can cover under our warranty, we weren’t able to offer a replacement. However, we did still offer a goodwill discount toward a new size, should you wish to try a better fit.

Some positives and negatives vs prior model

I also have the prior model so giving a comparison of the 2.

Positives:
. Really like the magnetic feature as the button version was more difficult to easily snap back on while running. Would be no issue though if you were walking.
.both models stay in place well while running

Negatives:
. Smaller than the prior model around the neck and almost too small now as it lightly rubs on my neck. I took a picture of the new on top of the old and can easily see the difference that this model is almost 1 inch in closer on each side of the neck.
.dont like how tight the phone case is, as I have an s25 and an otter box defender case,.and it is so tight that I am concerned I will cause damage to the stitching due to this around the phone pouch
.very expensive as from being in canada, I had to pay extra unexpected shipping charges on top of the already charged shipping charges.
.concerned the magnetic button fabric could be a bit more reinforced and a bit more fabric to grab on top for detaching it.

Summary: due to me being a taller person, I wish this company would make a small size and then a larger size to cater to more sizes of people vs trying to find a one size fits all. Based on thr positives and negatives for my size,.if they could improve on these suggestions, then I would give a 5 out.of 5..due to these stated negatives I give it a 3 out of 5.

We understand your concerns around sizing and phone fit, particularly for taller users and larger phones in bulky cases like the OtterBox Defender. As one of the largest cases on the market, it does push the limits of the pocket’s capacity. Our phone holder is designed to fit most standard-sized devices securely - if we increased the size to accommodate bulkier setups, it could compromise stability during use.

Regarding shipping and customs charges, unfortunately, these fees are set by the destination country and are outside of our control.
