Our garage door motor was not working properly and, by chance, a neighbour had the same problem and they were renewing her motor. I spoke to them and they then came across and fitted a new motor. It is so quiet and gentle when the door goes up and down that I cannot help but smile. Phil and his colleagues were extremely efficient and helpful. Thank you very much to the team for an excellent job.

I contacted this company as our electric gate had stopped working. I was unsure which company had installed the gate as it was several years ago. I called the company explaining the situation and that we had recently had seen people on our cameras entering the garden area which was causing our daughter extreme distress. The company went above and beyond to resolve the issue. An engineer called on his way home from work to assess the problem and ensured us that he would be back tomorrow to resolve the fault.
Well he did exactly as he promised and I didn’t even know he had been until I noticed the gate was now closed and working perfectly. This company is fantastic and really put their customers needs and concerns first. They really worthy of a five star rating. We can not recommend them highly enough. Thank you 😀

The Exeter branch carried out the work, replacing an old up and over garage door with a fully automatic roller door and also replaced a soft wood side door. The work was carried out efficiently by a team of two installers who did an excellent job. I am delighted with the result and the company gives a 7 year guarantee.

Recently moved into a house with badly installed electric gates which didn't work most of the time. The guys (Wayne and Dave) got them working but they broke again. They were honest enough to advise they needed stripping out, new concrete base, motors wiring etc. They organised the ground work and did a great job reinstalling the gates. Now working perfectly at reasonable cost.

It was a great experience from start to finish. A visit to the showroom displayed all the options. It was a pleasure having Matt come round and provide us a fair quote, we opted for the top of the range insulated door. The fitters Matt and Jack were great lads, did an excellent job and were so helpful and professional throughout. Garage Door looks amazing, is fully insulated, with exceptional security and safety features including an alarm if someone should try to force it. Really delighted with the product and within minutes my next door neighbour was asking where I got it as he wants one.

The cable broke on my garage door and I was unable to open it so I asked Garage Door to look at it. They were able to give me an early appointment, rang prior to arrival to say they were on their way and arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed the problem, how to fix it and how much it would cost. They had the cables in the van and within half an hour the garage door was working perfectly. They guys were quick, efficient and really pleasant throughout. I ordered the garage door in April 2025 and due to a hospitalisation this firm kindly placed the ‘job’ on hold until I was recovered. The firm attended today, completed the installation in an efficient, clean and tidy manner. Nothing was too much trouble and the end result made me more than happy. Great product, great firm. Used these several times over the years. Locked out of Horsemann automated garage door following a power cut at the very worst time. Didn’t have the knack of using the emergency chord. SOS to GD&A who managed to fit me in same day. Team turned up, polite, helpful and sorted everything out. Excellent service.

Self installed a Securoglide garage door supplied by GDAAC Sept 23. Worked well but the safety stop started to activate for no obvious reason intermittently. They put me in touch with Securoglied technical and they were very helpful and we diagnosed 3 times but the problem persisted. Eventually Securoglide said a new control box was need and advised GDAAC. They were out within a week and the job was done in 20 minutes.

This is excellent customer support and warranty management.

Tim and Phil were absolutely fantastic, door looks great and they installed it very quickly.

Only giving a 4 star as it too nearly 2 months for the door to come when I was told 3 to 4 weeks and I had to call and chase up a few times.
