Gourmet Burger Kitchen Avis 

GBK Norwich. Although able to seat us without booking, food took ages to come, 4 orders were wrong and initially forgot the sides. Vegan burger was so burnt it was beyond being edible.

We had such a fantastic experience in GBK in Clarks Village. If we could rate the medium rare burger and everything that we ordered we would have given it 10 out of 10! Well done to the Manager of the GBK in the Clark’s Village - Tom! The team is efficient and very polite, not only it was very delicious, but the atmosphere of warmth and cosy welcome followed us all the way back home making us want to come back! We came back - first taking all the family with us and then with friends; introduced them all to our lovely experience there! Highly recommend after a hard day’s shopping.

We visit GBK Waterloo because their food is almost always freshly made and service is not so bad either. Recently their customer service assistant named Kamil has been outstanding in his attention to spotting our needs even after serving us which is worth a mention. The place was not busy, so they should have been able to deliver a good standard. The burgers were brought to the table, and the sides and fries/chips were served second. Every portion of Fries/chips was lukewarm, almost cold.

In addition to this, a staff member walked through the restaurant carrying bin bags of waste/rubbish or broken-down cardboard packaging. This was not just once but on three separate occasions with approximately 20-minute intervals. Who wants to see that going past you when you are having a meal?

Great Service at GBK Lakeside.

Overall GBKs are OK for now but once they were GREAT.

There used to be Free Monkey nuts while browsing the menus.

There used to be a dedicated refrigerator full of Their amazing Garlic Mayonnaise

They used to have Real Skinny Fries not the modern semi skinny regular fries

They used to have Special Sauces like Kiwi Habanero and Chilli sauce

They used to have the best tasting Panko coating on chicken breast (in burgers) but not any more.

I think thats a lot of change. I wish they realise before it's too late.

Visited GBK in Bath. Really expensive, not much food and poor service. We paid premium prices for a very basic, small burger, with very little filling and the first burger that was brought out was not even the one that we ordered!!! We had to wait nearly half an hour for our food to arrive, which is ok if it's worth waiting for!!! But it wasn't!! Very disappointing. The toilets were disgusting and had no toilet paper!!

The only upside was that the chips were nice, but we had to pay extra for these. Really not impressed and shall not be returning.

I am a regular customer at GBK Street Clark's village and for most part I have been satisfied. However yesterday at approximately 5.30pm we arrived and after 5mins were shown to a table and told to order at the bar. We were third in the queue standing at the counter and waited there for approximately 20mins. There were 2 people behind the bar. When it came to our turn the young woman taking orders at the bar turned around and took an order for Take Away. She then served the group of three men drinks which they drank standing up in the door way. She was in conversation with them when her colleague told us that there would be a 45 minute wait.
Having spent about 30 minutes waiting already we left as were going to a concert. Consequently we missed out on eating.

Flip and Dip was my favourite burger place until they closed down. GBK became my favourite but not any more.

They advertise on their wall that they are the medium rare experts but only twice in five trips have my burgers been medium rare, and that is a red card from me.
The staff are great and efficient but the chef needs training or more help in the kitchen.

I found a hair in my burger and I am not happy

I ordered last night for the very first time from the West Hampstead branch and they delivered the juiciest burger I’ve had in a while. Thank you for actually cooking your burger medium when I asked medium!
It’s sounds so intuitive, yet, very few restaurants do it, for some inexplicable reason.
I just placed an order again… hope I’m not disappointed *fingers crossed*

We have been a regular customer of Gourmet Burger for several years. We are usually happy with the food.

This evening we made an order for a delivery . They forgot to include 3 items the chicken and burger bun was black and burnt .The manager told me it wasn't burnt wasn't apologetic and they didn't send a replacement nor did they send the items we did not get . It was my birthday evening it was ruined by this experience and by the unhelpful manager

The burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection. Sophie was the perfect waitress, very accommodating, friendly and couldn't do enough for us! Will definitely be back 😊

Food is so greasy and oily and tasted awful

Totally and utterly unacceptable level of customer service cleanliness and food hygiene. Went to GBK Greenwich with my 7 month pregnant partner and we have both been on the toilet all day feeling really unwell. Please avoid this place. It’s so disappointing been using GBK for years quality is non existent and they just didn’t care. Such a contrast to what we’ve experienced in other stores. Even told us sides were batch cooked and reheated and when I said I’d like another as the chicken tenders were so tough I couldn’t chew them ( no exaggeration) was told they will be the same as they are reheated. Is that how GBK treats expectant mothers? Disgraceful and should be looked into

Even though the restaurant was only a quarter full, we waited exactly one hour for our burger and fries. And despite there being numerous waiting staff floating around trying to find something to do, no-one came to give us an update, apologise, see if we were okay or if we needed something. The two staff we complained to said they would notify their supervisor and see what they can do to make amends, but nothing and we had to dash.

Trying to keep a two year old entertained while he's hungry for an hour wasn't much fun. It turned out they only had one grill chef on and were prioritising online orders. Truly ruined the whole experience and left no time to shop afterwards.

My experience was great because overall the staff were extremely friendly and very approachable. Especially Arjun in particular who stood out and he also served us today at the Lexicon Bracknell, extremely considerate to my children’s needs especially as the girls couldn’t make up their mind he was very patient and smiling throughout his service very welcoming and warm. The ambience overall was great in the restaurant.

Awful vegan burgers. I thought the Beyond Burger on the menu was given but got an enchilada burger instead. Never again.
