Please please avoid this company at all costs . Lied to missed bullied disgraceful non existentant alleged customer service. Tried to escalate my complaint to a manager but apparently they don't have anyone who will give me the courtesy or a calk back . I know from reading the reviews it will be an automated response which tells you everything about the company.

Renewing Electricity Contract
Adam Shuttleworth, was very patient, in continually providing up to date quotes, whilst waiting for the Director to choose which provider we would go with. We were already with Green Energy Advice for one of our other meters and they have always provided the best quote. They are also provide good customer service if we have had any issues, but to be honest we only had one and it was resolved quickly.

Edit to a previously positive review
In January 2025, I left a five-star review because, at the time, I genuinely believed Green Energy Advise Bureau had provided an excellent service and helped our company navigate a difficult period during the energy crisis.
Since then, however, we have had our energy accounts independently reviewed by other energy specialists. Their findings have raised serious concerns about the energy contracts we were placed on, identifying what appears to be significant overcharging compared with other available options. As a result, we now believe our business was not treated as fairly as we should have been.
With the benefit of hindsight and this independent review, my opinion has changed considerably. While my original review reflected my genuine experience at that time, I no longer feel it accurately represents our overall experience. I would encourage other businesses to obtain independent advice and compare any proposed energy contracts carefully before making a decision.

Why we use the Green Energy Advice Bureau
I have been using the Church Energy Purchasing Group and have been for some while unhappy about their level of after care. Recently I came across The Green Energy Advice Bureau and have been very impressed with the level of service.
I have signed the church up to a new deal for gas when the current contract runs out and it is nearly 50% cheaper than now which takes us securely up to 2029. I will definitely be using them for our electric when that comes up rather than CEPG.
The main difference is that Reece who I dealt with can negotiate on our behalf and get the best deal at the best time rather than going through a long procurement process and it really does work. Not only this but any problems with suppliers and Reece or his colleagues will sort this out for you.
The church currently has a Silver Eco Award from A Rocha Ltd and is working towards Gold Standard. If achieved the church will be the first in the Greater Manchester area to be awarded this. When you get a good deal on energy as we have done through the Bureau this will massively impact on our changing from a gas fired heating system to a fully electric one along with solar panels and storage batteries.
It takes the pressure off the church finances and helps us to concentrate on Gods work.

Carbon neutral energy supply
We have found the GEAB to be really helpful in delivering savings on both our gas and electric supply contracts. As a cathedral it was very important that we were able to procure an affordable carbon neutral energy supply. Many thanks to Reece Wood who has been very proactive in securing us a significant saving.

Untrustworthy company who tries to rip you off as much as possible.
They have zero interest in saving you money just conning you into signing contracts that’s terrible for your business

Mis sold the policy
I wasn't told all the facts about the policy prior to signing up, upon realising this i asked to terminate the policy (Just 12 hours after signing) and was told i couldn't, 3 days later i get confirmation that the policy had just been finalised.. I believe i was mis sold.
In response to GEAB reply. Complaint currently sits with Npower as no positive progress with GEAB, will never use again and encourage others to be aware.
