Ben and Cameron were very persistent in…
Ben and Cameron were very persistent in countering my disbelief at what they were saying, but in the end I was convinced thay they will save us a significant sums amount because we have been in the wrong structure. As well as being persuasive they are efficient clear communicators. Even during the holiday period handovers were seamless. I have not actually seen the final reductions discussed but I have every belief they will deliver.

How to make yourselves sound like scammers
Long winded telephone sales call mentioning some nonsense about network charges but, didn't say what he wanted. Can't comment if their energy brokerage is any good but, it was clear the person speaking to me would have said anything. I asked for the purpose of the call and continued to get nonsense - Hung Up and I advise you do the same

Beware of mis-selling
I would strongly advise anyone considering The Green Energy Advice Bureau to think very carefully before using their services.
My experience with this broker was extremely disappointing. The Energy Ombudsman investigated my complaint and concluded that I had been mis-sold my 'Blend and Extend' energy contract. Despite raising my concerns directly with the broker, I experienced poor communication, a lack of transparency, and little willingness to resolve the matter without independent intervention.
The Ombudsman's investigation found in my favour and confirmed that the contract had been mis-sold. It should never take an independent Ombudsman to establish what a company should have acknowledged and resolved itself.
The entire process was unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming. Customers should be able to trust that an energy broker will provide accurate information, explain contracts clearly, and communicate honestly and professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
The Ombudsman's decision speaks for itself. I hope this company learns from the outcome, improves its sales practices and customer service, and ensures that other customers are not subjected to the same treatment.
Based on my experience and the Ombudsman's findings, I cannot recommend this broker.

For context, your complaint was first investigated by the energy supplier, who concluded that there had been no evidence of wrongdoing. You then exercised your right to refer the matter to the Energy Ombudsman, who reached a different conclusion based on the specific circumstances of your case. We respected that decision and complied fully with the Ombudsman's requirements.
While we acknowledge that you remain dissatisfied, we do not accept that your experience is representative of our business or the service received by the thousands of customers we assist each year. We operate robust sales, compliance and quality assurance processes and are committed to continually reviewing and improving these wherever appropriate.
As this matter relates to an individual complaint that has already been independently reviewed, it would not be appropriate to discuss the specific details publicly.
We wish you all the best going forward.
