This fundraising platform is supporting scammers. We, a group on Instagram who care deeply to stop this scammer, have provided so much evidence against them. Yet fundrazr chooses to believe a fake vet bill with no vet name and a different patient owner name on the bill compared to the one on their PayPal account. We have also found the actual vet clinic that this scammer went to, and they have indeed confirmed that the cats are not sick with cancer. They were incredibly surprised to hear of this person using her cats for scamming. We have contacted fundrazr multiple times and have attempted to get their attention but are completely ignoring us and allowing this scammer to STEAL close to 100 thousand dollars for months now. This is the worst fundraising platform you can use and I would not trust donating to just any fundraiser on this platform.

We loved the setup and collection process - so easy! And because we're small, we need all the extra cash we can get, so the no-upfront cost was great for us and was the reason we didn't use Kickstarter or something else.

Fundrazr has helped Thrive for Good to host many different types of peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. The platform is user-friendly and offers a lot of different options to customize each campaign. It integrates well with our CRM. And if we ever have any issues or problems their awesome customer support gets back to us very quickly and is always able to help.

So, I just made a donation via Fundrazr and the receipt for the payment informs me of something I never asked for, nor realised I was being tracked about. Namely, that my "social impact" is 40/100!

WTVF!! This is an underhanded invasion of privacy to the umpteenth degree, and a precursor of what's coming down the line when cash is obsoleted and money is digitised and controlled and dictated by faceless technocrats tying your spending to certain caveats, for example a carbon credit allowance that will limit your travel, your diet...and heaven knows how more and more punitive it will evolve further down the line.

I have demanded an explanation from Fundrazr, who are acting shamelessly in brazenly telling me information it and no one else should be in possession of but myself, and as such they are not to be trusted. Word needs to get out that the noose is tightening and the screws tightening by the day. Get the word out, folks!

I also note how many 5-star reviews below were set up especially to review Fundrazr, which is not normal, highly suspicious, and I would call on Trust Pilot to investigate. Reading seasoned Trust Pilot reviewers' reviews paints a different pciture, suggesting my hunch that Fundrazr is not to be trusted is spot-on.

PS: I am not in the least bit impressed with the response. I logged on to their site to make a donation to a cause I believed in; I did not log on to be rated and tracked by this company. How dare it presume I would want to be, or for it to use my donation to provide a "social impact score". Folks, this is underhanded; put your campaigns through other platforms that do not reveal their ulterior motives until you have made your donation.

I cancelled a campaign and wasn't told the fees are non refundable.

They've charged me almost £200 in fees taken off the refund amounts and when asked, they basically said 'not our problem, contact your payment provider'.. tf kind of response is that??

Absolute con artists.

Since FundRazr have now thankfully removed the fraudulent listing, I have amended to 5 star. Original review below.

Currently listing a fraudulent fund raiser for a cancer patient named Maria supposedly looking for "$40,000 or the treatment will stop". Except the real Maria sadly died in February 2023. This is pure evil, and so far FundRazr have not removed the fraudulent listing and it has raked in another $50 since I reported it. The fraudster (I assume) deleted my warning comments twice and then disabled comments.

To my amazement, YouTube have actually already removed the channel they were using to promote it! So far nothing from FundRazr. Will update star rating if the listing is removed.

My experience with the company was pleasant, until we noticed large fees being deducted from our donations in Paypal. The fees were way larger than the commission fees first claimed by the company, coming close to 6-7% of the donation. For around 1 month I have tirelessly been contacting Fundrazr but without a response.

UPDATE: The answer below is not accurate as I have evidence of emails + automated responses.

This is the perfect platform for all kinds of fundraising. It couldn't be easier or more effective. Easy set up. Easy sharing. Flexible. Low cost. Thank you! We reached our goal!!

Partnered with Stripe Issues - some fundrazr fees are not captured on stripe reports, so I'd have to toggle between both sites to get the fees of both fundrazr and stripe. This became such a pain. If you had one platform with one report showing one satisfied fee then reporting on my end would be so much easier. Also, there is no way of posting Fundrzr on social media except as a web link. If there is someway to add Fundrzr to social media as a $ click option, that would be quicker and easier for donors too.

I had no issues collecting funds for my project. The website offers all tools necessary to set up and manage a campaign. Payment handling is top notch, the same day a contribution was made I could see it reflected on my account in the same day almost immediately.

The text editor feels a little bit annoying to work with when placing images though, I think you can improve in that so that I dont have to delete a whole bunch of text to move images around in case I make a mistake or decide to change/update them.

Overall a good user experience, Im happy with it.

The application process was easy and was quickly funded.

It's a great site, easy to use, and most importantly - it doesn't gatekeep itself to only users from the USA. It also comes with tips toward making succesful campaigns, which is great! It saved my butt during tough times when I had to rely on kindness of others, and I got WAY more donations than by directly asking people for help.

I appreciated the step by step directions on how to create the information for the grant, the check-ins I received as I was getting donations, and suggestions about how I could promote project. I was very excited about the donation match as well.

Well, they are so slow with approval. They tell me that the "payments and sharing are disabled until we review your campaign. It shouldn't take long. We'll notify you via email. " This's the third day and I'm still waiting for approval. I feel that the website's a scam But I hope not

All good until I was about to launch the campaign, then they claimed they needed a photography of my ID with me holding it up next to my phase, as proof of identity.

Now, I'm logging in with Google, which already has my identitity verified. And payments are handled through PayPal, which also has me as a verified customer. And now FundRazr for some reason want a copy of my ID?

The one thing we're told is to never hand out our passport- or ID number to random strangers on the internet. And I'm not going to.

No further proof of my identity was needed. Regardless of any replies, I will never use this company again. No way in hell I trust somebody that asks me for a high def photograph of my identification. It's downright archaic. What next, smoke signals, rune carvings and fax?
